Chapter 69: Chapter 69: Brothers are like clothes, women are like limbs

She gripped his hand. The man’s fingers were tightly pinching her chin, the force painful.

"Mai, Alexis isn’t taking good care of you."

Sienna Johnson went along with Adrian Desmond’s words. "I guess she’s just too inexperienced. I’ll ask the Housekeeper to find a more experienced one to serve the Sixth Master tomorrow. The Sixth Master is quite... versatile in bed, so it’s always better to find someone equally matched."

He suddenly lowered his voice. "Mai, is that really what you’re thinking?"

Sienna’s jaw ached from his grip. She tried to push him away but couldn’t. "Yes, Sixth Master! That’s exactly what I’m thinking."

"Is it? It seems to me you don’t mean what you say!"

He roared in anger, his hands gripping her shoulders and thrusting her off the bed. Sienna stumbled, falling to her knees between his legs. He was wearing nothing underneath. When Sienna looked up, she was confronted by the dark thicket of his pubic hair.

"Adrian, what are you doing?"

"No woman has ever served me as well as you, Mai! Why don’t you serve me? I’ve been ’hungry’ for a long time..."

Sienna hadn’t let Adrian touch her since she found out she was pregnant. Adrian, however, had a strong libido; when he had time, they used to make love almost every day. It had been two months now, and he couldn’t bear it any longer.

"I’m pregnant!"

"I know. Women have two mouths. If the lower one can’t be used, the upper one can!"

"Adrian, you damn bastard!" she exclaimed, lunging to scratch him.

He hated seeing her pretentious act. This panicked expression, the one that revealed her true self, was what he truly liked. She was snarling, baring her teeth like a little beast, thinking herself ferocious, but her claws couldn’t harm anyone. Adrian’s gloomy face finally showed a trace of a smile. "Mai, this is your true face. No need to pretend to be virtuous and magnanimous anymore..."

"MMH..."

His whole body tensed, his mind went blank. He tightly pulled her hair. "Mai, you’ll be the death of me one day!"

...

The nightclub was a vibrant scene of flashing lights and flowing wine, filled with men seeking pleasure and women in heavy makeup.

Two scantily clad women sat next to Adrian Desmond. He had been "refreshed" yesterday, so his mood was particularly good today.

"...A company is hiring a female secretary, and the Boss personally interviews them. The question is: What’s the difference between a woman’s two mouths?

The first applicant answered, ’One is horizontal, the other is vertical.’ She was eliminated.

The second female applicant answered, ’One has hair, the other doesn’t.’ She was also eliminated.

The third girl, being clever, said, ’One I use myself, and the other is for you to use.’ She got the job..."

At drinking parties, these kinds of risqué jokes served to liven the atmosphere. Adrian glanced at his friend Dan Taylor, who had told the joke, and said, "That Boss must be you, right?"

Last night, Adrian had enjoyed Sienna’s ’upper mouth,’ and the memory still made his blood boil.

He wondered if he could get more benefits tonight?

Dan Taylor, a cigarette dangling from his lips, raised an eyebrow at Adrian. "You’re my brother; of course, you know me."

Jule, who was nearby, sneered, "Only you would stoop to something like that!"

Business was business. No matter how wild they were in their private lives, they wouldn’t joke about business matters. Dan Taylor, however, was different; he treated business like a game. They all wondered how, with his attitude, his father’s company hadn’t gone bankrupt under his management.

"Life is short; we must enjoy ourselves while we can. HA HA..." Dan Taylor felt no shame at all, even grabbing the breast of the woman beside him.

"Adrian, I heard you have a woman?" Dan Taylor asked, his tone gossipy. Everyone else looked over, curious about what kind of woman had captivated Adrian Desmond, who had always been indifferent to women and was even suspected of being gay.

"Yeah. She’s pregnant now. For my son’s hundred-day celebration, you all better prepare a big red envelope for him," Adrian said, his face beaming with joy.

The men present all had plenty of women, but getting one pregnant was another matter. Women were for amusement; once tired of them, they could be replaced. Children, however, were different—their own flesh and blood, not to be discarded.

"You got *that* woman pregnant?" Dan Taylor asked, his usual flippant demeanor gone, replaced by a serious expression.

Adrian shuffled the cards, glancing at the men whose jaws had practically dropped in surprise. He retorted, "Is it so strange for me to get a woman pregnant? Are you questioning my ’ability’?"

Jule asked, "Does Melanie know?"

"I haven’t told her yet."

Jule frowned. "Melanie isn’t pregnant, but your mistress is. How is Melanie supposed to maintain her dignity?"

"She’s not a mistress; I plan to marry her."

"When we first asked when you would marry Melanie, you said you’d do so only after taking your revenge. Now, your revenge isn’t complete, yet you’ve gotten another woman pregnant. Adrian, your loyalties have really strayed!"

Jule and the others all knew Melanie Carpenter. In their eyes, Melanie’s position was supreme, regardless of how many other women Adrian might have. But now, Adrian had gotten another woman pregnant.

"That’s right. Keeping a few women for fun is one thing, but how could you let her get pregnant?" Dan Taylor also disapproved of Adrian’s actions.

Adrian threw down his cards, his gaze sweeping over Dan Taylor and Jule as he declared, "In my life, I will only marry two women: Melanie and Mai. They will both be my wives, with equal status! Whatever Melanie has, Mai will have too! She won’t lack a single thing!"

"If their status is truly the same, then why is this other woman pregnant and not Melanie?"

"..."

"Adrian, have you ever truly considered Melanie? Because of you, her family was destroyed, and she lost everything. All these years, she’s been lonely and miserable. And how have you treated her? You gave her the title of Adrian Desmond’s fiancée and then just abandoned her there, utterly neglecting her. Now, you’ve gone and had a child with some wild woman who appeared out of nowhere. Have you spared a single thought for Melanie..."

Adrian was fiercely protective. No matter Sienna’s faults, he could criticize her himself, but he wouldn’t allow anyone else to speak ill of her. He clenched his fists, anger etched on his face. "What? Are you trying to meddle in my private affairs now?"

"..."

"And another thing! Even if my old man were still alive, he couldn’t control whom I marry or which woman I choose to bear my child! So, all of you, just butt out!"

"..."

"All of you, listen up! If anyone dares to bully my women, don’t blame me for disregarding our brotherhood!"

Seeing the atmosphere grow tense, Dan Taylor, ever the diplomat, quickly intervened. "HEH HEH, it’s just women, gentlemen. Don’t let it damage the bonds of brotherhood."

"HUMPH!"
