"Do you like it?" Adrian asked.

Melanie was ecstatic, nodding repeatedly. "I like it, I like it. I like anything Sixth Brother gives me."

Melanie took the roses from Walter’s hand, placed them to her nose, and smelling the rose fragrance, said, "My favorite scent is rose."

Bella also said, "My cousin’s perfume is also rose-scented. Sixth Brother really loves my cousin; he even knows she likes roses."

"Bella, honestly..." Melanie said, a little embarrassed.

Adrian pulled up a chair and sat down beside Melanie. "You’ll be discharged from the hospital in a couple of days. After that, I plan to send you Abroad. It’s not safe here."

After Melanie’s parents were tragically killed, Adrian had brought her back to the Desmond Family. Although the two had never held a wedding ceremony, everyone in the Desmond Family knew she was Adrian’s future wife.

The bouquet of roses was heavy. Melanie, tired from holding them, handed them to Bella to put in a vase.

Bella covered her mouth, giggling. "That’s right, my cousin never said that. My cousin doesn’t miss Sixth Brother at all. How’s that?"

Adrian handed a slightly seasick Melanie Carpenter to Tatu. Her wound hadn’t fully healed, and her face was pale.
