Wang Xiaoya saw the news in the group chat, changed her clothes, and hurried downstairs, only to find the hall was almost empty.

Zhang Yue felt guilty at once, staring at Liu Kai and quickly distancing himself, asserting, "I’m not involved with Liu Kai getting unfairly accused; I am simply discussing the facts as they are!"

Long Fei sneered, "Discussing the facts? Then let me finish speaking before you open your mouth, or you’ll end up embarrassing yourself."

Zhang Yue glared at him, biting his teeth and flushed with anger, said, "Fine, speak! I’d like to see how you can spin this story."

Chu Feng and Geng Zhong sat quietly aside, not saying a word.

Long Fei took out Liu Kai’s cell phone and receipts, placed them on the table, and said, "These items belong to Deputy Manager Liu Kai. Dissatisfied with his job reassignment, he planned revenge and to frame Manager Chu Feng. He first purchased a miniature camera, then instigated Wang Cheng from the cleaning department to exploit his position and install the camera in the women’s restroom. There are hundreds of screenshots in his phone, intended for online release. Once this causes an uproar in society, he planned to shift the blame onto Manager Chu Feng."

He looked at Zhang Yue, his gaze piercing, "Manager Zhang, for such a pervert, a scumbag, doesn’t he deserve to be beaten? I heard that your girlfriend also works for our company. Don’t you want to know if her photos are in this phone?"

Long Fei raised it out of reach and smiled at Zhang Yue, "Manager Zhang, this phone contains far too many private photos; you have no right to inspect them. I’ve already called the police, so let’s wait for them to resolve this matter."

Zhang Yue’s face turned red, his gaze fixated on Liu Kai, wishing he could give the bastard another beating himself.

He coldly asked Liu Kai, "Is everything Captain Long said true?"

Liu Kai hung his head in silence, not daring to speak.

Zhang Yue took a breath, pointed at Liu Kai, and said, "Fine, I, Zhang Yue, must have been blind to befriend someone like you. I’m washing my hands of this mess!"

Wang Xiaoya gritted her teeth and said, "I’m so mad I could kill you, you believe me?"

Long Fei nodded with a smile and tilted his neck, "I believe it. If you want to kill me, go ahead, my life is yours to take!"

Wang Xiaoya stood up in frustration, grabbed his neck with both hands, actually wanting to throttle him.
