Mary smiled. ’I’m glad Yumi’ she thought excitedly, almost teary, she was happy and proud.

"Mm," she made a sound, smiling.

"Say Mary-chan, will we finally be able to see Mirai-chan and the others?" She asked in hopes of seeing Mirai again. She misses her so much for the past 7 months, she knew they were in training but that was all over right? They should be able to see them now.

"Yes we will, but they are the Strike Team tasked with a very important mission, my guess is that will they move out first", Mary said but it was just a hunch, that should be the case, the Strike Team’s main target was the Queen, the Queen was the brainbox in everything so taking her down will hopefully bring an end to all this.

"I see," Yumi said sadly, she really had the hope of seeing her before they move out for war, she figured she won’t anymore, she shakes her head. ’No Yumi you will see her after the war’ she thought with hope, so she will fight and wait until then.

Ten got ready in a hurry, he was fully dressed in his military outfit and gearing up, he took off his glasses, securing it in one of his pouches. It would be a great loss to him if he misplaced it while doing the war, it was after all a special gift from Kaiyo.

"Alright, ready!" he said with his fist high up in the air but he blinked not once but twice when his eyes landed on Hiro’s headset on the table, he smiled.

"I will leave it in your hands Ten, I trust you buddy", Hiro’s words echoed in his head.

He took it grinning, God, he missed that stubborn Hiro, he wondered if he would be able to see him before they move out to the Queen Kaiju, even Shino, he was almost teary thinking about two of his best friends he hadn’t seen for months.

"You two better be strong as f**k," he said, chuckling to himself, he believed in their strength and what they were capable of achieving. He took the handset putting it in his bag

He would really miss this room too, it had all the memories, the sad, the happy, the good and the bad, it was after all the first time he saw Kimura Hiro, not particularly the first because he already saw a glimpse of him at the Amusement Park before the black storm. He smiled at all the rush of memories.

Humanity was taking a big step today, and he believed they would win, they have to, there was no way the Kaijus were gonna take over the world. ’We will send them to hell!’ He thought with a tightened fist, so that Humanity can once again inhabit the surface in peace, NO more hiding underground.

The doors of his room slid open, Ten turned, seeing Doctor Touka fully dressed on the go.

"Dr. Touka," he said stunned, he wasn’t expecting to see her here.

"Saito Ten, orders from General Anzai".

He froze at her statement, his skin crawling.

Daiki was done packing his bags, he sighed feeling scared, they were at war now, he sure hope he survived, out of their training for the past 7 months and a half he scored the lowest, it was either he was too scared or weak to complete anything, he always knew he was, he was always scared and never actually fought like the others, the others were rapid in their growth doing training, preparing for this very day all reaching higher levels.

He checked his wristband, no one needed to tell him that Level 3 was the lowest, it hadn’t even picked up numbers in 6 months.

His light green eyes landed on his blood weapon against his bed which was a notebook and a pen, a foolish weapon he demanded, he did it out of his love for art never knowing Engr. Kazuya was actually gonna give him one.

He sighs. "Idiot Daiki" he cursed himself. ’Always an idiot all your life’ he sniffed as the tears threatened to fall, he WAS an idiot, he was dumb, too foolish to fight, and always afraid of everything, this was the era of war and he remained an idiot.

He took his blood weapon, shoved it in his bag, and stepped out of his room with a heavy sigh, he would have to make sure he got in nobody’s way so they wouldn’t have to worry about a coward like him. In his head, he could already picture two gazes looking down at him for what he was, even in death he was sure they still did.

His grip tightening against his bag he clenched tightly to his chest.

"Bio-genetics Assemble!" A loud voice yelled.

Daiki turned his attention to it along with others already gathered in the lobby.

Himari, Usagi, and Emiko who engaged in small talk turned at the same time.

Sakura steps out of her room seeing everyone facing a particular direction. Homura blinked.

"Ten?" Fujio said, puzzled.

Ten was at the forefront at the entrance, he stood up straight, with chest out, hands on his waist, his looks stern and his lips pressed in a thin line.

Everyone stared at him with perplexed expressions, wondering what he was up to, this was not a drill they have to keep moving.

"Ten?" Haya said, blinking.

Ten closed his eyes before taking a deep breath, he flashes it open, and holds out a permission slip, everyone remains confused.

"Order’s from General Anzai!" He announced. "I’m leading this force"
