"BLOOD TECHNIQUE: COMBO ATTACK!" Kaneki shouts as his blade got more effective, the pistol en-craved in it shoots a bullet also, the simultaneous attack causes the wall to shook more, and then it cracked as it combusted, the force pushed Kaneki backward as he slammed to the ground hard.

He groaned in pain, his body numb.

"I did it," he said with a smile against his lips.

’You did good Kaneki’ Anzai thought with a smile against his lips.

Control Tower

Touka smiled shaking her head.

"Okura Kaneki former Level Sp3: Level 2... now Sp3: Level 4" she announced.

MIZUKI

"Hey Mizuki don’t just stand there... time is running out," Anzai said, his eyes fixed on Mizuki who just stared at the wall, he hasn’t lifted a finger ever since.

Mizuki placed his palm on the wall, he sighed.

"But General Anzai... no matter what I do it will just backfire... what’s the point of breaking the wall?" he asked amused.

’Does this kid ever stop smiling’ he thought with a twitching eyebrow, he cleared his throat composing himself.

"Well Mizuki..." he began in a serious tone.

"This is part of your training and how you’re all gonna increase your levels," Anzai said facing the wall placing his palm against it.

"Imagine this wall as a Kaiju’s body or any offensive attack... it shows that in battle you might experience something hard to overpower, think of this as overcoming that attribute and how your body can withstand it most especially if your own attack backfire’s", He faced Mizuki.

"We know nothing about the Queen Kaiju powers and yet to understand but we know this... 10 of you are most likely about to face the most dangerous being on earth, so we should expect anything... that why your training has to be brutal, you all have to become one with your blood weapon so that your true potential can be harness... it’s only that way we will be able to win this war and reclaim the surface as ours once again"

Mizuki grinned, nodding in understanding.

"Understood sir!"

Anzai sighed.

"Now will you get to work?"

"On it," he said as his body creeps in red veins, his entire body, his cherry red eyes turned to his bio-genetics ones, the iris color changed to the bright crystal blue like a diamond of mixed shade of light and dark with a hint of red lines in it, forming a crack moving around, the pupil darkens more and extended.

Anzai froze at the sudden shift in power and his appearance.

Suddenly his body vibrates like he was phasing, He took swift steps to the wall and phases through.

’This is...’ he thought in awe.

The wall breaks apart from within, Mizuki gave a heavy sneeze rubbing his nose and groaning before turning to Anzai with a big smile.

"All done General Anzai," he said sneezing once again.

"I think Kaname gave me this", he groaned with spinning eyes, remembering when Kaname was helplessly sneezing around since, he must have caught this from him and now his nose was killing him.

Anzai was still in shock, mouth wide open, his eyelid twitching.

Control Tower

"Amazing... that phasing it’s just like the one Daiki have," Touka said in awe, remembering Daiki’s strange abilities to phase through things, but she never knew Mizuki have such. Because of Daiki’s strange abilities, it was then found out that the bio-genetics due to the virus within their system as they differ in blood type and medical history, it was possible for them to develop traits that were special only to them.

Just like how Hiro’s hair lights up with blue when he is in full power, Haya enormous flow of energy and vibration within her, Yuki’s special abilities to control her powers efficiently, even Shino’s strange ability she came to discover during this training, she only found out through the monitors and when Anzai asked, they found out Shino could pause time... although it was due for more research before they have figured it out.

’Could Mizuki have special traits too?’ she thought puzzled.

She turned to his level... the increase was Level 4. She felt something was odd, ’I will have to find out more later’ she thought for certain.

’I see... just like Yuki he can see the weakness of the wall... he knew the wall may be harder than any steel from the outside but yet its weakness lies in the center, within the wall is the weakness’ Anzai thought as a sweat trailed from his forehead.

Mizuki continuously sneezed

"Damn you Kaname" he groaned rubbing his nose.

REN

Ren’s ring sword spins back to him, he quickly caught it but the force pushed him backward.

He took harsh breaths, after all his attack the wall still wouldn’t budge, his body sustain the damage instead.

"I have to think of something," he said while panting.

He looked towards the time. ’Fast!’

He stretched his hand forward along with his weapon. ’I will finish this with one blow’ he thought as his bio-genetics eyes beamed dangerously, his ring sword beamed the brightest crimson like there were red flames around it.

"Increased!" he yelled as the ring sword levitates off his grip stationing right in front of him.

’Time for me to try my ultimate technique’ he thought with a smirk, thanks to Ten he was able to think of such and perfected it.

A Few Days Ago

"According to Engr. Kazuya, our blood weapon is like an extension of ourselves" Ten explained adjusting his glasses.

"Right," Ren said scratching the back of his head, he needed to perfect a technique so he came to Ten for advice.

"That is the most important fact you should remember, our blood weapon can be considered as a power-up for our abilities... but you see out of all the blood weapon we possess... I have never seen anything like his" he said with trembling eyes.

Ren blinks puzzled.

"His?"

"The first time it manifested... It almost looked so unreal, I pondered the fact that it’s just strange things about the virus that granted us such power... but a stick? to evolve into a sword at will? It almost seemed impossible, it was like a power lying dominant... something that was already there"

"You’re not talking about Hiro are you?"

"The point is Ren, I believe as long as we harness our true strength, this virus within our body even though we have a ticking death clock on our heads... there are so many things we can unleash... after all the power of blood vary no other" Ten said with a thumbs up.

"About what you said about Hiro..." he trailed.

"Oh, that" Ten said adjusting his glasses.

"Forget I said that" he added chuckling.

"Seriously?" Ren said with a twitching eyebrow.

"I’m sure your new technique is gonna be lit" he cheered.

Ren nods with a smile against his lips.

"It’s all thanks to you Ten!"

’Thank you Ten...’ Ren thought. ’Although I do not understand why you talked about Hiro... I could see it in your eyes, its holds curiousness for answers... you’re always an inquisitive person from start but that doesn’t change the fact about what you told me... I believe bringing Hiro in you were trying to state the possible reasons of how we can master our blood weapon as one and also by will... let me give a try Ten!’

"Blood Technique!" he yelled, his ring sword gave a loud pulse sound.

Anzai only watches the scene with amusement.

"Ten rings!" His ring sword instantly splits to ten in a circle.

’This is interesting... he splits his weapon using his energy’ Anzai thought in acknowledgment.

"AAAAAAHHHHHH" he gave a loud battle cry sound as with a slam the ten rings zap towards the wall still in circle form, zapping right through it.

The wall now had the imprint of ten rings, steams coming out, suddenly the wall collapsed.

Ren smiled.

"I did it!" he said elated as the ring floated back to him, going back to the normal one, he took it with a grin.

Control Tower

"Shimizu Ren current level now Sp3: Level 4" Touka announced with a smile against her lips.

The entrance to the tower slides open as medical personnel works in.

"Dr. Touka"

She turned to him.

"Hiro... he’s now stable"

"Ah thank goodness," Touka said with a breath of relief, thank God it wasn’t anything serious.

"I will check of him as soon as they are done with training, I will take some blood samples then"

"Yes ma’am," he said before leaving.

Yuki was seated on the bed watching Hiro, he was fast asleep no longer in pain, a drip connected to his hand.

Her lips pressed in a thin line before she laid beside him, cuddling up next to him, her eyes sad and shaky.

"Idiot Hiro," she said in a whisper.

"Always doing reckless things"
