Chapter 284: <ERASE> PART 2

Current time inside Viktor’s Dimension room.

Viktor was suspicious of Lucifer’s act after he read the future events. He wasn’t following Viktor’s plan after his curse was lifted and the item he was given by Viktor was used on someone he didn’t imagine.

The item Viktor gave to Lucifer was a curse lifter which could lift only 66 God’s curses. He specifically told Lucifer to pick those who seem strong, and wise and will not make any wrong decisions. He advised him to do that so they could take part in the upcoming war of heaven. But Lucifer didn’t abide by his words and went to wake his dead brothers by modifying the item. They became all undead but strong as king god. Lucifer was able to control them all but one of his undead lost control and caused rackets in his territory, leading to a huge fight.

The news of the fight and Lucifer’s doings gradually reached the ears of other gods.

But in order to calm his undead brother and protect his territory, Lucifer went to hide for a few centuries. In the meantime, the uncontrollable undead brother would be found by Ifrit who was recently given the seat of his territory. He was wounded, had multiple seals on his soul and was a taboo creation just like Adonis.

After hearing his story, Ifrit decided to send him to the mortal world under his shadow and told him to gain enough strength to break the seal by himself. And one day, he will be sent to Viktor by Ifrit and request him to join the war.

The undead brother will get his revenge after the war ends. Until the time comes, he will fake his identity so Lucifer can’t find him out.’

’What a troublesome thing to do. Why would I even bother being with another kid when I am already tired after taking care of Raphael? And why did Lucifer make his brothers undead and locked them inside a prison? For fun? Or revenge? I don’t even want to know. Just don’t get me involved in this brother war shit. I am already in a brother war, I don’t want another.’

Sighing a little, Viktor closed his record and looked at his little Raphael’s face. He was sleeping like he was in no worry. He was almost 99 years old, and the date of his awakening was approaching soon but Viktor had already seen through every event that might happen in the next 10 years.

When he turns 100, the compass Raphael took inside his body will come out before he wakes up. Viktor has to secure the compass and give it to Radium without Raphael knowing anything.

Raphael would wake up with so many memories that he might not be able to recognize Viktor for some moment. If he sees the compass, he would immediately know it is a part of his soul and try to snatch it away using everything he has.

Because his memory as Raphael is a small floating dust in front of a whole universe full of knowledge.

’So Raphael won’t remember anything related to his past life except for the tons of technical knowledge he has. He will remember some parts in order to take his revenge. But his core memory will be these 50 years of his life. I think it was wise of me to take care of him instead of putting him to sleep for a century.

He will be Raphael, a child who grew up under my care and he will call me father even if he is a demigod.

Man, I wonder what he was thinking when he selected me as his caretaker. Maybe he wanted a good life so he voluntarily decided to forget everything and start all over again. My hard work is going to pay me back finally.

But what comes next is the most interesting thing.

The days passed as Viktor prepared for the awakening of Raphael. He was preparing for the war because it could happen at any time. He was outside his body so much that he almost thought of his current avatar as his own.

His real body was floating in the space of the heavenly tower, under the god of the dungeon’s care. And his real body was almost in its 6th stage divine Qi state. Getting 1 more nectar potion would make him the first god who had ever reached the 7th stage in a short time.

But that future wasn’t fixed.

"So, I have to keep practising my magic in order to win the war no matter what. We are against Name so it will be very difficult to win."

Viktor kept reading all the possibilities of things happening in the future and then Uranium called him.

*MASTER, it is time.*

Looking at the floating cat with a clipboard in its hand, Viktor closed his record book and asked, "It’s about time already? I just opened my book a day ago."

*You may not know but in mortal world time, it’s been a year since you started reading, MASTER. You are slowly getting used to the time flow of Heaven.*

"I see. So it’s been a year. I may have passed some time lost in thoughts instead of reading, actually. Anyway, how is Raphael’s body?"

*His heart rate is stabilizing. He is about to wake up in any moment.*

Viktor was looking at his chest. He was ready to take the key and hide it before Raphael woke up. The clock hit 100th year and then, his chest glowed.

The compass along with a key inside it came out of his chest that somehow made Viktor stunned. It was glowing, had a transparent body and it was bigger than before. Without wasting a single second, Viktor snatched it and put it inside another dimension pocket he made secretly only for the item.

And then, Raphael woke up.

Sitting up, he looked around and saw Viktor, the floating cat Uranium but couldn’t recognise who they were. His brain was filled with so much information that he couldn’t figure out why and what he was doing there.

"Hello, Raphael. Do you remember me?" Viktor asked. But he used the mortal language so he could remember quickly.

"Who?"

"Raphael V. North, that is your name. I am Viktor E. North. The person who raised you since you were an infant."

"Viktor... I feel like I heard that name before. My memory is a bit hazy. May I ask where we are?"

"It’s my house. The house you lived in for 50 years and fell asleep for 50. Technically, it’s your 100th birthday today." Standing up, Viktor stretched his back and said, "Don’t worry, you will get back your memories soon. Say, do you want to go out for a walk? Seeing your old things might help you get your memories back quickly."

Nodding a little, Raphael held Viktor’s hand and stood up by supporting on them. He then took a few steps before getting back to his feet and opened the door on his own.

He was a little confused because his hands seemed to be used to that door but he couldn’t remember it because of those tons of information. He had no idea what to do with them but he knew his priority.

He walked out of the room and saw a huge place filled with hundreds of trees. It wasn’t a house, but also it wasn’t quietly outdoor.

There were trees everywhere but also, there was furniture below them. The roof of the massive room was imitating the sky but he knew it wasn’t the sky he saw from all those videos he saw. But when he tried to remember where he had seen those moving pictures called Video, his memories became hazy.

Even so, he knew all of those events were connected to one man who was walking right behind him. The man named Viktor E. North, whose name was also weirdly similar to his.

"Sir North, may I ask what kind of place is this?"

’Sir North? Heheh, to think he would use formalities to talk. I better record this.’ Viktor chuckled and replied, "This is a place called dimension room. It can be only accessible to the person who owns the room. You and I have been living here for the past 100 years. You must be wondering why you don’t remember, right? Here, go inside this room."

Viktor stopped in front of a room and asked the boy to enter.

"Who’s room is this?"

"Figure it out by yourself, kid. I will wait in the kitchen room. I need to bake your favourite cake. I wonder how I will bake them today, it’s been 50 years since I touched anything or ate anything." saying that, Viktor walked away and left Raphael alone in front of his room.
