Chapter 254: Got kicked out

"High school, huh? A broke a** like my new father doesn’t have money to enrol me in a scholar high school. He only thinks about alcohol, sleeping and gambling. He even sold his son’s arms when he ran out of money and let him rot for months for two crippled to pay off his gambling loan."

"He is a scumbag who thinks if he had a son with mana, he’d be swimming in a pool of money by sending him to dungeons."

"And he has no clue which b*tch gave birth to this kid because one day he just found this kid in front of his doorstep, claiming to be his son. So he took him to a hospital to test both of their DNA. Turns out, he WAS his real kid and had no idea which woman he had spent his night with a few years ago."

Viktor turned off the screen floating in front of him and opened the window to look outside.

The city far away was beaming with neon blue. Blue floating screens were rotating around buildings, advertising brands, trains were flying between buildings and so many cars were waiting in lines 50 feet above the ground.

"Heh... What’s the point of a flying car when it’s waiting in traffic in the middle of the sky? This is stupid..."

But the breeze was the same as ever as it was on other planets he had visited. It was cold, mixed with the smell of mana and sand.

And then, a particular smell went inside his nose that made his expression frowned like a wrinkly old man.

The smell from the leaked septic tank forbidden grey liquid...

"Urghh..... !!!"

*Bang!!*

He immediately shut his window and used air purification magic to clean the air inside his room.

"Aha..hah...hah.. I am sure that’s our apartment complex’s septic tank and nobody bothers to fix it."

He then fell on his bed made of iron frame and stared at the ceiling fan, making a screeching noise while rotating.

’20 years huh? 10 minutes have already passed.’

While looking at the countdown, he took out the key-finding compass from his dimension pocket and opened it.

It pointed its dial at the west but there was no clue to his presence. It was just in the west.

At that moment, someone from the dining room yelled. "Viktor!! Why didn’t you pass the exam with full marks!! Do you think I have money to pay your school fees? Get out and earn it yourself! I’ve had enough of you!"

’Yes, this kid has the same name as mine. Viktor. Just Viktor. Nothing on its front or its back.’

After getting an hour of scolding, Viktor was finally kicked out of the house right before his birthday. The age of 15 was the minimum age of a person who can earn money by raiding dungeons so Viktor had only a week before he could finally go inside a dungeon officially.

"But nobody said you can’t get inside an illegal one," Viktor smirked and walked past a street filled with people in weird costumes.

Actually, they were part of their metallic body so they were glowing neon lights. Some of them even had missing lower parts of their body and still, they were walking on long robotic legs.

But there were still people with all of their limbs attached to their bodies. Only 10% of the entire population had prosthetic parts attached to their body.

Suddenly, he sensed two mages flying on their hoverboard a few meters above the street. They were wearing blue uniforms with a police batches on the left side of their chest. One of them was an elf.

Viktor looked at their backs and they took turns and took a different road before vanishing. They were patrolling the area.

The refuge area to be precise...

All of the humans and others who live there were mostly from the northern continent. After the sudden population decrease, the victims’ families moved far away from the northern continent and gathered on the south side of the eastern continent.

But Viktor’s family wasn’t one of them. They just happened to become victims of a sudden increase in population who stole their farmland where they used to grow rice. They were permanent residents of Polmar country. Now, it’s nothing but a huge marketplace and there is no way of getting it back.

Their family’s financial situation hit rock bottom.

"And I got kicked out of the house because I failed to get a scholarship in high school. Well, good for me because I am going to raid an illegal dungeon now for the next 7 days. Then, I will travel to the West and god knows how far the destination is. This world is so huge."

Viktor looked at his huge arms that didn’t match his body side and said, "I need to take care of these first..."

He entered a restroom and went straight into his dimension room. The arms were connected to his nerves so he couldn’t just tear them apart.

"Uranium, take my arms off."

*MASTER, is this your new host?*

"Yes. It’s small isn’t it?"

*Yes. It’s small and weak. Please cast healing magic on your body. I will take care of the arms.*

Soon, Uranium cut off the arms from his shoulder and the blood started to come out. Since he had all of his skills synchronised, he used regeneration magic and a pair of hands grew without any issue.

They were new, strong and he could feel his mana vessels forming inside of it. They were new as newly bloomed flowers.

"Hmm. Perfect..."

After eating a few snacks, he went out of his dimension room and headed straight into the black market district where they are hiding a huge teleportation gate to a non-evaluated dungeon somewhere else on the eastern continent.

To enter the dungeon, one must pay 5k U and share a fixed amount of dungeon treasure with the management sector.

In front of a pawn shop, Viktor dumped the junk on a desk in front of an old man.

"How much for these?" Viktor asked the old man.

Without even glancing at it, the old man said, "1000."

"Hey, old man. I’m a little low on time so why don’t you just give me all you got?" Viktor gave off a devilish smile and brainwashed the old man.

10K earned...

"Wah.. 10K.. those arms were a piece of junk."

’I could’ve just sold gold bars that I’ve stored in my dimension room but it would make people suspicious of me. Gold is like a rare material in Arcadia and only super-rich people have access to gold. It’s so rare that it has magical properties just like ’dark gold’ on Erok. That’s why only rich enchanters and fighters can buy weapons made of gold.

And the gold I have has no magical properties so they will arrest me for scamming people with ’Fake’ gold-_-.’ I’ll be marked as a scammer even before I could get out of Polmar.

Of course, I can turn all my gold stock into magical gold but there is no need. I have infinite mana stones that can blow an entire planet along with all the nearest planets-_-. Why would I even need to cast enchantment magic on gold? It’s a material for accessories. It’s not dynamite.’

"Hey, Viktor!! Fancy seeing you here!!"

Viktor turned his head and saw a green-headed elf waving his hand at him. From his memories, that green elf was his close friend when they both used to read in elementary school. But he went violent when he unlocked his mana core and started to bully Viktor.

After 1 month of bullying, he just stopped coming to school because he found something else to bully. The monsters inside the dungeon.

So, he had no idea if Viktor had mana or not. Or the news about losing his hands.

The elf approached him and grabbed Viktor’s shoulder. "It’s nice to meet you, man. How are you?"

Viktor peeked inside his record and saw he was a goldfish-headed idiot. He had forgotten the fact that he used to bully Viktor and only remembered that he was a good friend. That one month of bullying was a non-existent memory.

Viktor sighed and replied, "Liam, it’s been so long. How are you?"

He shook his hand and again asked, "What are you doing here? Are you a fighter? Woh, you’re a grown man now."

"Hahahaha!!! Yes, many things happened after I dropped out of school. I’m a fighter-class hunter now, 2nd Rank Fighter at that."

"2nd rank? You’re a genius, man. I envy you."

"So, what about you? Have you awakened? What’s your class?"

"I’m an enchanter."

"I never thought a baby face like you would become an enchanter. Anyway, are you planning to raid a dungeon now? One gate will open after 10 minutes. See that long line? Go there and register your name. Ah, use a fake name or you’ll get blacklisted. Anyway, my party is calling me so I will go now. Let’s exchange contacts."

"Yeah, sure."

After exchanging contacts, Viktor went to the reception and took an ID, a ticket and selected a party where they had one vacant seat for an enchanter.

Soon, he went to the gate and united with a party of 5. One of them was a demon who somehow sensed a superior aura from Viktor. Since the demon has an instinct of respecting those who are stronger than them, the demon stepped back a little when a minute ago, he was acting like the leader of the party.

But it also made him think why a small human like him has more power than a 3rd rank fighter like him. He wanted to ask but his instinct was telling him to shut his mouth and keep quiet around him.

Unlike demons, the other races can’t sense danger and the aura of a person unless they reach the 7th Rank so the others started to hold a conversation with Viktor.

Elves can sense mana that leaks out of the body but Viktor was a demigod who was an expert at controlling mana. (Aka plasma on Arcadia) So around elves, he was seen as the weakest and the easiest target because he wasn’t leaking any mana. To their eyes, Viktor was manaless.

And that’s what the elf in his party thought.

"Hey kid, why are you entering a dungeon when you’re not even awakened?"

The demon flinched at his statement because suddenly, he felt a bone-shaking danger from Viktor. The creepy feeling made him think that he had evaluated his strength wrong. He was a 5th-class enchanter without a doubt.

Viktor looked at the elf who was wearing a Hawaiian shirt unbuttoned. The long wound of the sword on his chest was showing which made him think it was a wound of victory. He was also a 23 years old 3rd rank fighter.

"I am not manaless. I’m just concealing it."

The elf then looked at the unique staff which Viktor held firmly. In his point of view, the staff was oddly oozing an aura but he wasn’t sure what it was. The mana/plasma inside the staff was thick and it was made with highly advanced technology.

The staff also looked expensive in his eyes.

So he grabbed the staff and said, "Give it to me, kid. A manaless kid like you shouldn’t carry a dangerous weapon like this."

The demon next to Viktor nearly fainted because of the danger he was feeling from Viktor when the dumb-headed elf grabbed his staff and pulled it. He nearly pissed his pants but seeing Viktor letting him take the staff made his mind at ease.

In just a second, he fell on the ground because of its weight. It was immovable to him.

The staff was laying flat on the floor even after he struggled to pull it with strength.

"What..what is this thing.. why isn’t it moving!!"

Viktor chucked and picked up the staff with two fingers like picking a pinch of salt.

"Why? Because you’re weak."

For some reason, the demon felt happy about the thing that just happened. Gathering his courage, he finally spoke, "Ahem.. hello. I am Nicole. It’s nice to meet you..s..sir..."

Viktor turned his head towards him and saw it was a demon, the same race as Adonis but a different variant.
