In the realm of demons, technology wasn’t as advanced as in those worlds that had sci-fi themes. But still, it was much more advanced where demons had invented a way to use mana as their daily life energy source instead of using gas.

There were aircraft, airfields in the sky, floating islands but those were naturally formed.

There were flying cars but demons prepared to ride on the ground because they would increase car accidents and invade people’s privacy.

Buildings with holographic screens floating around them, teleportation gates at every stop instead of long-distance subways. People were at their peak of using advanced technology and transportation system.

It was a sci-fi world but in the demon’s eyes, they were living back in their stone age because they couldn’t make their technology more advanced because of fear of an incident that happened a few thousand years ago. Since their great-grandparents had first-hand experience of fighting the angles because they had much more advanced technology back then, they fear that if they invent more, they will come again and destroy everything.

Because of that, the realm of demons looks exactly the same as it was thousands of years ago.

The main attraction of the demon realm was the floating island of the demon king. It was located 30 km above the ground but it was so massive that its shadow would cover a whole city below it. Its gigantic figure is also famous for being the biggest architecture of the demon realm.

They say if one starts to walk from one side to reach the other, it would take him 2 days just to walk across it.

That is where Azazel was going to stay from now on.

After 20 minutes of a short drive, they exited the great forest and took a turn to their right. The forest border was closed by a net and it had numerous warning signs on it. (Beware of Claw Tiger) (Wormholes) (Poisonous Mushroom) etc.

Azazel looked at those signs and then turned to his left. His eyes nearly came out of his skull as he gazed at the view. His heart, which he never felt, started to pump blood in excitement just to see the massive size of those tall tree-like buildings.

They were made of glass and steel. The daylight was still there but the hue of the city which was coming out of the city was brightest.

It was neon blue with a hint of purple and red.

He then gazed at the floating islands and saw they were a city itself and noticed there was floating transportation everywhere.

It was just his carriage which was running on the pitch-black road.

At that moment, Keya looked back and said, "My Lord. We will be reaching the central teleportation gate soon which will lead us to the 2nd floating city. After that, we will take a straight teleportation gate to the castle of our current king."

Azazel cleared his throat and said, "Well, let’s meet your king then."

He again got lost in his thoughts by the mesmerising view and hushed, ’I wish my lord could see this.’

The realm of demons is a separated spiritual planet that has 3 mega continents. Each of them was named after their nature so the city where the king lived was called Volton, and its continent’s name was Vebel.

It was also known as the devildome. It’s surrounded by two oceans and right to it, the other two continents are situated.

The other two continents didn’t have much population so those were announced as monster’s land. Also, they were filled with natural resources so the king built all the factories to prevent the devildome getting affected by any kind of man-made pollution.

Demon realm is a whole planet that had a direct link with Erok. It’s technically Erok’s parasite that lives by eating its mana slowly. It’s not harmful to Erok because the demon realm is too, saving Erok from the sun’s radiation. The demon realm is invisible from Erok because it’s spiritual but it exists so close to the planet that if it was visible, people could see where the two planets were touching eachother’s surface.

Not only that, but Erok is also invisible from the demon realm. It’s the only planet in the entire universe that exists so close to eachother without getting destroyed. It’s one of the wonders of the universe.

Viktor’s POV::

Right after the class started, Viktor noticed a significant change in Akira’s behaviour. He was attentive, confident and showed no hostility towards Viktor. But it was quite the opposite of the hero saint.

She was confident about the charming skill that she used on those assassins. She was hoping to get good news after she came to the academy and even asked some of the teachers about Viktor.

But seeing Viktor walking straight into the class made her sweat.

Viktor intentionally ignored making eye contact with her and decided to continue his lecture. And after a few minutes, she decided to speak because she couldn’t hold her curiosity.

"Professor, I heard you live far away from the town. Don’t you get tired from walking a long distance everyday?"

Viktor stopped drawing the magic circle he was drawing on the board after closing a book loudly.

He then turned back and put the book on the table without answering her question. He stared into her eyes for a few minutes that made her feel unready and decided to speak at last.

"If you’re worried about me, how about inviting me to the royal place as your guest? I am sure your father-in-law would be delighted to have your fellow teacher as his guest of honour."

Without giving her a chance to speak, Akira stood up and agreed with Viktor.

"Yes!! That would be better for us anyway. Our professor is kind enough to give us, the heroes private lessons. Isn’t that right, professor?"

The saint almost dropped her jaw by his behaviour but when she saw the other members of her group agreeing with his opinion, she regretted her action.

Viktor rubbed his chin with his left hand in thought and said, "Private lessons huh? You need the emperor’s permission."

But Akira knew Viktor was already associated with the emperor. Calling him inside the palace means he could keep an eye on him from very close. He didn’t want to let go of the opportunity so without any hesitation, he stood up and proposed to become their private tutor.

Little did they know, Viktor had already manipulated the emperor’s memories and made him his little brother who was supposed to be the emperor.

Due to political matters, Viktor and his little brother went on a mission and never came back. Since it was way before their coming-age ceremony, they were never introduced to the public.

This was only happening in the emperor’s head. According to his memory, Viktor refused to become the emperor despite his monstrous talents, the current emperor kept quiet and gave his brother, Viktor E. North his freedom. It was a great loss but he had nothing to do.

But in reality, Viktor just had to take his book out of his library, erase some useless memories that didn’t have any connection with anyone and fill them with those memories he created. With some sake scenarios as toppings, made the emperor his small brother and made him think Viktor is the rightful owner.

But he hated politics so he gave the crown to him but he added a little condition. ’If I feel like you are not doing your job properly, I will take back what’s mine. Be careful.’

Since the emperor was already under his influence, he was loyal to him as his small brother and would do anything for him since he saved his life multiple times according to his memory.

Even though the emperor had never seen Viktor, the way Viktor rewrote his memory made him think that Viktor comes to his private manor every weekend and will visit him the next weekend.

Since his memories were altered, he ordered his servants to prepare a room for his guest in his palace.

Viktor had a soft smile on his lips as he heard Akira that he’d get permission. Since he had messed up with his brain, Viktor knew he would complete his quest way sooner than he completed the dragon lord’s quest.

He couldn’t wait to see the reaction on the emperor’s face.

Once, a free angel who lived among the god’s in the realm of gods said, ’God is the protector of mankind. The creator of all beings. He might be evil, good or neutral but a god is still a god.

A god isn’t a being that likes to communicate or interact with mortals but if they aren’t loyal or disrupting the flow of nature, a god will take actions and if he did, may the Lord have mercy became other Lords don’t care and will not care even if their follower dies in the process.

If a god decides to play with some fellow mortals, I wish them good luck and would advise them to appreciate the life they’ve lived until the moment the god appears.’

After saying this to a mortal who was about to die after being hit by a truck, he stood up and pulled his soul from a badly wounded body.

It was a grim reaper who was in charge of sending souls to the god of judgement after their end of reincarnation.

The dead young boy’s soul looked at the angel, no, a beautiful grim reaper and said, "So am I getting reincarnated into a fantasy world?"

The boy was a little excited to see the beautiful woman’s face with white wings and a void above her head. For her appearance, the boy mistook her for a god and decided to play along. He again said, "You’re a god, aren’t you? Did you feel bad because I died soon? Did you say all that lord stuff because you felt sad and decided to play with me a little?"

The grim reaper of the God of Judgement opened a magical gate and said, "Jonan, you have finished your renunciation circle and now you’re being escorted to the realm of guardians. You’re confused because of your sudden death but the past life memories will soon come back if you walk past this door. Follow me, we have a big line today."

The young man looked above and saw the sign. "Welcome to the chamber of the Middle Way."

He then gulped a mouthful of saliva and entered the door.
