Chapter 230: Radium The Fat Cat. [Part 2]

’My curiosity has no limitation. The more I discover, the more I want to dig deep, the more I want to create new.

Even after having access to all low-tier genius demigods who invented things that defied the laws of nature, I wanted to create something on my own.’

’Everything I use or made was something created way before I was born. I just read their records and reinvented their creations.

That goes the same for the nectar machine but I’m upgrading it with current technology.

So, I wanted to create something of my own. I looked through all the records again and found out most of them created magic items, magic scrolls, heavenly foods, all of them were related to either weaponry or things that help the mortals or immortals to live a great life.

Except for the god of dungeons.

Since I couldn’t read his records, I had to rely on his former assistant’s to know about his creations. His assistant was undoubtedly a genius. A no-named god keeping his spot as a great god’s assistant wasn’t something easy.

He was selected as his assistant because of his intelligence. But sadly, he was killed because the god of the dungeon saw his limitless potential for growth.

At the end of the tower creation, he was killed and turned into the system itself.

’Yes, the tower system is nothing less but that nameless god’s intelligence. A living AI that controls the tower and the link.

But I didn’t know about this fact until I came to this planet. All I knew was he’s a god and I didn’t pay much attention to it.

Creating the same system that works as the nameless god was nothing but a coincidence.’

’Even so, my technology was far behind the creation of his. His technology was mixed with magic, celestial mathematics and not to mention, his brain itself.’

’Compared to his, my fat cat was just a normal fat cat who ate the internet and earth technology. Radium is nothing but basics in front of the tower system. If the tower system is calculus, my fat cat is 1+1=10.

(Author’s note: Don’t get me wrong. 1+1 is 10 in binary arithmetic -_-.)

’But my cat was also a (monster type) machine. Since it has an infinite mana core, somehow it formed a mind of itself. To nourish its core, I let it loose in the world of the internet and let her eat the hand of the E2 planet girl I took as a payment for her transportation fee-_-.

After that, I let her read those books of genius demigods or gods who died long ago. This is how my fat cat (learned) how to make decisions on its own.

I know it’s dangerous. AI, learning how to act on its own without any support but it was necessary. But it would never betray me since its core was encrypted with a self-destructive spell. If it disobeyed my order, it would explode.

Of course, fat cat have (fear) of losing control. So, I am sure it won’t betray me.’

To analyse Viktor’s current avatar body, he poured his mana into a small cube he made and threw it towards the cat. He was worried about the cat so he told it to backup his memories and run the file in his hard copy system.

The cat understood why he was worried so it made a new copy of itself and went offline before locking its main core inside its mana core.

The moment Radium touched the cube with its face, the cube turned into small pixels and vanished.

After a minute of silence, the floating screen in front of Viktor started to pop up error messages and unlimited information.

"Radium, are you still in control?" Viktor asked with worries mixed in his voice.

^^Radium autopilot system has taken over the control due to interference of an unknown BUG. Getting back online might take a few minutes. Please wait until the system is back online.^^

"Hum? It’s my first time seeing Radium turn on its autopilot system. Radium.."

^^Yes, MASTER. How can I help you?^^

"Can you analyse what type of avatar I am using?"

^^Radium is currently analysing the information you gave. Radium is unable to answer MASTER’s question. Please wait a few minutes before Radium finishes analysing.^^

Viktor turned his focus on the screen in front of him and looked at the red alert messages.

[Radum is under threat]

[An unknown BUG is trying to take over Radium]

[Requests for Factory reset]

[Requests for turning Radium online]

[Radium is under threat]

..

..

..

But Viktor’s eyes were fixed on a small alert message.

[welcome to tower system 009. 009 has sent you a text.]

’A text message. Has the tower found out I’m trying to analyse its data?’

’But I need to check what this is about. Luckily, I made 3 of Radium. I will turn on Uranium and check the text. I can’t afford to lose Radium because it has my favourite dramas and favourite music-_-.’

Viktor opened the glass box where he kept the three robots. He named his 4 robots Uranium, Radium, Polonium and Thorium. He named them using the Radioactive elements because they were magic stones on Earth.

After the earth lost most of its capacity of holding mana, the only four types of magic stone earth had lost their all magical aura, leaving behind the empty vessels.

Soon after they lost their magical power, they turned into Radioactive elements which was neither a blessing nor a curse to mankind. But humans are curious, greedy, dominative and power hungry so most of them used them for making weapons.

Viktor named his robots and also programmed different types of systems for each of them.

..

Uranium was the second invention of Viktor after he made Radium. Uranium was built to take care of potential ’Viruses or ’Forced Interference’. After Viktor created his own language of technology, he used that to build Uranium’s program to aid other systems. It looks like a skinny white cat with green glowing ears and a glowing green tail.

..

Radium was Viktor’s all-in-one robot so he built its shape as a fat-looking cat, matching with Viktor’s eye colour and pale white skin. It was designed to help Viktor to build the nectar machine and process unknown data.

..

The 3rd robot, Polonium, was built to manufacture machines and their parts. Basically, it was a worker machine. But on the outside, it looks like a small German shepherd puppy.

..

And the last one was Thorium. He programmed it to take care of the infinite mana stone manufacturing process. It was also built to (learn) like the other three.

And it looks like a normal black and white house cat. Unlike the others, it doesn’t have glowing features.

But all of them were programmed the same and the only difference they had was their occupation. They were incredibly intelligent, powerful and destructive enough to destroy half of a planet.

...

Viktor took Uranium, the skinny robot cat and said, "Uranium, come back online."

The skinny cat started to float on air as soon as its tail and ears started to glow.

^Good evening, MASTER. Uranium is back online. But why MASTER is using a different body?^

"Radium is finding it out. In the meantime, can you check this text message? It looks suspicious."

^Did Radium catch that text?^

"Yes."

^Then I will open the fill. Please give me a few minutes, MASTER. I need to create a copy and lock my core. I will turn to Autopilot mode, MASTER. After my system finalises the data, I will come back online.^

Viktor kept silent and gave Uranium the text message to it. Since the file was just a text message, it didn’t take much time for Uranium to analyse it.

^^The file has no threat, malware or any type of BUGs. Do you want to view the file?^^

^^Command accepted.^^

^^Turning Uranium back online^^

In the meantime, Radium came back online and said, ^MASTER, when did you turn Uranium on?^

"Welcome back, Radium. How did it go?"

^The file was too large that it took about 10 million watts of mana supply just to kill its BUGs. The question you asked a minute ago. I found the answer.

The avatar you’re currently using is built with bio-nanotechnology. It’s closer to human cloning technique but instead of blood and flesh, the ’Tower system 009’ is using bio-nanotechnology to recreate a carbon copy of your main body. It has a direct connection to your main body consciousness and your fragment core and that’s why you can freely access your dimension room.

I know I am a robot but I need to say that I am surprised.^

Viktor raised his eyebrows and said, "You are what?"

^I am surprised to see someone out there has successfully mixed Biotechnology and nanotechnology with a hint of magic. MASTER, I want you to make a copy of my core and access me to your body that has a connection to the ’Tower system’.^

"No, we should wait a bit. I need to review all the data you just collected. If possible, I need to make a firewall for your core by following their technology so you don’t get deleted."

The fat cat nodded its small head and replied, ^I should go and check what Uranium has. I’m so curious...^

Viktor didn’t pay attention to the cat and downloaded the file into his small ring. Since the tower wasn’t viewing the entire dimension room as Cheat, carrying a cubic laptop won’t be a problem.’

Viktor then wore a small earphone deep into his ear and said, "Uranium, Radium, I’ll be carrying a cube outside now. Uranium, sent me the text message. I’ll see it later."

^Understood, MSATER."

’Now, let’s go outside and make sure to kill those assassins. I’m sure they are pretty confused since they can’t feel my presence in my room.’
