’Why is everything progressing so fast?’ Viktor kept thinking about the devildom. The realm of demons, a parallel world connected with Erok, was waiting for their lord, Viktor, to rule their territory and defeat the heroes. Since demons are a little more impatient and aggressive than humans, they were trying to sneak into the mainland by crossing the border illegally. They were all trying to meet with the lord without even knowing anything about him.

All they knew was that their lord had arrived and was walking around in disguise.

Viktor looked at the ceiling of his bathroom and mumbled underwater, "Why am I not trying to level up... I need to get stronger. I’m getting swept by the tower quests day by day unintentionally..."

He then came outside of his warm bathtub and walked outside the bathroom with a towel. And he heard a scream...

"Kyaaaaaa!!!!"

An unknown demon girl was inside his room.

She covered her eyes but still, there were visible gaps between her finger and eyes. She was staring at Viktor’s chest and pretending to cover her eyes.

"Walking into a man’s room and screaming as if you’re the victim. I guess the daughter of the demon king is pretty stupid."

Her face became red after Viktor said she was stupid. She then said, "Hey!!...I..I am the princess of Devildom..be.. be grateful to have me as your wife.."

"I don’t do political marriages." Viktor replied straight to her face and again said, "How old are you, 6?"

"I...am 6 years old.. so I am almost an adult. I understand why a demon lord is important for our world. But I can’t let an unknown man enter our home. So you have to marry me so I can keep an eye on you all the time!!"

At that moment, Keya rushed inside the room and grabbed the princess by her nape. She then forcefully made her bow in front of him and said, "I apologize for the princess’s stupidity. She’s still a child so please forgive her. I will give my head instead of her."

"K..keya!! Why are you making me bow!! Let go of my head!! Waaaaa!! I will tell everything to my father!!! Why are you making me bow before a naked man!!!"

Viktor’s hair was still wet and he was just wearing a wet towel around his lower body. He was standing before two ladies shamelessly.

But it was them who entered the room of a man when he was taking a shower.

Viktor sighed and said, "Take her outside before I reach my limit. It’s been a long, irritating, restless day so I want to rest. I will go outside after so make sure the house is silent until then."

Viktor glared deep into her soul and again said, "Ah, sent her back to her home. I will have a chat with her father when I am free."

The demon child felt a chill down her spine. Her eyes began to tremble because she felt Viktor’s demonic aura for a second. After she was dragged outside the house, she said, "Keya, why are you aiding that man? He’s not even a human or a demon. He’s far more dangerous than any demons I’ve seen in my entire life."

"Princess, you are a noble person. You know more than anyone how important the demon lord is to the demonkind. He is the symbol of hope, protection and freedom. Just what did you eat in the morning that made you come all the way to the mainland and enter the Lord’s room? And purpose him on top of that?"

"I am worried for my people, that’s why I offered him my hand so he can legally stay in our realm."

"He is the demon lord, princess. He is the law himself. Please don’t do and say anything reckless in front of him from now on if you want to stay alive."

Keya reached the seal of the demon realm and put the princess from her arm. She then grabbed her hand tight and said, "Please don’t let go of my hand, princess. It’s not safe to walk around humans in your real form. You’re very lucky that my house is far away from the human town."

"I’m the princess of devildom. Who’d dare to touch me?"

"Every human will touch you and probably make you a lab rat if you get caught by them. Their nature is filled with curiosity so be careful."

Because they are demons, the seal doesn’t work on them. So they were able to walk right into the dark gate and reach the realm of the demon without any issue.

The realm of demons was different from what humans would think. Naturally, a person will imagine the demon realm to be a red, vast empty landscape with no hint of grass, no rivers, no trees and filled with red monsters.

But it was quite the opposite.

It was filled with more trees than the mainland. The realm of demons was more of a land of elves. There were trees bigger and taller than a huge mountain, wild deer with glowing horns were passing by the river in groups. The water of the river was so transparent that its bottom was visible.

Hundreds of growing green butterflies were flying around the wildflowers all over the place.

It was a land of peace, the world called devildom where the demons live.

Keya then let go of her hand and said, "Please stay close to me. I will escort you back to your palace."

"Okay..."

After waking for an hour by passing through five teleportation gates in the forest, they reached a floating island above a blue lake. It was the palace of the princess below the grand castle of the demon king that floats 33 km above the ground. It’s so high that people rarely see it.

Suddenly, 2 knights appeared in front of them and said, "Princess, we were trying to contact you but your magic device was out of reach. ’Watcher’ Keya. Thank you for bringing the princess back to her house. We would like to bring the princess back to her room because she looks exhausted. But we received a message from the king. It looks like the princess’s arrival on the mainland has reached the king’s ears. He wants your audience immediately.

The princess gulped air into her throat and said, "Um.. My head hurts so bad. Can I not go? Keya, you can tell father that I am sick. I will go to my room now."

One of the knights took a small teleportation device from his pocket and said, "Here you go, Keya. Please escort the princess safely to the king."

Keya then held the princess’s hand and said, "Princess, my mother is your nanny. So as a sister, you don’t want my head to fly off by your father’s sword, right? Now, allow me to escort you to your father’s palace. I am sure he is worried about you."

Keya activated the teleportation device and both of them immediately appeared in front of the king’s office. The king felt his daughter’s presence and ordered one of his knights to tell them to come inside.

The heavy knight opened the door and said, "His majesty has allowed both of you to come inside."

Keya let go of her hand and entered the room. She then knelt in front of his desk and said, "Your majesty, the king. I am Keya Siki. The daughter of the princess’s nanny."

"You’ve grown up pretty well, Keya. Raise your head." He then looked at the princess and said, "Did you really think that I wouldn’t know anything about your movements? Why did you leave devildom without my permission and alone at that? Not only that, you went to see our great lord. Keya, report everything she did."

"She rushed inside the Lord’s room when he was bathing. She screamed in front of him when she saw the Lord’s open skin. She then proposed the lord because she thinks bringing an unknown man into our realm and letting him rule is illegal. That’s why she told him to marry him so she can keep an eye on him. The lord was annoyed so he ordered her to bring her back. He said he doesn’t want to be disturbed because the lord had spent a restless day."

The king became silent. He rubbed his face with both of his hands and said, "Just what have you done, Arlena? Don’t you know what kind of person the lord is?"

"He’s not even a demon. So why do we have to obey the century-old prophecy? I can’t sit back and see someone with an unknown origin ruling our land."

At that moment, the 2nd prince of the demon king became visible on the sofa behind the king’s chair and said, "Father, you made Arlena pretty spoiled."

"Shut your mouth, Cassian. I’m thinking how am I supposed to show my face to our lord after this incident."

"Should I teach her some manners? I’m pretty good at that."

The king suddenly felt a chill from behind. It was his son’s murderous aura, waiting to chew his sister’s skin off from her flesh.

"Cassian, don’t apply your torture techniques on her. Or I will lock you inside your room for 20 years like before."

Cassian grinned at his back. "She’s so precious to you, huh? I can’t believe you have such weakness."

He suddenly appeared behind the princess and grabbed her face with his sharp-nailed fingers. "Ah!! How wonderful! Seeing your baby face makes me want to peel off your skin and smell the flesh underneath."

He then pulled her body closer to him and held his arm. "Father, I can’t believe your 3rd wife gave birth to a rat. I still wonder what made you keep this weakling alive and let her walk around. Not only that, you ordered your shadow guards to protect her 24 hours a day. Unlike us who survives in this house by depending on our strength, she’s living a great life like a princess without worrying about anything, huh?"

The king had nothing to say.

Cassian then felt a sharp murderous intent from his back. "Keya, don’t you think it’s odd? How desperately the king is trying to guard her without showing her how harsh the world is? She has become so spoiled that she dared to enter the Lord’s room and told him to marry her. She’s so lucky that she’s back alive. Don’t you think it’s time for her to teach the way of this household?"

The king said, "Yes, she has crossed the line this time. Keya, take her to the blank room."

"Father! What are you even saying? Isn’t it great that I asked that odd human to become my husband since he is going to rule our land? I am the only daughter of the royal family. So isn’t it great?"

The king said, "For the sake of your safety, you have to start receiving your education. Cassian, get your fingers off her face."

Cassian gave off an evil grin at her and slowly removed his hand from her face. "Well then, see you in the classroom, bug."
