In the world called Erok, the Magus continent is famous for its labyrinths, dungeons and powerful magicians. Since the beginning of Erok’s history, humans and demons have been living together as equals. They are the same race as Adonis’s race but with black tails and sharp small horns on their head. They have pointy ears and their skin colour is the same as humans.

But they are stronger than humankind and they hold more knowledge, treasure and technology than humankind. After the angels caused destruction on Erok, demons realised that technology is a kind of cheat so they removed everything from the land and took them somewhere where they are currently living. They are guarding it so no human can cross the border or their territory and reclaim all.

Some years after the great destruction of Romos’ continent, a girl was born in the womb of the demon queen. It was when the saint was born in human land and she also had the ability to see through the future.

She didn’t live long and gave a prophecy to the demonkind before her death.

’The day the human king will summon the heroes from the other world, the demon lord will set foot in the land as well. He will be human, but he will hold demonic power that surpasses any demons of the universe. He will guide us, take care of us and save us from the curse of the angels. He will defeat the heroes and close the door that connects Erok and the land of heavenly angels. Follow him when he rises and don’t hesitate to sacrifice yourself if he needs it. He is the savour of our kind.’

These words were written on every wall of the castle walls after the princess died and it became the centre of various studies.

Since the demon lord was supposed to appear when the human king summoned the heroes, elite soldiers of the demon king were assigned to go outside by using a magic item and spy on every king on the planet.

Not even a tiny island king was left behind to get spied on by the demons.

After 4 thousand years of a long search, Romos’ new prince was born. Apparently, his nanny happened to be a spy demon. She took care of the prince since his birth and then, she noticed something.

The prince was interested in ancient Romos’ language and its lost labyrinths and technology. After his 15th birthday, he found out that it really existed along with the race named Demons and he made up his mind.

He said, "I will search for the labyrinths and reclaim what’s ours. I will kill all the demons who stole everything from us and summon heroes if needed."

His words spread in the land of demons quickly and eventually, they reached the new demon king’s ears. He quickly sent two thousand soldiers in human illusion magic and before the prince’s crowning ceremony, 10% of Romos’ population became demons.

After the king died, the crown prince ’Alvarnos Alex’ became the new king of Romos and summoned the heroes after 2 years of non-stop hard work. Soon, all the demons on the mainland started to gather in one place around the heroes and kept searching for the demon lord who was supposed to appear. But they couldn’t find him because the demon lord was a human.

In just a week of the heroes summons, the demons spread in every corner of Romos. Imperial palaces, temples, guilds, markets, and academies, were roaming in every corner of Romos to find the demon lord to follow him.

That’s why, Keya was on her knees in front of Viktor after he showed his link to Adonis. He was too shocked to hear that she called him the demon lord.

He then said, "Keya, what do you mean by I’m the demon lord?"

"The princess’ prophecy can never be false. We have been looking for you for so many years, my lord. Please guide us to the right path. We are still letting the heroes do whatever they want because we believe you will appear soon."

Viktor rubbed his face with both of his hands after seeing the floating screen in front of him.

Viktor looked at the floating screen through the gap of his fingers and said, "Looks like I have to rule a whole race now. I miss my bed now."

Viktor then looked at the option where his dimensional pocket was showing it was available. Since some of his restrictions went out, the dimension pocket let him use those items when he used the pocket at first.

Those items were some healing potion that he made in Vestrain, some herbs, magic books, some old clothes he bought from Vestrain and the pool of ’tear pearls’ of Adonis. After that, his dimension pocket wasn’t letting him open and use more items he stored.

He then looked at Keya and said, "Tell me why the king has summoned heroes?"

"To kill us, the demons and reclaim the technology we have sealed deep inside our parallel land. We are also not allowed to use them because we want Erok to be saved from the danger of the angels’ curse. Since the heroes hold the knowledge of their world, we are afraid that they might find the way to our land. We are stronger than any human on this land but the heroes possess power that surpasses any demons on Erok. We need the demon lord to save us."

Viktor told her to stand up and said, "I don’t know if it’s a coincidence or planned, but I am sure this might have a clue to the connection to the tower. Keya, I want you to keep quiet until I start my career as a predecessor at Syford Academy. Then, I will slowly introduce myself to everyone. I will go to your territory by myself after that to rest assured. Because my life is on the line too. I can’t afford to waste any time."

Keya’s eyes became bright and replied, "My lord, where are you going to live from now on? I believe you’ve already prepared for that. The road to our territory and Erko is long. I’m afraid you won’t be able to travel from there to here daily."

"Sadly, I don’t have a place to stay yet. I just bought a piece of land a few hours ago in the forest. I’m planning to build a house there."

Akira’s POV(One of the summoned heroes) :

’My name is Akira, a 19-year-old freshman at ’X’ College. The place where I lived is called Japan, a country that recently discovered gold under its sea. I am a weeb who enjoys manga and anime. But I’m also famous in school because my grades are always on top. I’m good at sports too.

Every morning when I wake up, I stare at my Bunny girl figure for 10 minutes because she is so beautiful. But today, something is different.

"Hero Akira, please wake up. The sun is up."

’I looked at beautiful, sexy maids instead of Bunny girl figure calling me for breakfast in the morning.’

’It’s been more than three weeks since I came to Erok with the study group I made. They are all elite from different schools and luckily, they happened to follow me as their captain because they know nothing about the magic world and I’m the only one who was a weeb in that group.’

’I still remember the day we suddenly appeared in a huge room. There were so many people in white robes and they were happy for some reason. We naturally understood their language for the presence of mana inside our bodies. But it’s only limited to the Romos language.

When the king said he was happy to have us as heroes, I asked him about the demon lord out of curiosity. He was surprised and said the heroes are really heroes who understand the needs of Romos without any hint. After that, a noble title was added to our name, we were introduced as heroes all over the country and also, we were told to attain Syford Academy to study more about magic and swordsman.’

Everything was going great until Izumi started to flirt with the crown prince. All of us started to rot from the core after they were gifted with power. But since I have the title ’The Great Hero’, they treat me as their guardian and do whatever they want with their power.’

’After coming here, I’ve noticed something. In this world, they don’t have any hint of metallic technology. Uzumi is great at magic so she tried to make a radio with her knowledge a few days ago but sadly, it didn’t work. The same goes for a lightbulb.’

’On the 18th day of my summon, I started to learn why we were summoned and realised something. This world is under some kind of surveillance that doesn’t allow any technology. It wants the world to stay the same as it is. History said demons stole everything and hid them in their land. The only way there is to open the seal.’

’Now the king wants us to defeat the demon lord who is guarding the items and technologies and bring them back to the mainland. But my hyper instinct is telling me to run away. This is something that a normal human can do. The demon lord is not just a demon lord. There are more stores behind it. I don’t think the demons are the bad people here.’

Akira then looked at the letter on the table. It came from the academy so he opened it and saw he passed the exam. His life as a student in a magic school was about to begin.
