Challenger tower, a fantasy game-like place where people called hunters or players climb to obtain otherworldly items and to gain their level. This type of tower exists in so many multiverses except earth because the earth has nearly lost its ability to hold mana.

As the mortal realm’s logic, the tower works the same. But there are some differences between a mortal realm’s tower and a heavenly realm tower.

The tower inside the sky realm only takes one person in and closes its door. The challenge may take more than a few decades and the challenger can only come out once he finishes the 30th floor. Before that, he can not come out.

The only way out of a tower without completing the quest is suicide.

Moreover, the tower does not allow parties. It’s a place where only one person can enter and continue his adventure. It’s more like a place where the god of dungeons tests others to pick up his worthy heir. Only a handful of people know about this, including Viktor.

Why? Because he knows the future.

’But he will be pretty mad if he sees a punk from the mortal world complete the tower in less than a century. Usually, the gods and demigods who are born in the realm of gods have a different understanding of time. Since I have the mind of a mortal, a day is a long time. A year is a huge amount of time. But to a god or a demigod who is born here, a year is a day to him. Unlike the other gods and demigods, I didn’t go through my full reincarnation circle. It’s my 3rd reincarnation so my mind is also not a mess. I can work effectively without any emotional stress and I don’t have to deal with those immortals who were my past life relatives.’

It was the day when the war finally ended. Kobayashi was victorious and for that, he took over the land of Tali along with the other great god’s land and sent them to their reincarnation circles again. He threw a big celebration and called all of his allies and his troops.

Of course, he hid his relationship with Viktor because it was a top-secret quest. He hid the fact that his territory was in danger and he was receiving help from somehow less powerful but very repeatable.

Viktor smirked at Kobayashi because of his cleverness. He then took a full bottle of wine from the dining table and went outside from a huge camp.

He then sat beside the great lake of Helsia and poured a glass. The moons were shining bright in the dazzling purple sky so he said, "What a great night. I wonder what the stars would look like if I went above."

He sighed and then said, "Adonis, you can always join me, you know. Don’t just stand there. Come and take a seat."

Adonis walked outside from a shadow and said, "You’re so generous, master."

"I am just offering a glass of wine to my brother." He then poured a glass full of golden wine and said, "Here. This was stolen from Tali’s secret vault."

Adonis looked at the bottle and realised that it was the same as those he stole from Tali’s place. He had missed a room to loot. He was also surprised that Viktor had also looted his place before him. He just picked up the leftovers of Viktor.

Adonis chuckled and said, "When did you go to loot his place?"

"Oh, I went there with you. You were so busy looting everything that I thought it would be bad if I disturbed you. You didn’t even notice me behind you, heheh. It was a nice harvest after all."

Adonis sighed and said, "I showed an embarrassing side of mine in front of you, master. Forgive me."

"Ah, don’t apologise. It’s okay. We are just enjoying ourselves after all." Viktor again said, "Let’s forget everything and cheer for our future now. Shall we?"

Adonis smiled and clink his glass against Viktor’s. "Cheers to our unknown future."

"Cheers.."

At that moment, Yir, the archangel approached them and stopped behind them. He looked at both of them sitting next to each other and drinking without any discrimination. If anyone were to see that, they can never guess they were master and servant.

Yir just stood there and looked at their friendly relationship while thinking about his. He was never treated like that when he was Elesis’s servant and now, he was abandoned.

Viktor turned around and said, "Yir, do you want to join?"

He was startled a bit after hearing that. He then said, "Me?"

Adonis also looked back and said, "Yes, you. Damn broiler. Come here."

Viktor held his laughter because Adonis called him broiler. He then said, "Oi, what kind of name is that?"

Adonis pouted and replied with a smirk, "He looks like one so is that my fault, master?"

"Bwahahah!!!!!!"

Yir then approached them and asked Adonis, "I don’t mind Adonis giving me any name. I am rather grateful for receiving such a unique name. Broiler."

"Ahahaha!!!!!!Aaaahahahahah!!!!" Viktor fell from the huge boulder where he was sitting and drinking his wine. Adonis then dragged him back to the boulder from the ground and said, "You’re ruining your shirt, master!"

"Oi Yir, do you even know what broiler means? Adonis is making fun of you. Boiler means a ch..mmmphh!!!"

Adonis grabbed his mouth tightly and said, "Yir, don’t pay attention to what he says okay? Let’s drink now. And don’t tell anyone that I gave you a nickname, okay?"

Yir’s eyes were glowing because he received a secret name from the person he liked. Since angels don’t have any gender, it was okay for him to like anyone despite their gender. But in Viktor’s eyes, he looked like a freaking g*y for his masculine appearance even though he knows that angels can change into any gender depending on their partner.

Viktor then gave Yir a glass of golden sparkling wine and said, "Forget about your master. Let’s just drink until the sun rises. Cheers everyone!!"

"Cheers..."

’Now then, it’s time for me to do strategy work.’

After they finished drinking, Viktor ordered Adonis to drag everyone inside their camp by ear. He ordered him to do that because they were standing out in front of Kobayashi’s companions too much.

Kobayashi might be a good god but his companions were not. They were cruel, clever and they were so advantageous that they wouldn’t even hesitate to stab Kobayashi’s back if they saw it open. They were secretly trying to dig up their past and then, Adonis appeared.

Without answering any of their questions, he dragged the three of them inside Viktor’s camp. "Master, I’ve bought them here. Should I punish them a little?"

"No, please don’t. They are drunk so let them drink this potion."

Viktor gave Adonis a blue potion and said, "Here, help them drink this." But Adonis was on another level. Instead of helping them to drink, he put the small potion vial inside their nostrils ruthlessly. All of them started to choke and came back to their senses quickly because of the wave of potion entering through their nose.

It was a painful experience but it works efficiently.

Ifrit screamed, "Adonis!! What the hell!!!"

"Good morning Ifrit. Did you get a nice sleep?" Adonis looked at him with an evil grin and again said, "Did you like the potion?"

Ifrit threw the empty vial away after pulling it out from his nostril and said, "Potion my ass!! It nearly went inside my brain!"

"Oh, then excuse me for my lack of manners. You see, master has been calling everyone for 3 days and you punks are playing around without any hint of what is going on around you."

Viktor then approached and said, "Come on Adonis, don’t scare him like that. Look at him, he looks like he’s about to pee any minute."

"Oi!! Who is scared!! My nose is still stinging inside because of Adonis, that’s why my tears are coming out."

"That’s sad. Anyway, you guys were nearly becoming slaves of those friends of Kobayashi. They put drugs in your drink so they can make you their pet. Bastards, this isn’t earth. Keep your eyes open."

Ifrit was speechless to hear that someone drugged his drink. Moreover, he was surprised that Viktor had the antidote to such drugs that he had never seen.

Ifrit then shook his head and said, "I guess I am lucky." Then he looked beside him and saw Welis knocked out on the ground with a potion vial sticking inside her nostril.

He said, "She is miserable..."

Viktor took out the vial sticking inside Mors’ nostril and said, "Adonis, was that necessary?"

"I was merely punishing them, master."

He sighed in exhaustion and said, "Wake them up, I want to hold a meeting."

"Understood, master."

’Let’s see how they would react after hearing that I will be challenging the tower tomorrow.’
