Chapter 190: Business deal

Somewhere in a castle in the middle of nowhere.

Delkira walked inside the hall room with a box in his hand. The servants around him started to chatter and then, he spotted the minister talking about him. Delkira paid no attention to that and walked straight in front of the king’s throne.

"My lord, I have arrived." Delkira knelt in front of him and placed the box in front of the stairs. "Sir Viktor has sent your gift back."

At that moment, a white-haired boy with red ruby eyes laughed from the side of the hall room and said, "As expected of Elerous, he is shy and timid as ever."

Lucifer raised his hand and ordered the crowd to be silent. He then again said, "I don’t think he just rejected my gift. I believe he has sent me something else. Isn’t that right?"

Delkira said nothing and took the letter out of his pocket. He then said, "Sir Viktor has sent you this letter along with a gift inside this box."

The crowd inside the hall room again started to chatter in curiosity and ordered Delkira to open the box. But Delkira didn’t have permission to open it so he said, "My lord, I think you should see this."

Delkira took the box near him and put that box on the table. He then said, "Please. Go ahead."

Lucifer opened the box and became stunned. He looked at the small five mana cores beside his big and blurry mana cores in curiosity. Undoubtedly, the small mana cores were much stronger and more sturdy than those naturally found in nature. He was more surprised that one mana core was equal to twenty mana cores and they were more effective.

Lucifer gave off an evil smile. He then said, "The letter. Give it to me."

Delkira handed him the letter and said, "Here it is, my lord." He then again said, "My lord, should I prepare a separate room? There are eyes everywhere."

The crowd wanted to see what was inside the box so they were making a fuss about it. Also, they were curious about what the letter contained.

Elesis was also curious so he looked at the letter to read what it was about. Since he was a demigod of knowledge, looking into non-living things was his speciality. But when he used his magic on him, Lucifer immediately cut off the connection and looked at Elesis. He said, "Peaking is a bad habit, Elesis. If you’re that curious about it, go and ask your brother."

Elesis bowed his head and said, "I apologies, my lord."

Lucifer then teleported somewhere with the box along with the letter inside his room and started to laugh.

He screamed, "I’ve lived a damn long life where the other king gods don’t even pay attention to me! None of them even invites me to a tea party because I’m evil!! And out of nowhere, an ant sent me a letter that he wants to become my supplier. And for exchange, he wants nectar!!! Aahahaha!!!!"

He again said, "Does he even know what nectar is!! It’s hella expensive even in the realm of gods. It’s the essence of the world tree that gives life force to all living beings. And he wants me to give him that?? How 0!!"

He then tore the letter and said, "Well then. I will gladly give you nectar if you keep sending me those tasty mana cores. I don’t even need nectar even though it’s expensive. I need mana cores to extend my dominance!! Delkira!!!"

Delkira appeared out of nowhere and knelt in front of him."I’m here at your service, my lord."

"Prepare a nectar bottle. We will pay him a visit soon. He’s our special guest after all. Send him an approval letter. We will have a chat after he replies."

Nectar. A heavenly essence of the world trees fruits that supply an extreme amount of life force to the consumer. It’s so rare that even king gods get to drink it once in a million years. It’s rich and powerful and it boosts the god’s physical strength to a higher level.

Although it doesn’t help a god or a demigod to cultivate their Qi, it helps to improve their Qi core.

Also, it’s a kind of drug that makes a god go crazy if he drinks it twice in 10 years. So technically, it’s a drug to all gods.

Viktor requested nectar from Lucifer because he had the most bottles of it. Since he doesn’t need nectar to boost his stealth, he just stored it in his castle.

But only Viktor knows how to use nectar. He knew how to turn nectar into a potion that can retrieve dead gods and that’s why he needed that.

It was like an S-class miracle potion to god.

Nectar potion was popular in ancient times. When the first god was created, he was supplied with a nectar potion to grow stronger. Slowly, the realm of gods expanded and the need for nectar potions grew. This caused a war and thus, the recipe for that potion was lost. After that, an unknown god erased the memories of everyone who knew about the potion and forcefully reduced the tree to shrunk so that it doesn’t bear much fruit.

He knew it wasn’t good for the gods so he also took every hidden potion from the realm of gods and threw it inside the void.

The void wasn’t satisfied but it also didn’t say anything. The unknown god then left the realm and started to journey to the unknown.

’But I’m so lucky that the last one who held the recipe was a low-class demigod. But I couldn’t understand why that unknown person took all the potion and left? I didn’t even know that there was an exit to get out of the realm of gods. I’m learning something new everyday.’

But Viktor was so curious. He wanted to know what exists outside the realm so he looked through the ancient lower god’s record. He found a person who opened an unknown gate at the edge of a realm and went inside of nothing. He knew besides that door, nothing exists so how did he just walk in?

’This is interesting. I know that everything came from the void. Void is supposed to be something empty that consumes everything like a blackhole. But how can a person just walk in front of it like entering a room?’

Viktor again looked at that man who was entering through the door and the door just suddenly vanished. Where does it lead? Where is the void? What is void?

Thousands of questions started to rush inside his head and began to mess up. He then closed the book so hard and threw it towards the bookshelf.

"Aaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!"

Viktor rushed out of his library realm and sat near the great lake of Helsia in the middle of Kobayashi’s territory. He then looked at the fish swimming around his legs below the water.

’They look tasty...’

At that moment, Adonis approached him and said, "Welcome back, master. It’s a great day, isn’t it? The sun shines bright here compared to earth and on the other planets. Yet it’s so comfortable and harmless."

"Take a seat, Adonis. It will be a waste if you don’t enjoy this."

"Yes, master."

Adonis sat beside Viktor and took off his shoes. He then put his legs inside the water to bathe his feet. "It’s cold, master."

"Yes, it’s cold. But ticklish. I can even see the surface of this huge lake."

Viktor closed his eyes and felt the cold water tickling around his feet. The small fishes were attracted by his pale feet so they came and started to swim around them.

Viktor then looked below and mumbled, ’I’m not your food, fish. Go away!! Shoo!"

Viktor moved his feet quickly to drive them away and said, "Adonis, what do you think about this place?"

Adonis looked at him and answered, "This place is beautiful. But for some reason, I want to climb above and reach the realm of gods. I don’t know why but that’s what my instincts are saying."

"Yes, I have this odd feeling too. I want to go above too. But before that, we have so many things to do. Our journey has just started."

"Yes, master. It’s only the beginning."

Viktor then stood up and said, "Get ready. We are going to visit Tali’s place with Kobayashi pretending to be his servant. We have some business with him about his territorial matters."

"Is something wrong with Kobayashi’s territory?"

Viktor nodded his head and said, "For a few months, Tali has been taking a small amount of land very slowly. He thought that Kobayashi won’t notice because he barely comes to Helsia. Also, he trespasses here so Kobayashi isn’t happy with it. So we will be going too to see his castle. I also have some business to do."

"As you wish, master. Then should I tell others to wait? Since we will be leaving this place soon, they should visit some places."

"Okay, get ready in an hour. We will be leaving soon."

"Understood."

Adonis vanished in front of him right after he finished his sentence by leaving Viktor all alone. He quickly went over to the camp to inform everyone and then, he saw some guards pointing their spears at them.

"Trespassers of the great lord, Tali’s territory. You are arrested for harming the vineyard and for setting a secret hideout in his mighty territory!"

Adonis partly closed his eyes and complained, "Who’s trespassing who’s territory-_-?"
