Chapter 161: Uncle Aegis
"Wake him up," he ordered, his eyes darkening.
"How are we supposed to do that?"
"Can you not do that?’ Oberon creased his brows.
"No, I have no idea. She said," he pointed to Risa, "she had showed him a mirror and then he went unconscious. What should I do with that?"
Oberon arched his brow, and stared at Aegis on the floor, "interesting," he muttered.
"I want to be alone with them," he waved his hands.
They all bowed, and left the throne room.
Oberon stood up, and walked to Aegis’s body, he gently kicked at him, but still he didn’t move.
"He is not dead yet, he is still breathing.. then what is the meaning of this?" He gritted his teeth.
He looked at the guards who stared back at him with expressionless looks.
He groaned, "You all should stop sulking now. Just wake him up," he rolled his eyes, getting irked already.
"Why do you need our help? You ungrateful rude child!" Kaid spat at him.
"Now you remember I am a child," his smile widened, "Well, this child does not plan on being so grateful any time soon!" The look in his eyes turned cold, "Now, wake him up."
Faunana tightened his lips, "You could try breaking the mirror," he grumbled.
Oberon’s lips turned downwards, "I do not even know the particular mirror," he grunted.
"The one in Risa’s room," Faunana rolled his eyes.
"Oh," Oberon put his hands behind him, "Interesting... I suppose he is in a trance."
"What do you want from us already? You already have Aegis in a trance, what else do you want?"
"I want your throats," he said plainly.
"Such an ingrate! We watched you grow up! And this is how you treat us in return?!" Nox yelled at him again.
"You killed my father," he clenched his fists.
"That was because he did not deserve to he king!" Nox added furiously.
His face turned bright red, "You did not deserve to say that," he growled. His claws extended. He took large strides towards Nox, and with one slash, he slit Nox’s throat inflicting deep gashes on him.
The rest gasped loudly, "What?"
He took a deep breath, his claws dripping with blood.
"That is one gone," he smiled.
"You are such a..". Faunana couldn’t find his words. His eyes darted over to Nox whose throat was hanging low, with blood dripping all over Gleipnir’s chain.
’How powerful are his claws?’ Kaid thought to himself, ’I thought he could not fathom the fact he was a Lycan?’
He coughed slightly, "Well, without wasting so much time, let me go get that mirror," he licked the blood on his claws as if they were the blood of some kind of prey.
"What are you doing?" Kaid screamed.
Oberon swallowed, and grinned after doing so, "Tastes much better than sheep," he muttered to himself, and walked out of the room leaving the guards still bound, and looking for a solution.
He walked gently through the hallway, finding Risa’s room.
"Now, where is that room of hers?" He grunted.
"I should not be doing this," he told himself, "this is taking too much time," he bit his lips.
He passed by a room, but stopped. His senses had been tingled.
"That smell," he licked his teeth, and turned on his heels. The pheromone was strong, and he could feel it in the air.
"Damn.. what must have happened?" He tilted his head, and entered the room. His eyes landed on the mirror that was across him, "Oh, there it is," he retorted groggily.
He lazily dragged himself to the mirror, and with one blow, smashed it.
"That should do it," he sneered, walked back to the door, and headed back to the throne room.

"What happened?" Aegis coughed, and looked around, trying to put pieces together.
He turned on his side, and saw his guards all bound up. As if something had pricked him, he quickly got up, "What happened to you all?"
"It is simple. Your nephew won," Faunana gritted his teeth.
"He.. was the one? What? How? How can a child win a battle against you? He does not even realize he is a.."
"Oh, do not be so foolish now Aegis. He does know he is a Lycan, very well."
Aegis stood there, gawking in disbelief, "How?" His eyes fell on Nox.
"What happened to him?"
"He slit his throat open. Haha," Faunana responded, obviously irritated by Aegis’s presence, and his annoying questions.
"This can not be! You are just a bunch of weaklings! Shame on you!"
"You might want to keep your stupid insults to yourself you loser!" Kaid shut him up.
Aegis blinked his eyes in realization, he had clearly lost, and if his nephew came for him, he would be finished.
"Oh my goodness, I have to find a way, and get out of here," he looked around.
"Oh, there is no escaping for you. You are stuck with us," Faunana groused.
Aegis sneered at him, "Watch me leave."
"Is that it? You are going to leave us here? After all we did for you Aegis?"
"I do not need you anyways. Who would want to be with a pack of weaklings who can not even stand a child?"
He quickly headed to the door, but bumped into Oberon.
"Going somewhere?" He grinned in a way that creeped Aegis out.
"What do you want? Leave me alone!"
"Oh, I am not doing anything to you," he laughed softly, "Be calm. You are in safe hands," his claws retracted.
"You are such an ungrateful child! I am your uncle Oberon!"
"You never remembered I was your nephew, did you?"
"That is because, your father would not let have what I was supposed to have!"
"That is because you would have been a very terrible ru..." He stopped, and blinked.
He had not right to call his uncle a terrible ruler, he had been a terrible ruler too.
He exhaled deeply, "That was supposed to be between you, and your father. Why did you have to take it out on my father and I?"
Aegis clenched his fists, "You.. you.." he looked away, trying to push back the tears that was threatening to fall.
"You are right," his shoulders drooped, "I would have been a terrible ruler."
