Chapter 285: Chapter 281 Aftermath

Leon had completely consumed Cecilia, leaving not a single trace behind.

Compared to the limited options in Dragon Form, Leon much preferred being in human form, especially since Cecilia was very willing to cooperate with him. Whether it was a uniform or a particular position... newcomers who wished to surpass the predecessors would have to put in even more effort.

In such circumstances, Leon, who had just entered his young dragon phase and was brimming with vitality, couldn’t hold back. The eventual result was that even a dragon could grow tired. He held Cecilia’s soft body afterward and fell into a deep sleep until bright daylight the next day.

When Leon woke up, he found that Cecilia had already been awake for some time. Though possessing the extraordinary recovery capability of a dragon, her skin was still dotted with red marks. Leaning her face to the side as she lay next to him, she asked, "When did you wake up?"

"Been awake for a while now," Cecilia replied. "I noticed that my master sleeps so soundly... so soundly that you’d better be wary of enemies sneaking up on you."

"This is my domain... You can guess how many Magic Traps are here. Sneak up on me?" Leon rolled lazily on the bed; he hadn’t completely cleared his grogginess yet.

"Outsiders can’t sneak up on you here, but your bedside companion can," Cecilia’s eyes suddenly turned into vertical pupils, and her slightly parted lips revealed two sharp fangs, resembling a venomous snake.

Leon turned his head to look at Cecilia and said, "My bedside companion could sneak up on me, but I trust my judgment... Would Cecilia ever betray me?"

"Of course not," Cecilia rested her cheek on Leon’s chest. "I would never betray my master."

Leon chuckled, neither affirming nor negating her words.

Cecilia didn’t dwell on his attitude and suddenly laughed, saying, "Has my master decided how to deal with Tassera yet?"

"There’s no need to deal with her," Leon replied indifferently. "She permits me to have other partners."

"The heart of a woman is fathomless; women are the most jealous beings. She said that, and you truly believe her?" Cecilia chuckled, pressing on Leon’s chest. "I don’t mind at all. As long as I have a place in my master’s heart, I’m satisfied."

"She’s a woman, and you’re also a woman," Leon glanced at Cecilia and said, "She said that, and I shouldn’t trust it. But you say this, and I should believe it?"

"Of course you can believe me. I can prove myself," Cecilia said. "If my master wishes, I can help master deal with Fiora—that foolish bronze dragon."

"She hasn’t bothered you, has she?" Leon retorted.

"Well, I’m an Evil Dragon; I’m a bad woman, aren’t I?" Cecilia giggled. "What does my master think?"

"Forget it," Leon said. "That fool of a lady doesn’t interest me at the moment."

"Besides, if I really wanted to, I wouldn’t need your help. I could easily trick her into my bed," Leon declared with confidence.

"Fiora is a bronze dragon, and among bronze dragons, courtship and mating are always cautious and well-mannered affairs. It’s not that easy to deceive her into bed, master," Cecilia remarked. "But if my master dedicates some effort, I’m sure master could win her over."

Leon hesitated briefly and then wrapped his arms around Cecilia, saying, "To be honest, Green Dragons surely have earned their reputation for loving intrigue... Isn’t this the moment for sweet nothings and tender affection? Why are you constantly scheming this and plotting that?"

"I’m doing it all for master..." Cecilia laughed, and even she wasn’t sure why she had no interest in those mundane matters.

Before long, their stomachs began growling, and Leon headed off to take a bath.

Though he said he didn’t care, Leon was actually quite concerned about Tassera’s feelings. Tassera might be an Evil Dragon, but she had never caused him any trouble.

On the other hand, as a transmigrator, Leon subconsciously still adhered to the notion of monogamy, believing that maintaining a harem was wrong. He felt a bit guilty toward Tassera, so as he stepped out of the bathroom and returned to the room, he couldn’t help but ask, "Tassera wouldn’t be overly nitpicky, but she surely wouldn’t be happy. What do you think about giving her a Youthful Appearance Pill?"

Every Heavenly Immortal Pill required an enormous amount of rare alchemy materials. Even Leon hadn’t had many opportunities to refine such pills.

Human Elixirs didn’t demand such extreme alchemy materials or high flames and didn’t require Anglistra’s assistance. When Leon had free time, he refined all the Human Elixirs in one batch.

Most Human Elixirs had their substitutes in this world, but the Youthful Appearance Pill was quite special. However, the alchemy materials it required were exceedingly rare, making mass production impossible. It wasn’t suitable for sale, but it was just perfect for use as a gift. No woman could refuse it.

"What’s a Youthful Appearance Pill?" Cecilia squinted slightly upon hearing Leon’s words. "What does that pill do?"

"Beautify, preserve youth, and resist aging," Leon replied, thinking that the Youthful Appearance Pill, being a Human Elixir, couldn’t grant eternal youth.

"I want it," Cecilia reached out her hand toward Leon.

"I’m asking whether it would be suitable to give that pill to Tassera. She’s a True Dragon; she wouldn’t age so easily, right? Preserving youth shouldn’t matter that much to her," Leon said. "I wasn’t asking you if you wanted one."

Cecilia’s lips twitched.

"Judging by your reaction, she might indeed have some interest in the Youthful Appearance Pill," Leon said with a smile as he looked at Cecilia. "Alright, alright, I get it. If you want one, I can spare a pill for you."

Cecilia’s anger subsided a bit upon hearing this. She could tolerate favoritism but not a disparity that was too extreme.

After sharing some tender moments, Cecilia left with awkward steps, causing the Tiefling maids who saw her to secretly click their tongues. In truth, they desired Leon’s favor as well, but they now realized they’d have to consider their survival odds. After sitting for a while, Leon headed to the Mage Tower to find Tassera.

Leon subtly brought up his situation with Cecilia. It was clear that Tassera had anticipated this day and made little fuss, accepting Leon’s gift and signaling that the issue was resolved.

Because of Cecilia’s presence, Tassera now paid more attention to Leon and didn’t spend her days holed up in the Mage Tower doing research or studying. She sought Leon out quite often.

Overall, Cecilia’s intimacy didn’t bring too much change to Leon’s life. Cecilia continued as usual, not becoming presumptuous or demanding more power because of their closer bond.

Neither Tassera nor Cecilia caused Leon any trouble, but having consumed so many Heavenly Immortal Pills, teenage dragon-turned-young dragon Leon found himself yearning to stir up some trouble.
