Chapter 586: Chapter 586 The Beginning of the Next Reunion

Gu Shuangshuang didn’t make a fuss and, lifting her face, cheerfully said to him, "Remember to get the rabies vaccine."

"What?"

"It’s the preventative shot you have to get after being bitten by a dog."

Tian Niu laughed heartily, "I was just joking, do you really think of yourself as a dog?"

"I’m not joking with you," Gu Shuangshuang shrugged and turned away, walking off.

Tian Dandan watched the scene unfold, feeling a sour discomfort in her heart. Gu Shuangshuang came to declare her claim in front of her.

Looking at their sweet interaction, every corner of the camp leader’s eyes and brows spelled ’doting.’

This is what liking someone is all about!

As Tian Dandan, feeling dejected, was about to leave, she heard Tian Niu ask her, "Xiaotian, is what Shuangshuang said true?"

Do I really have to get an injection?

Tian Dandan nodded, "Human saliva also contains viruses. If you don’t get the shot, I can help you disinfect. It’s not that big of a deal, really."

"Then... let’s go. It’s troubling you again." This girl, she really made him remember her clearly.

Seeing the scar on his wrist, he would remember Gu Shuangshuang.

....................................

An Hao had already secured her train ticket. The day before she was to depart, Qin Jian had planned to return with An Hao, but unexpectedly, last-minute military matters came up and he couldn’t leave.

Although An Hao felt somewhat gloomy and lost, as a soldier, Qin Jian could only obey the orders of his unit.

Early the next morning, An Hao got up early, cleaned the house, packed her belongings, and made one last breakfast for Qin Jian before leaving.

Although neither of them said anything, An Hao did know that it might be half a year before they could see each other again after this separation.

After breakfast, Qin Jian escorted An Hao to the train station, and as soon as they descended the stairs, they saw Zhang Guifang and Mei Ying had come to see her off.

Despite the short time they had together, apart from the vexing incidents, there were still many beautiful memories left behind.

Perhaps these people were just passing through her life, but the memories they left could be treasured for a lifetime, never to fade.

An Hao said goodbye to them and, as she was about to get on the train, she saw Feng Chunhua standing timidly at the entrance of the corridor, looking at her.

Feng Chunhua had caused her harm before, and An Hao didn’t want to bother with her.

She didn’t have such a broad heart as to act like those distressing events had never happened.

She glanced at Feng Chunhua and then boarded the train.

As the vehicle started to move and rolled out of the yard, An Hao heard Feng Chunhua’s altered voice from behind, "An Hao, I’m sorry! Sister-in-law was wrong!"

The corners of An Hao’s lips twitched as she buried her head in Qin Jian’s chest, her eyes slightly moistened.

"Are you reluctant to leave?" Qin Jian quietly asked her.

"I’m reluctant to leave you."

"If you feel like crying, then cry... While I’m still here, give me all your tears."

"No," An Hao shook her head and when she raised her head again, the tears in her eyes had already vanished. "I won’t cry. Qin Jian, even though we are parting, let’s not say goodbye, okay?"

Seeing the smile An Hao was struggling to maintain on her face, Qin Jian nodded. In that moment, he didn’t care whether the driver could see them or not.

He leaned in and kissed her deeply, a kiss that lasted a long time, entwined, soft, and filled with reluctant affection.

The train station had been reached, Gu Shuangshuang and Tian Niu were already saying their goodbyes.

The usually stoic Gu Shuangshuang was crying her eyes out, while Tian Niu held her tenderly in his arms, comforting her.

An Hao lifted her head and gave Qin Jian a bright smile, stood on her tiptoes, and kissed him on the lips, "I’ll be waiting for you to come back."

"Okay," Qin Jian smiled in response.

When An Hao stepped onto the train again and looked through the window, she saw the reluctance in Qin Jian’s eyes, but she knew that this parting would mark the beginning of their next reunion...

Qin Jian... I’ll be waiting for you...
