"And you’re calling me out! You heartless little thing, getting pregnant without telling me, such a big event happening in the hospital and you didn’t even mention it! If it weren’t for Lei Linxuan telling me, I’d have had no clue," Gu Shuangshuang poked An Hao’s head and complained.

"You had your own issues at home, and I couldn’t help, so why bother you with these things?" More than two months ago, Gu Shuangshuang had told her that her mother was not well, had undergone major surgery, and needed her to take care of her for a while.

An Hao didn’t expect that she would be gone for two months.

"Wrong," An Hao held up two fingers, "There are two treasures in the belly."

"My goodness, you’re really good at this, aren’t you?" Gu Shuangshuang exclaimed excitedly, "Do you know yet if they are boys or girls in there?"

"Boy or girl, they’re my kids, I don’t care about their gender." An Hao smiled, the expression of happiness evident on her face.

"That’s right," Gu Shuangshuang agreed with that remark.

"How’s your aunt? How has she been after the surgery?" An Hao inquired.

"She’s better now. But don’t get me started on my mom, she has really worked me to the bone these two months! I even doubt if she’s really my mom, treating me just like a maid." Now that her mother had recovered, Gu Shuangshuang decided to take a few days off before going back to classes. She needed to recharge.

An Hao pursed her lips into a smile, then asked, "How’s Captain Tian doing? Has he been alright recently? Are you two still going strong?"

"We’re fine. It’s just that Tian Niu has been wanting to transfer back to the Northern Military Region, but my mom hopes he goes to the Nanji Military Region! The situation has caused another conflict between the two of them." This was really troubling for Gu Shuangshuang.
