Chapter 1147: Chapter 1147: Same Old Rules, To the Rooftop!
Since he hesitated on this matter, it meant that there might indeed be some problem with her health.
Otherwise, she wouldn’t be like this.
"You tell me, what exactly is wrong with you?" Yan Ye wanted to get to the bottom of it, and if necessary, he would definitely talk to Ji Chuan again.
"Teacher Yan..." An Hao hesitated for a moment before deciding to tell the truth, "I’m pregnant! With such a huge workload, indeed, I’m feeling overwhelmed..."
Yan Ye looked at An Hao in surprise, "You’re going to be a mother?"
Pressing her lips together, An Hao smiled faintly, a light blush spreading across her cheeks:
"Mhm."
"Congratulations!" Yan Ye smiled, feeling happy for her, "You just focus on your internship here, don’t worry about anything else. I’ll talk to Ji Chuan."
"Thank you, Teacher Yan!" An Hao replied, "I’ll go first then, it’s almost time to prepare for surgery."
"Alright."
As An Hao went to the disinfection room, she ran into Ruan Fangfang, who was also about to assist in a surgery.
She gave her a bland glance and said nothing.
"What? Disappointed?" Ruan Fangfang, looking at her, smirked triumphantly, "You didn’t expect me to make it back, did you? You thought you could get rid of me with that little skill of yours. Even if I’m from the cardiac surgery department, I can still intern in this hospital."
"Hmph." An Hao scoffed coldly, "Let’s see if you have the ability to stay and work in this hospital!"
An internship counts for nothing!
Having said that, she lifted her hand, flicking the droplets of water off, and turned away.
"Where are you flicking to? You got water all over my face," Ruan Fangfang lifted her sleeve, vigorously wiped her face, and with her head held high, proudly followed An Hao into the operating room.
"Interns stand to the side and observe. Is everyone else ready?" Ji Chuan glanced around, saw everyone nodding, and announced, "The surgery begins."
Ji Chuan was very efficient in his work and took great responsibility for the students.
Throughout the surgery process, he explained each step as he did it.
The explanations were quite thorough.
"Removing the lesion," he spoke, and in sync, the scalpel in his hand made the incision, "Send it for biopsy and pathology."
"Next, we check for any bleeding." After waiting a few minutes, he turned to An Hao, "You handle the rest."
"Okay." An Hao responded, just about to step forward and continue the surgery with the scalpel, when she heard Ruan Fangfang say, "Could you let me do it?"
Then turning her head to look at Ji Chuan, her gaze seeking his opinion.
"Are you sure you can do it? Are you completely confident?" Ji Chuan asked Ruan Fangfang.
"I should be able?" Ruan Fangfang wasn’t too sure herself.
"What do you mean ’should be’? Are you asking me? It seems you’re not fully prepared in your heart, you’re not qualified to be here in the operation room." Ji Chuan looked at her coolly and said to An Hao, "You do it!"
The surgery was over.
Ji Chuan came out of the operating room.
He found Yan Ye waiting for him not far away.
"What’s up? You seem quite free today! Have the cardiothoracic surgeons really become so idle?" Ji Chuan couldn’t resist taunting him.
"It’s true that I’m not busy today! But there is something I need to talk to you about." Yan Ye pointed to the rooftop, "Old rules, let’s go up to the roof."
"I only have twenty minutes to spare for you," Ji Chuan said.
"Alright."
The two men walked shoulder to shoulder to the rooftop on the twelfth floor, while Ruan Fangfang curiously wondered what these two men had to talk about all day.
In the morning, she saw the two directors standing with An Hao in the corridor, muttering something.
