Surviving The Fourth Calamity
Chapter 433 - 232: Setting Off Again, Journey to Central City

Chapter 433: Chapter 232: Setting Off Again, Journey to Central City

Hill nonchalantly sat at the table, checking the tasks on the tablet.

The God of Time and Space, a major player, understood both systems and networks in whatever he studied.

The synchronization was really high.

The Emerald Butterfly farming mission he released in Central City was also available on the tablets in his domain.

All of them had already been marked as ’completed’.

Hill carefully checked, the alliance at Snow Cloud Peak had completed two-thirds, with only the rest completed by the Doomsday and the Scattered Ones.

Perhaps it was because of the Cloud House, the mobility of their alliance seemed better.

In such speed-dependent tasks, they had an easier time completing them.

Cloud House was slow, but that was in comparison with Hill’s flying speed.

If you were willing to burn Crystal Stones, it actually wasn’t slow.

The Undead Tribe, no matter what they lacked, would never be short on Crystal Stones.

It was just unclear if the God of Time and Space had enough stock, or if he had gone mining during his free time.

Lately, boasting the ability to fly without fear of death, the Undead Tribe had nearly traveled the entire Dwarf Kingdom.

Only near the Dwarf Kingdom Capital were they unable to fly; getting close to that area would get them instantly killed.

But this was already enough, a large number of the Undead uploaded various topographic maps of their explorations in the Dwarf Kingdom to the forums.

List had asked Old Cat to copy them for Hill, and after scrutinizing them for a few days, he had assembled a reasonably complete map.

Following those terrain maps with various mountain trends and embryonic mineshafts, Hill roughly judged the types of mines.

He adeptly snapped a photo of this vein map with the tablet and tasked the Undead to continue perfecting the map.

Of course, they also needed to plant Emerald Butterflies.

Inside the mission, Hill clarified his purpose was to confirm whether his judgments were correct, rather than to provoke the Dwarves.

But since the Undead thought the Emerald Butterflies were beautiful, he was also quite willing to pay a small price to let them continue planting.

Not long after Hill posted the map, he discovered someone was modifying it.

William marked all the mineshafts that had been occupied by the Emerald Butterflies.

He then corrected some of Hill’s minor errors.

Some similar minerals, Hill had still judged wrong.

Hill smiled wryly, knowing that after returning to the Magic Tower, he would have to pull out those mineral data again to confirm them again.

He carefully looked and indeed saw a few continuous mountain ranges marked as the territory of the Leopard Merkel, now occupied by him.

The mineshafts in the mountains were already fully planted with Emerald Butterflies, and Merkel had the Undead take away all the removable minerals, symbolizing their cooperation.

In the future, this place could serve not only as a refuge for the Undead but also as a place where Merkel could lead teams to help.

Hill was slightly relieved; as long as it was his own domain, Alice’s days should pass quite well.

As for the silly Leopard, to hell with him.

Suddenly, Hill heard roaring laughter outside.

Curious, he looked up a few times.

Then he lightly touched his forehead; this place was within Agleya’s domain, perhaps she had heard what Snow Cloud Peak said.

Although he did not know the exact content within the Illusory Realm, hearing the frenzied cries of the Undead—"Up up! Bite now! Just a bit more, come on Great White, you can do it!"—gave a glimpse into Snow Cloud Peak’s current predicament.

Agleya’s previous Illusion Arrays would only chase people away using various types of storms; this seemed to be the first time high-level Magical Beasts appeared.

Indeed, pressure creates miracles.

Snow Cloud Peak really was an easy target.

But in Hill’s eyes, this guy did not seem very panicked.

His movements were still quite agile.

If you didn’t understand the Illusion Array, and couldn’t break it, it could indeed be quite troublesome.

Though Snow Cloud Peak had made a flying pose, his feet hadn’t left the ground.

If it weren’t for his vigorous evasive maneuvering, Hill wouldn’t have been able to confirm that he was indeed flying.

Old Dog Snow had indeed spotted the lifeline within Agleya’s Illusion Array.

He reached the exit in less than an hour.

Hill thought Agleya might be upset, but soon after, Snow Cloud Peak walked out, his Purifying Bottle filled.

He smiled; perhaps Old Dog Snow’s competitive spirit had been stimulated, which was good as it gave him motivation.

Hill instructed List, standing beside him, "I still intend to go to Central City. I always feel there is something there related to me. I prioritized my life before, but now, my curiosity tells me I can go."

List said helplessly, "Please take Agleya’s Ice Crystal with you; I don’t think I have the courage to deal with a Main God."

"If there are too many Magical Beasts, give me a sign, and I’ll come back to expand," Hill turned and asked, "but you seem to have no plan for that?"

"This time, it’s mostly youthful Magical Beasts that have come in. They’re a bit different from the previous group species," List shook his head. "They’re quite willing to adventure together with the Undead, though they come quickly, they also leave quickly."

Hill nodded and watched Snow Cloud Peak outside, holding a water bottle and not letting the Undead steal it, yelling at them to hurry back to work. He stood up, "I’d better walk on my own! No need to squeeze in with them."

"The stock at Cloud House should be sufficient recently," List hurriedly said, "the rest of the Undead Tribe will probably need to save for a few more months to afford it."

"That’s just as well, I was getting a bit tired of it too," Hill remarked.

He returned to the Magic Tower, carefully gathering all sorts of materials and supplies once again.

A strange premonition made Hill feel that this was going to be a long journey; it was better to be thoroughly prepared.

He placed Agleya’s communication ice crystal into a pendant, which he had to carry with him at all times.

Walking through the town, Hill was pleased to see that the residents of his domain had all become Grand Knights.

Although it was unlikely for them to become Sky Knights, in this world, the capability of a Grand Knight was already enough for them to live without worries.

The salary Hill provided was always linked to strength, enough for them to live quite comfortably.

Perhaps due to frequent contact with the Undead Tribe, the ordinary citizens in Hill’s domain were very pragmatic.

So even if he didn’t return for a long time, there basically wouldn’t be any problems in the domain.

Hill, satisfied, plunged into the Teleportation Array and soon arrived at the Central City.

"Tch!" As soon as Hill exited the Teleportation Array, he sensed various spiritual powers scanning him.

He unceremoniously stirred his own Mental Sea, instantly retaliating against all who were too close to him.

From a distance, Hill wouldn’t have felt much.

If it were him, he would also take a look at someone who had nurtured a Deity.

But being this close, almost probing what Hill was carrying, was this a declaration of war?

Even though he had just become Legendary not long ago, no one would think that Hill couldn’t feel their spiritual power, right?

Hill thought that among the Mages, there weren’t many fools, so were they really looking for trouble?

He couldn’t help but frown; the first time was just a forceful extraction, but if someone dared to do it again, Hill wouldn’t be polite.

Competing with an Alchemist Master in strength of mental power?

Hill sneered as he flew toward the Central City.

The place was almost fully developed by now.

At least most of the basic constructions were nearly complete.

Hill saw that William had already released some of the former slaves. They now lived in the civilian area of the Central City, between the military zone and the Inner Ring.

Hill only saw them in the civilian area and the farmlands outside the city; it seemed their work was farming.

It looked like William still had reservations about allowing them into the Inner Ring, the area around the elevator.

Hill directly descended into the Lord’s Mansion. The Magic Array in the Central City had long recorded Hill’s aura; he did not need to register at the city gate.

"Hill, why are you here again?" Adrian, who was busy, asked in surprise after seeing him, "Ah! I’m foolish! Now, there’s no one who dares to directly assassinate you!

But there’s nothing much happening on this side of Central City either!"

"I plan to stay closer to the Dwarves. If it comes to it, I’d like to visit their Kingdom Capital," Hill looked around; he didn’t say much else.

The ground floor of Adrian’s Magic Tower was indeed unusually lively. Even the grand banquet hall seemed too small.

Adrian subtly indicated with his eyes the few apprentices standing nearby; those were the people he considered decent.

Anyway, no matter what, they already belonged to him.

Hill nodded and handed over a golden Purifying Bottle: "Agleya’s Holy Water, keep it for use. Once it leaves this bottle, it must be used within seven days."

Once it’s separated from the Source of Sanctity for a certain period, the Holy Water will gradually evaporate.

There’s no issue inside the Purifying Bottle, though; that bottle itself has been sanctified by Agleya, very handy.

Adrian picked up the bottle and carefully admired it: "Hill, your taste has improved quite a bit lately!"

"That is your aesthetic, not mine. It was made for you in the first place," Hill replied indifferently, "I like white, is there a problem?"

Hill implied with his gaze: come on, let’s hurt each other! If you dare say white is not good, I’ll turn and sell it to my grandfather.

Compared to Hill, Fran was the one who used white the most.

Adrian promptly changed the subject: "Well, why don’t you stay here with me during this period?"

"No need, I’d rather stay in the sky. Agleya contacts me every day,

Her strength is still growing; she can easily exert too much force, and it wouldn’t be good if she damaged your Magic Tower," Hill glanced around; there were already a few people anxiously waiting for Adrian to review their work.

"My Cloud House is still in hidden mode; you know how to find me." Hill nodded in acknowledgment; his Forest Array was still well placed there!

Hill briskly bid farewell to Adrian and stepped into a new Cloud House, ascending into the sky.

He neatly activated the Illusion Array, released Lily of the Valley and Windmill Jasmine, and then hung Agleya’s ice crystal in the study.

This time, the Cloud House had three levels, and the whole ship was much larger than the original.

It was made entirely according to the specifications for Hill to live comfortably.

Hill had even installed a Mid-level Tower Spirit and took the intelligent Puppet given by Fran.

He planned to let the Cloud House drift aimlessly in the Triangle Zone among the white clouds for the time being.

Hill believed that fate would bring the reason that affected his emotions right in front of him.
