Surviving The Fourth Calamity
Chapter 427 - 226: Ascending the Divine Throne, Above the Starry Sky

Chapter 427: Chapter 226: Ascending the Divine Throne, Above the Starry Sky

Agleya had left her mark in the valley and even within the oak Divine Artifact.

In Hill’s study, a crystal clear ice flower had also appeared.

"Dad." Holding a slightly smaller ice flower, Agleya approached Hill’s pendant and gently edged it, "With this, no one can ambush you anymore! I will kill them directly and tear their soul apart!"

Although Hill could pat the little girl’s head, Agleya’s ascension had not actually ended, and he was unable to move, only able to nod with a smile, "I will always carry it."

"I really don’t want to leave!" Agleya sighed, "When can the deities return to the earth?"

"I, too, am looking forward to that day," Hill smiled, "Go deep into the starry sky, engrave your name! Agleya, then I can visit your Divine Kingdom among the stars."

The little girl with aqua-blue hair suddenly became deflated.

Her disheartened appearance looked somewhat pitiful.

But Hill could feel the urging of the World Rules — any further delay, and Agleya might be cast out directly.

The newly born Little Sea God was powerful and had quite the temperament.

Hill certainly didn’t want her to make enemies with the World Will before she had ascended to the stars, especially for such a reason.

Amid constant reminders from Hill, Agleya still dragged her spear towards the starry sky.

This was probably the most reluctant deity to ascend to the Divine Throne in history.

The world finally began to display Agleya’s life story.

Hill saw for the first time the true forms of the Lake Goddess and the White Wolf.

The Lake Goddess was pretty much as Hill had imagined.

She had deep blue, long curly hair tied loosely in a ponytail that gently fell at her waist.

A beautiful goddess with a gentle demeanor but a hint of defiance.

To Hill, she was much more beautiful than the Goddess of the Spring who was born at the same time.

Perhaps it was a matter of temperament — the Goddess of the Spring had a poor nature, her eyes showing sharpness, which greatly contrasted with the gentle kindness she tried to project, making her seem uncomfortable to behold.

The White Wolf still retained his wolf form, with fur closer to the color of snow than his brother; no wonder, being the Howling Moon Silver Wolf, he could impersonate the White Wolf so easily.

Both the Lake Goddess and the White Wolf looked a bit disheveled.

But Hill understood, as they were on the battlefield.

The scene showed the Lake Goddess discovering she was pregnant, discussing with the White Wolf what to do next.

She could join the White Wolf in their demise, but she didn’t want her child to fall with them.

The White Wolf then howled excitedly for a while, finally urging the Lake Goddess to leave the battlefield and find the Little Silver Wolf, as she was not necessarily a target the demons needed to kill.

As for the Magical Beasts, their hatred for the demons was deeply entrenched, making it difficult to pass through the Abyssal Gate.

But it was different for the Lake Goddess; she could revert to her original form, appearing as a person made of water.

There was always a way to hide.

However, the Lake Goddess did not agree.

She believed that if she abandoned her lover for the sake of this child, she would hate the child in the years to come.

After wrestling with the decision for a while, she transformed into a brilliant blue Water Ball, from which she squeezed out a Little Snail Bead, then reverted to human form and clasped the bead tightly in her hand.

The Lake Goddess gently kissed the White Wolf’s forehead, her eyes filled with determination.

Then the White Wolf God led the Magical Beasts in a tragic surprise attack.

Among the demons blocking their path, Hill recognized many types of High-level Demons, especially the leader, the Six-Armed Serpent Demon, whose facial patterns suggested he was already a minor lord.

An existence even more powerful than typical deities.

In the end, the Lake Goddess used all her strength to rush towards the Abyssal Gate; as the sound of the White Wolf God’s self-destruction came, she, too, self-destructed.

But amidst the splash of water, no one noticed a bead rolling out of the Abyssal Gate.

Perhaps because their self-destruction instantly killed the most powerful demon aiming at this world, the bead easily passed through the Abyssal Gate.

It lightly landed at the bottom of the sea, hiding in the sand for a long time.

Then it was swallowed by a sea snail.

The sea snail at the bottom of the sea also lasted for a long time, even becoming a High-level Magical Beast, but it ultimately ended in the jaws of a gruesome mouth.

Bex’s face appeared in the air.

He regretted eating the flesh, lamenting the shell was too brittle, deciding to be more careful with his strength next time.

He then counted the beads pulled out of this huge sea snail one by one.

The next scene showed the sea turtle, lying there, placing the bead into a shell.

Hill slightly bowed his head, not wanting to watch what happened next.

Unfortunately, the noise below let him know his face had already appeared.

The only consolation was that the World Will wasn’t foolish enough to release what happened within the oak Divine Artifact.

Possibly, these events were all related to Hill’s cultivation of the snail bead, not needing to be fully shown.

The World Will wasn’t that frivolous.

Compared to the God of Time and Space’s lengthy movie, Agleya’s was much shorter.

Natural deities didn’t have many significant events.

If Agleya had been born normally, at most, they would show the appearance of her parents.

Agleya stood coldly in the sky, reluctantly looking back.

"Tsk, I’ll be back someday." The young girl, after her fierce declaration, walked heavily towards the starry sky.

Hill smiled as he watched her burst straight into the depths of the starry sky, swaggering out after carving her name.

Although unbelievable, no deity bothered the young girl.

Not only was the Sun God and the Goddess of the Silvermoon standing outside the Divine Kingdom, watching Agleya with smiles, but also because Agleya’s strength was truly formidable, yet she had no real conflicts with any deities.

Including the Dwarf Gods.

Those self-proclaimed Water Gods probably weren’t even as powerful as a Legendary Mage; nobody would stand up for them.

Perhaps the only one furious was that Water Sorcerer?

But who cared?

No deity probably even knew who he was.

Moreover, without mentioning human deities, both Dwarves and Elves understood that if they allowed the Demon Lord to break into this world, all their beautiful initial ideas would collapse directly.

That lord was clearly a Great Demon searching for his own territory, offering a world to the Abyss in exchange for the rewards of the Bottomless Abyss, the only thing he wanted to do.

The White Wolf God and the Lake Goddess truly saved this world.

It was only natural for Agleya’s divine power to be so strong.

No wonder, even while still asleep, the World Will was very tolerant of Agleya.

It even allowed her to leave halfway during her ascension to the Divine Throne to find Hill.

Once Hill could move, he flew straight up into the sky.

It was his first time breaking through the World Membrane by himself.

Hill initially thought this would happen much later.

He didn’t know about other Legendary Laws, but Hill broke through very easily.

Probably not just because he had more Law Lines than Causality Threads in his hands.

But also because of a blue Causality Thread, stretching directly into the starry sky.

This was the Causality Thread that Agleya, with her will and a few determined calls of "Hill’s Dad," had pulled for Hill.

Although it was somewhat headache-inducing, Hill couldn’t help but smile as he looked at the thread.

Agleya was already waiting in the starry sky, looking triumphantly at Hill, "Hill’s Dad, where do you think I should live?"

"Even if not near me, try not to be too far, after all, I’m your uncle!" A gigantic Silver Wolf slowly emerged.

Hill quickly looked back in the direction of the Elven God King’s Divine Kingdom, worried an arrow might fly his way, affecting both him and Agleya.

"It’s okay, the Goddess is watching!" the Silver Wolf knew what Hill was worried about.

"Your divine artifact probably isn’t even worth a fraction of theirs," Hill said lightly, "If they really decided to kill you, sacrificing another divine artifact would do the trick, and it’s not like they don’t have another."

The Silver Wolf paused for a moment, then quickly turned and ran.

He knew Hill was extraordinarily lucky and had sharper instincts; perhaps the Elven God King really thought that way.

The Silver Wolf decided it was better to hide under the protection of the Silvermoon Halo first!

As for his little niece, she’d be fine without him.

Having him around might actually cause trouble.

The moment the Silver Wolf entered the halo, a cold snort sounded in the starry sky, "Lucky you! That Nature Warlock should mind his own business in the future!"

Agleya turned sharply, raising the trident in her hand instantaneously.

"Don’t mind him," Hill soothed as he touched her blue fur, "Let’s start building your Divine Kingdom. Do you mind staying near the edge of The River of Time and Space? Look, where the river bends towards this planet, there’s a perfect empty spot for you."

Agleya looked carefully, and although it was a bit further than her current position, she could still directly see the World Membrane and promptly nodded in agreement.

Agleya knew Hill had a good relationship with the Gods of Time and Space; being nearby would probably make Hill feel more at ease.

Although she seemed small, making Hill more tolerant of her capriciousness, Agleya was quite satisfied.

But on the other hand, Hill seemed even more concerned.

She never thought being smaller was an issue.

Otherwise, how could she compete with that silly cat!

She had thought Natural Deities could stay on land too!

Such a miscalculation!

Luckily that cat, having married, couldn’t boast like Agleya, who could act spoiled and get Hill’s Dad to come out and join her.

She pinched the trident in her hand, scoffing softly: With her around, other deities were of no use against Hill!

Those deities, if they ever dared to bully Hill again, she’d make them call him Grandpa Hill!

Agleya knew in her heart that it was fine to think this way, but saying it out loud would likely make Hill think their current location wasn’t so great.

He would definitely push her far into the orbit of the Goddess of the Silvermoon or near the Sun God.

Compared to the Gods of Time and Space, who would never intervene more than necessary, those two Natural Gods would probably pay more attention to Agleya.

Pulling Hill along, Agleya joyously began constructing her Divine Kingdom amidst the stars.

Hill tenderly accompanied his little daughter in building her Divine Kingdom. Little did he know, beneath the starry sky, on the vast land below, a crazy cat was on the loose.
