Chapter 196: Chapter 32 Hill’s Water Element Now Has Attack Spells_3

"I can send him to live in the Capital, where there are boarding schools."

"Very well, Sir."

"If he makes this choice, give him some money." Hill still spoke up, "Ah, underage children!"

"It’s because you have a kind heart," List earnestly said.

"Send him away sooner," Hill simply said, "It must be uncomfortable for his grandfather to see him."

Hill felt that one shouldn’t be too ruthless in life.

Besides, Edgar, even if he made something of himself in the future and wanted to stir up trouble, it would be against Manton and the Earl.

As for Hill, who had long parted ways with the family, it was only natural not to support him.

List quietly withdrew to take care of the matters concerning Edgar.

Hill hugged his pillow and thought for a while, then suddenly smiled slyly. It would be good if Edgar’s biological father had some special status.

The Countess’s lover must have some unique qualities, right?

Standing outside a door on the second floor of the inn, List asked softly, "Mr. Edgar, I am List. May I come in?"

"Please enter." The young man, struggling to keep calm, responded with a trembling voice.

The puppet pushed the door open. List walked in.

He was a very handsome youth, already quite tall, with golden-blond hair, deep-set eyes, high brow bones, and deep blue eyes.

Indeed, he bore no resemblance to the Earl at all.

"What does Hill plan to do with me?" Edgar, sitting in a chair, clasped his hands together.

"Sir believes that he cannot keep you here," List glanced at the tightly clasped hands, "but he can send you to the Knight School in the Capital. There, they have specialized knight courses. You can study there until you come of age. If you become a knight, you can even stay on for further study.

Upon graduation, you may choose to join the Army or serve His Majesty the King."

Edgar looked up in surprise, "I can do that too?"

"Once you’re there, you truly can’t have any contact with the Earl," List warned.

"I’m not a fool," Edgar said with a cold laugh, "I know that I may not be his child.

But even my mother can’t confirm it, yet the Earl has already decided that I’m not."

List didn’t want to get involved with the child’s resentment towards the Earl, as it was none of their concern.

"Do you want to go to this school?"

"Of course, I’m at least a Knight Squire," Edgar smiled, "I’ll change my surname, Hill won’t mind, will he?"

"Sir is unconcerned with the affairs of the Pelast family," List said, "Once the Earl passes away, he will have absolutely nothing to do with him."

"I thought so," Edgar said with a cold laugh, "Manton won’t let him off easily. In fact, towards the end, my mother wasn’t really the main force against Manton anymore.

Out of loyalty to Prince Edward, he used Manton as a peace offering, almost directly changing the heir."

List could only remain silent.

"I can leave at any time," Edgar stood up and said.

"Are you afraid of using the Teleportation Array?" List asked.

"I’ve used it once, there’s nothing to be afraid of," Edgar said, "It’s much better than being carried by the neck and flown."

"Then let’s set off," List said, gesturing for Edgar to leave the room, "the Undead Tribe I hired are waiting for us there."

List entrusted the youth to Snow Cloud Peak, who had returned to this area to stand guard during this time.

After instructing him to make sure he was sent to the Knight School in the Capital, he handed a small box to Edgar.

"This is from Sir," List said, "This box has two layers. The bottom is a Space Box, where the larger sum of money is kept. The top contains introductory letters and some change. Please be careful with it."

"Please thank Hill for me," Edgar bowed his head, "I know I can’t really do anything for him, I can only wish him peace and happiness."

Holding the box, Edgar followed Snow Cloud Peak, who was full of curiosity, into the Teleportation Array.
