Chapter 174: Chapter 23 Love is the Eternal Topic_2

To warn modern youths who treat love as a game, to tell us how rare and precious a love that is free and equal truly is.

"We really have been cursing in vain for so long."

Yue Xiaoluo held a tablet and took a stroll around the territory: "Look at these peaceful days, what a beautiful scenery indeed!

Look at that couple, so affectionate with each other, aren’t you jealous?

Love is the true eternal presence!

To love whom I love, to hate whom I hate, that is life."

Yun Che and Yeyu Qingyu, upon hearing Yue Xiaoluo’s words, gently hugged each other again and sweetly touched their cheeks together.

Yue Xiaoluo disdainfully took back her tablet: "Stop looking at those lovebirds! They could even win a ranking in a dog-abuse competition.

Okay, that’s it for today’s live broadcast.

Since I still haven’t found a good man, I might as well go make a few pretty outfits."

Old Cat waited for everyone else to leave before quietly switching the screen, turning back to the live broadcast of a beautiful girl dancing.

Hill listened as he murmured softly, "The world outside is so beautiful, why insist on being leashed."

Hill shook his head helplessly, the Elementals and Magical Beasts had all returned to their territory; in silence, he watched as most of the Treants moved into several Forest Arrays, instantly reverted to their tree forms, clearly showing their determination not to return.

He called over List and ordered him to release all the puppets from the storage.

As long as he reminded the people not to enter the range of the Forest Arrays and to ensure the safety of the villagers in the territory, that would be sufficient.

Although the strongest were only three or four Sky Knight Puppets, they were enough to hold off any issue for a few minutes until Fran could intervene.

As for the Undead Tribe, Hill thought, if there were still Mages foolish enough to provoke them, then with such intelligence, they would sooner or later meet their own demise, and he needn’t bother.

Hill flew into the sky and waved to Merkel and Alice on the mountaintop, and together they returned to the study in the Magic Tower.

Hill nestled on the couch, looking at Merkel sitting in front of him, touching Alice who snuggled into his arms, and asked, "What do you plan to do in the future, Merkel? Are you going to leave?

Your power should be nothing to fear now, right?"

Merkel’s power continued to grow slowly, Hill suspected that he had received the legacy of a Demigod.

"I will stay in the territory," Merkel said stolidly, "Now, it’s no longer the world of a Beast Tribe Demigod. Even if I advance, there’s no future for me.

Besides, not all the resentment of a Demigod can be dispelled.

At least the Wolf Tribe, definitely won’t.

Mr. Hill’s territory imposes no restrictions on Magical Beasts, as long as they swear not to harm the humans within, and doesn’t restrict things outside of it.

But even so, not a single Magical Beast Wolf has come here.

Even the most level-headed Wolf Tribe member can’t contain the urge to tear a human to shreds upon seeing one."

Merkel looked at Alice and said, "I feel I have been very stable because of Alice.

She has greatly reduced my bloodthirsty impulses.

It’s just that she used to be too weak, so it was not noticeable."

Alice didn’t care at all that Merkel said she was weak before, meowing proudly a few times and even proudly licking her paws with a smug face.

Hill helplessly combed her fur and laughed at Merkel, "I’m of course forever welcoming if you stay with me.

Merkel, being as powerful as you are, I don’t need to worry about the security of my territory at all."

Merkel seemed to chuckle before he spoke, "I need to go into slumber for a while, and I’ll take Alice with me to cultivate."

"Meow?" Hill felt the fur under his hand puff up and couldn’t help but laugh.

Alice, sensing Hill’s indifferent attitude, quickly scooted towards the balcony, only to be deftly caught mid-way by Merkel’s mouth.

Watching Merkel slowly leave with the continuously pleading Alice in tow, Hill could only silently wish her well.

At this time, it’s better for a Spirit of Nature to advance sooner rather than later.

Near Saral, the concentration of Elemental Power in the air was getting lower and lower.

It was only within Hill’s territory, with its abundance of Elementals and the cracks leading to the Elemental World at the base of the tower, that the effect was hardly noticeable.

Hill looked up towards the distance; the high winds were growing stronger.

The stagnant air had begun to move, and the skies of the whole world were no longer calmly undisturbed.

Fran intended to study some Wind Spells.

If he could complete a part of the world’s rules for the Wind Series, the feedback he received would probably be enough to make him Legendary.

Moreover, if he could bring about the birth of an Element, even the Deities would not dare to hurt Fran easily.

Unless one courted death like the Goddess of the Spring, the consciousness of the world would always favor those who completed its rules, and those who brought forth a new Elemental Spirit.

List appeared, "Mr. Hill, many Magical Beasts are planning to go into slumber."

Is the influence on Magical Beasts so significant?

Fran looked at the Water Element spread throughout his lands and decided to release a Fountain Pond in the center of his territory, inscribed with both the Tide Dance Moon Welcoming Spell and the Purification Array, for these Magical Beasts to drink from.

According to Merkel’s words, a Spirit of Nature with natural Purification abilities could help him calm down; thus, drinking from the water with double Purification abilities should also help these Magical Beasts.

Fran had some doubts that the God of Time and Space and William were so eager to deal with the Goddess of the Spring because the Beast Tide was coming again.

He definitely did not want the well-cared-for Magical Beasts in his territory to be killed by a bloodthirsty impulse.

In the Saral Tri-Nation, with tens of millions of the Undead Tribe, Fran did not think any Beast Tide that occurred would leave many Magical Beasts alive to return home.

The God of Time and Space wasn’t concerned with the affairs of these three countries.

After all, with the impending Demon invasion, plus the Beast Tide, the other countries were probably on the brink of extinction.

Now, at least seeing the main culprit, the Goddess of the Spring, utterly destroyed in both body and soul, would dissipate some of the ancestral grudges carried by many Magical Beasts.

If it could lessen by even a bit, it’s all the God of Time and Space could help with.

The peace oaths of All Gods were etched in the depths of the starry sky, and all Deities inscribing their Name of God were as if they had automatically signed the contract.

Without the active plea for help from other countries, William could not possibly send the Undead to any country.

This time, the Deities William invited to bear witness were all shared by Humanity, all with strong Divine Power.

Those minor gods of faith couldn’t even climb to the hem of the Goddess of Love’s skirt.

The Divine Kingdoms all hid, afraid to provoke trouble.

But after all, they were Deities; with the Space-Time Faction standing for Neutral Good, they wouldn’t actively hurt anyone.

So even with the imminent threat of Demon invasions and another rise of the Beast Tide, William remained calm and composed.

It’s just a matter of waiting; countries that can’t hold out will eventually ask William for help.

As Fran was squatting on the ground inscribing an Array, he couldn’t help but wonder absentmindedly: just how long could Dionysio’s country hold out?

The God of Nobility and God of Monarchy certainly couldn’t offer their help to them in the short term.

And compared to other countries with numerous faiths, Dionysio, a nation that could only worship the God of Nobility, would have to fend for itself, right?

Fran lightly slapped his mouth—better not say it out loud; what if his words somehow come true?

He casually sculpted with mud a circular wave-shaped Fountain Pond and erected a statue of a majestic Wolf and a girl embracing it in the center.

After using Mana to transform the Fountain Pond into white Marble, Fran raised his hand and glanced at it: If I were in my own world, who needs a certification? I could be a one-man national team.

He called over the Magical Beasts that were peeking around, telling them to drink more water from the Fountain Pond before they sleep, and Fran happily went back to sleep.

He had been somewhat mentally tense these days, and it had been a long time since he’d had a restful sleep.

It was another pleasant morning, and Fran listened to the clear chirping of birds outside the Magic Tower as he leisurely stretched his limbs.

He enjoyed a good bath, feeling refreshed, and proceeded to the balcony.

Cohen, who had been secluding himself to train because he felt useless, stood on the balcony’s railing, watching Fran.

"Good morning, Cohen!" Fran greeted with surprise. "Long time no see, how do you feel?"

Cohen spread his wings, showcasing himself all around, and released his presence.

Fran could feel that Cohen was just a bit away from breaking through to the Magister phase, it seemed that what Cohen had initially planned to cultivate until the breakthrough was disrupted by yesterday’s events.

"Really great," Fran praised with a smile.

Indeed, Cohen had been woken up by the noise. For flying creatures, the only natural enemies are their own kind; land animals never enter their consideration.

They only prey on small animals like rabbits; after all, a rabbit as big as the ones in this world would be a meal for one like Cohen.

Therefore, Cohen wasn’t deeply affected by yesterday’s events.

He was just woken up and came to see Fran.
