Chapter 167: Chapter 20 All Set, Just Awaiting the Guest_2

After downing a bottle of Mana Potion, Hill walked to the open space between the Lord’s Mansion and the Church, setting up the Ginkgo and Cedar as the core of this side, and indeed, the Forest Array summoned was layers upon layers, tall and beautiful, about five stories high, hiding the view of the Lord’s Mansion.

Hill, with hands on hips, looked at the last few, thinking that he certainly couldn’t set such formidable protections even on the roads leading to the stores and the inn.

Hill observed the puppets patrolling the roads, these lowest-level ones being Grand Knights, sufficient to serve a warning function.

He scratched his head and finally decided to place these somewhat shorter floral Treants to the left and right of the large screen.

Treants can make themselves shorter, albeit a bit bulky, and those summoned turned out even shorter, not obstructing the screen at all.

Hill looked on satisfied, the blooming flowers across the trees made this spot by the large screen even more beautiful.

Hill began to engrave a Purification Array along the plaza, near the Forest Array, enhancing the effect of the Purification Array even more.

Fran and Adrian flew over while Hill was halfway through the engraving, not rushing to set up their alchemy equipment, but standing by interestedly watching Hill work.

"People from the Nature System are too strong in this aspect!" Adrian exclaimed, "I’ve seen many Divine Formations at Temples but they aren’t as effective as Hill’s."

"His Water Element Divine Arts are stronger than those by the Spring Water," Fran said, "It’s only because there are no Divine Arts for Earth Element, otherwise he would definitely have them."

"Nature really does love Hill," Adrian said with a laugh, "which is why Hill’s luck has always been good."

Fran seriously added, "But one can’t always depend on luck! If he becomes dependent, he’ll be ruined."

Adrian quickly shut his mouth, as he didn’t want to speak out of turn and get Hill reprimanded.

Luckily, Hill was intently focused on engraving the Purification Array and heard nothing.

Finally, Hill completed all the tasks and exhaled in relief.

He looked up and saw Fran and Adrian standing nearby, happily waving at them.

The two smiled and nodded at him, and then Fran was respectfully invited upstairs by List to inspect the renovations.

Adrian took out a box, "I plan to place this in the lobby on the first floor, it can directly connect to His Majesty the King."

Hill looked at it with a puzzled expression.

Adrian smiled and said, "Yes, it’s the kind of mobile communicator you made. His Majesty the King and the teacher have agreed for 500 pieces. Now, all the alchemists in the domain are busy making these."

Hill nodded with satisfaction, "All the alchemists who are learning to make this communicator have to buy the blueprint from me."

He could learn it from others, but then he wouldn’t be able to sell it legitimately.

The world of alchemists now was ruled by Fran.

It was evident from how Fran easily arranged for people to come research at Hill’s place instead of needing to go to the Great Magic Tower in Obastian.

Hill, smiling, said to Adrian, "I haven’t yet installed a Tower Spirit in the Lord’s Mansion, although List can handle it, but perhaps placing a higher-level one would be better?"

"I’ve brought you one," Adrian said with a wry smile, "The Tower Spirits I’ve recently created are theoretically high-level, but they’re far inferior to the ones the teacher makes and can’t be promoted further."

"Then placing it here is perfect," Hill replied with satisfaction, "Why don’t you charge extra and sell it to the Undead Tribe?"

"The price of high-level Tower Spirits must not be lowered," Adrian instructed Hill, "In the future, if you produce them and the quality is poor, rather store them than sell them at a reduced price."

Hill blinked and tilted his head in a cute pose.

Adrian couldn’t help but laugh, "You smoothly became a Magister. Don’t you understand that those at Archmage Level alchemists rely on making high-level Tower Spirits to earn the resources for promotion! We have so many ways to make money; let’s not harm their only path."

Hill silently nodded.

"Things are actually much better now for alchemists," Adrian said, patting Hill’s head, "His Majesty the King has an endless need for alchemy products, and ordinary alchemists are living well. But that’s only within the borders of these three nations. So, we must never start this trend, understand, Hill?"

Hill nodded vigorously.

Adrian then patted him and called List over to activate the high-level Tower Spirit.

By doing so, once the Tower Spirit awoke, it would obediently follow List’s commands.

"Set it as female!" Adrian suggested, "Hill likes the Nature System, and I can’t expect much more from him. Since there are many from the Undead Tribe, create a more attractive image, as she will be receiving guests in the future."

After a moment’s consideration, Hill agreed, "A female seems less threatening."

Adrian waved his hand, "It seems the teacher has no objections; I’ll go install the device then."

Hill nodded, "Although we have arranged accommodation here for your grandfather and you, I still hope you guys would stay in my tower."

Adrian shook his head, "The teacher won’t go. He will definitely keep a close eye on it here."

Hill could only watch helplessly as Adrian went upstairs.

"Mr. Hill," Old Cat called out from a distance.

Hill turned to look at his Deputy Mayor player.

"Why did you place so many Thorn Trees on both sides of the road?" Old Cat walked over nervously from a path surrounded by trees, "I always feel like the trees want to hit me."
