Surviving The Fourth Calamity
Chapter 110 - 91: The Mighty Power of Space-Time

Chapter 110: Chapter 91: The Mighty Power of Space-Time

Hill stood by the window, looking down at the barrier shimmering with golden light, and suddenly asked a question, "Srei, is Phillips older or younger than my maternal grandfather? I vaguely remember he’s not yet 100 years old, right?"

"Yes, he’s older than Mr. Fran, 72 years old. After he became a Magister, The Legend of Carl ceased to take on new students and designated him as the heir.

Given His Highness Carl’s age, it’s unlikely that he will replace him."

Only then did Hill crack a smile, glad that the remark made by Mobi Chenxin wasn’t misguided.

He did remember that The Legend of Carl had three Magister disciples, but none of them outlived their master.

However, Hill could hear the original wording; how did William make Phillips perceive the malice in the player’s words?

Or should he directly say that he is a fool?

Hill has always been very interested in the Intelligence Core that helps players translate dialogues.

The God of Time and Space probably doesn’t understand internet lingo; it must be William’s core.

The sky filled with golden light lasted for half an hour before stopping, and Hill rubbed his eyes, only then certain that he was seeing an Alchemy Hut that had become the Lord’s Mansion of the territory.

Hill blinked his eyes: does Mobi Chenxin know that as the Lord’s Mansion, the Alchemy Hut could no longer be moved from this point on?

Even if their mages favored offensive spells, Mud into Stone is an essential Basic Spell for all Earth Mages!

Couldn’t he just hire someone to build a large stone castle, and use the Divine Power present during the formation of the territory to transform it into an even sturdier material?

With a glance, Hill recognized the Alchemy Hut as one he had sold – Fran’s handiwork, quite valuable. This hut employed a shell shed by a Magister Level snail Magical Beast.

The greatest advantage was that it could expand or shrink in size, though at its largest it was only about three stories tall.

The Black and White Path family must number several thousand people, right?

Hill thought that players always liked to maximize benefits and there must be some special reason they used it this way.

He looked down at Mobi Chenxin, who was gesturing to him from the ground, and quickly brought the ship down, stepping onto the deck.

"Mr. Polanio," Hensley walked over, "why would the Undead Tribe use an Alchemy Hut as a Lord’s Mansion? Isn’t that a waste?"

"I don’t know," Hill replied with a smile, "the God-favored Race always has its peculiarities."

Hill couldn’t be bothered with Phillips and Hensley who were closely following him. As soon as the ship docked, he hurried towards Mobi Chenxin, who looked overjoyed.

The Magicians accompanying him quickly dispersed, heading toward the cave.

"Mr. Hill, look, this is my territory!" Mobi Chenxin said with great pride.

"Congratulations, Mr. Mobi Chenxin. But why would you use an Alchemy Hut as a Lord’s Mansion?" Hill asked curiously. "You do know that once it becomes the Lord’s Mansion, it can’t be carried around anymore, right?"

"Of course I know!" Mobi Chenxin said with a grin. "I bought it from Mr. Hill himself! I know it was expensive. But a Lord’s Mansion built with the power of our Main God can expand in space. The extent of expansion depends on the quality of the material.

Mr. Hill’s Alchemy Hut is the largest expandable interior material I could find.

Also, it’s easier to defend when the house’s exterior is small!"

Hill was extremely surprised, "May I go inside to have a look?"

"Of course, of course! You’re free to enter anywhere except where the core of the Lord’s Mansion is located."

Hill first walked around the outside and found that the material of the Alchemy Hut had indeed been altered. He had no idea what the material was.

Hill couldn’t help but look up at the location of the River of Time and Space in the sky: Could this person have been previously engaged in material study?

He pondered for a long time, still clueless, and could only meticulously note down everything he felt.

Phillips and Hensley seemed to want to follow stubbornly, but Mobi Chenxin stopped them outright, "Sorry, outsiders are not welcome in the Lord’s Mansion!" It was good that they were sensible enough not to ask why Hill was allowed to enter.

It seems that, despite doing much for William, Hensley was still just a lackey, unaware of many things. And Phillips was probably even less informed than Hensley.

Hill ignored the eager looks of the few behind him and entered the Lord’s Mansion without looking back.

He then observed the empty room and had nothing to say for a moment.

Mobi Chenxin, who followed him in, scratched his head, "Heh, I usually just use it as a transfer point. Once they all arrive, the women of the family will come over and decorate."

Hill looked at this structure, which had almost become a castle-like three-story building, and couldn’t help but be moved. Deities are indeed a manifestation of certain rules; the space expanded by a hundredfold, so stable and harmless – even a Legendary Mage would find it tough to accomplish with their own power.

He could sense that this was power triggered based on the innate abilities of spatial Magical Beasts.

Fran had such a shell at his disposal after reaching Legendary status, which Hill had seen.

But with the power of the Deities, the strength of this house even surpassed that Legend-level material.

Hill glanced at Mobi Chenxin and asked, "If any pieces from these walls become available in the future, could you sell them to me? I’m willing to pay a higher price than for the Legendary materials."
