Surprise Marriage to a Billionaire
Chapter 465: Epilogue

Chapter 465: Epilogue

The sun dipped low over the horizon, bathing the grand estate of the Lancaster in hues of gold and soft pink. Flowers lined the garden arches, chandeliers hung from towering trees, and a carpet of white petals stretched down the aisle. It wasn’t just a wedding, it was a declaration of healing, love, and the beginning of forever.

Three couples stood before the gathered crowd, radiant in their own way.

Rock and Vernice beamed as they held hands, tears already glistening in their eyes. Rock, fully recovered and stronger than ever, looked at Vernice like she was the miracle that saved him. Vernice, in a stunning champagne gown, smiled like she’d been waiting her whole life for this moment.

Beside them, Rain stood in a breathtaking ivory gown, her hair woven with delicate blossoms. She looked calm, regal, and deeply happy, as Alexander took her hand in his. His eyes never left hers, full of quiet devotion. His other hand rested protectively over the small swell of her belly.

And next to them, Sanya, five months pregnant and glowing, giggled softly as William adjusted the hem of her veil. He whispered something in her ear, making her blush and elbow him playfully.

The crowd of guests, family, friends, and familiar faces, watched as the officiant stepped forward.

"Today, we are not just witnessing a union," the officiant began, voice deep and warm, "but the merging of stories, of battles fought, of hearts healed, and of families born again."

As each couple exchanged vows, tearful, heartfelt, and sometimes humor-laced, the garden echoed with applause, laughter, and a few sobs.

"You may now kiss your brides."

And just like that, three kisses sealed three promises.

The reception that followed was no less grand. Tables overflowed with food, laughter echoed beneath fairy lights, and music filled the night air.

Rain stood under a canopy, sipping fruit juice and watching it all unfold.

She spotted Sanya sitting nearby, hands on her growing belly, talking to Kelly, who was also glowing in pregnancy. The two women shared a laugh, leaning close as if already bonding their children before they were born.

Rain turned and saw her Aunt Melanie and Uncle Ben dancing like teenagers in love, beaming at each other under the twinkling lights.

Megan, Henry, and Eric were caught in another round of their usual banter, while Marlon and Jane swayed slowly on the dance floor, still bickering, even as they danced.

Rain smiled at the sight but knew deep down that, for now, she wouldn’t be going back to work with them. Still, she had no plans of giving up what she loved. She would continue taking on cases when she could.

At the moment, she was focused on leading the legal team of the Cartier Group, just as her father, Arlan, had asked.

She was the boss now, managing her own schedule, handling meetings as needed, and trusting her team to carry out the work.

And then there was Ivan, of course, still passionately explaining some scientific discovery to one of her father’s old friends, gesturing wildly with a forkful of cake.

Nearby, Rain spotted her grandfather, the President of the country, engaged in warm conversation with a few of Father Rock’s close friends. It was a rare sight, seeing such powerful men gathered in laughter and ease.

On the dance floor, her mother Summer and father Arlan had joined in, swaying gracefully to the music. Beside them, Uncle Ben and Aunt Melanie danced too, all of them smiling like they had finally found peace after everything they’d been through.

Everything felt perfect. Rain smiled softly.

Then, without warning, a sharp pain seized her abdomen. She gasped.

Sanya, catching it from across the garden, was instantly on her feet. "Rain?"

Rain clutched her belly, trying to steady her breath. "I think..." she breathed, "...the twins want to join the party."

Alexander was at her side in seconds, eyes wide. "Now?"

Another contraction hit. Rain nodded. "Now."

Panic rippled across the garden as people moved to help. William helped lift Rain while Ivan grabbed his phone, barking out orders for an emergency team. Aunt Vernice quickly took control, clearing the path. Father Rock was already limping over, concern on his face.

"She’s going into labor!" Kelly cried out.

Rain looked at Alexander, pain in her eyes but also joy. "Looks like we’re ending this wedding with a bigger surprise."

Alexander squeezed her hand and kissed her temple. "Let’s bring them home."

And as they rushed her into the waiting car, the garden remained lit behind them, laughter still echoing, music still playing, three love stories sealed under one sky.

And now, two new lives were ready to begin.

*****

The ride to the hospital had been a blur, flashing lights, the urgent voice of Dr. Ivan over the phone, and Rain’s soft gasps as the contractions grew stronger. Alexander never let go of her hand, whispering encouragement through every jolt and bump.

When they finally arrived, the medical team was already waiting. Rain was quickly wheeled inside while Alexander followed, his heart pounding louder than the sirens that had guided them through traffic.

"Stay with me," Rain whispered, her grip tight on his hand.

"I’m not going anywhere," he promised.

Inside the delivery room, time moved both too fast and too slow. Rain fought through the pain, every breath measured, every moment intense. And Alexander stayed by her side the entire time, wiping her sweat, whispering how proud he was, and holding back his own panic for her sake.

Then... it happened.

The first cry echoed in the room.

Then the second.

Two fragile, beautiful cries.

The twins had arrived.

Alexander froze for a second, his breath caught in his throat. Then he broke, tears streaming freely down his cheeks as he choked on a sob that came from the deepest part of him.

He looked down at Rain, her face exhausted but glowing, her chest rising and falling rapidly as she smiled weakly up at him.

"You did it," he whispered, voice shaking. "God, Rain... you did so good."

He leaned in and kissed her, tender and full of emotion. His hands cupped her face as he whispered again, "I love you. So much. You’re... you’re incredible. I love you."

The medical team moved around them, cleaning the babies and checking their vitals, but Alexander didn’t care who heard him. His eyes remained locked on Rain, as if she was the only thing in the room.

Rain gave him a tired laugh, blinking back her own tears. "We really ended the wedding with a bang, huh?"

He laughed through the tears and kissed her again, this time on the forehead. "Best wedding surprise in history."

A nurse approached, carefully holding the first baby, then the second. Alexander stared at them in awe, two tiny bundles of life, perfect and healthy, wriggling softly in their blankets.

"Meet your children," the nurse said gently.

Alexander’s hands trembled as he reached out, eyes overflowing with wonder and love. "Hi... babies," he whispered, overwhelmed. "Welcome to the world."

"Welcome, Liam Rock Jr. and Alina Sarena," Rain whispered weakly, her voice soft with awe as she gazed at the tiny faces of her newborn twins, a boy and a girl, fraternal but both equally perfect.

The boy was named after Alexander’s father, the man who had become a pillar of strength in their lives. And the girl... after Rain’s own twin sister, Alina, whose memory still lived in her heart every day.

Tears welled in her eyes as she looked at them, nestled safely in her arms. Her heart was full.

Despite everything - the pain, the past, the scars - this moment felt like pure grace. She silently thanked God for this blessing, for another chance to love, to protect, to start again.

Alexander sat beside her, one hand around her shoulders, the other gently brushing the baby’s tiny hand.

They had been through storms but this... this was their sunrise.

And in that quiet, sacred moment, surrounded by soft cries and blinking monitors, their story expanded, no longer just about surviving, but growing, living, loving. Their family was whole.
