Superhero Class: Finding Meaning of Life in another world -
Chapter 61: Julie SilverRose
Chapter 61: Julie SilverRose
"Aye! Little nose picker, now that you have awakened, would you like to spar..."
Elizabeth said in a strange tone, her eyes even narrowing slightly.
"No! Never," Lucas immediately denied without a moment of hesitation.
Elizabeth didn’t seem to care about his opinion and started to drag him towards the open area.
"Elder sister, I have just awakened, I am not familiar with my class skills."
"No worries, isn’t it even better? With this spar you can familiarize yourself."
Dawn blinked his eyes innocently and watched the scene with a slight grin. He was very interested in knowing just how strong his elder siblings were.
Elizabeth seemed to have noticed Dawn’s reaction and immediately said, "Look, even younger brother Dawn is excited. If you don’t agree, I am sure he will be sad."
"This is not what I mean..." Lucas wanted to say something to explain his actions but suddenly fell silent, looking in one particular direction of the room.
Huh? Dawn’s Superhero’s danger sense skill made his head buzz as if he was in the middle of a great battlefield.
Under the eyes of everyone, the space around Elizabeth rippled and a figure appeared.
Woosh!
Out of nowhere, a woman dressed in complete white had appeared as if she had teleported. The woman’s body was perfectly seductive, capable of invoking burning emotion in any man, black obsidian eyes and long black hair that flowed behind her back like a waterfall.
"Master!!"
Elizabeth pouted and said in a low voice.
This woman was none other than Elizabeth’s master Julie SilverRose, a woman whose strength level wasn’t known.
But given how respectfully Theodore treated her, her strength was at least above gold rank.
At least a platinum rank warrior, not some random Tom and Harry.
Dawn looked at his elder sister’s master with a dazed look in his eyes. A sense of sizzling hotness suddenly seemed to emerge, especially when his eyes landed on those two proud peaks that looked as if they were going to pierce the thin fabrics that trapped them.
Julie’s expression was cold as ice. She ignored everyone and looked in Elizabeth’s direction with a plain gaze.
"..."
An unusual but heavy silence suddenly seemed to have enveloped the room.
As moments passed, Elizabeth’s face seemed to turn red like a tomato with each passing second.
Just before the situation could turn even more awkward, Elizabeth opened her mouth to speak.
"Master, what are you doing here... is there anything you need?"
Elizabeth’s face was filled with confusion as if she didn’t really understand why her master would suddenly appear here.
Elizabeth’s face froze in an instant, a forced smile creeping onto her lips.
"M-Master... uh... what a surprise! Haha..."
Her feet subtly inched backward, slow and calculated, like a guilty child caught stealing cookies.
Julie’s gaze, cold as a winter storm, followed her every movement.
Elizabeth gulped, then abruptly spun on her heel—
"WELL THEN, OFF TO TRAINING, BYE!"
She bolted out of the room so fast that even a Wind Mage would be impressed.
It became clear to everyone she was out here playing when she was supposed to train.
Dawn looked at her antics and sighed.
Personally, he was starting to miss the vibes of Eternal battlefield; compared to that, reality was boring as hell.
He couldn’t even show off.
Julie SilverRose stood like an unshakable monument, her very presence altering the air in the room. The temperature seemed to drop by a few degrees.
Her black obsidian eyes scanned them, sharp and dissecting, as if seeing through flesh and bone.
Elizabeth’s presence was already gone, but Julie didn’t look away just yet.
She let the silence stretch—long, unbearable, suffocating.
Then, in a voice that was neither loud nor soft but cut through the room like a blade, she spoke.
"I know all of you have missed Elizabeth, but let me remind you--Dont waste her time all the time."
"If you are that free then give some to your training."
Her gaze seemed to be filled with complete disregard as she lectured the two Skylar siblings in a cold tone.
She continued to ramble for some time, only then she came to stop.
After a last cold snort, she left walking elegantly with her hips swaying sideways.
....
"What a woman!"
Lucas immediately sighed and came to Dawn’s side to cheer him up in case he was feeling bad.
Julie’s words were really harsh just a moment ago, but he couldn’t say anything to refute her words, after all, Elizabeth was one of the most talented people that he had ever seen.
Just in her early twenties and she was about to breakthrough and reach Gold rank; such monstrous speed filled his heart with despair.
Contrary to Lucas’ thought process, Dawn had already forgotten about Julie’s words or decided to ignore them on purpose, definitely not because he was weaker than her currently.
"Let me tell you about the class that awakened..."
With a proud look on his face, Lucas started to brag. Dawn attentively listened and even nodded from time to time.
Fiona stood like a loyal guard watching the room silently. Soon the peaceful atmosphere once again enveloped the room.
...
That evening.
Mesarith City gleamed under the glow of magicka bulbs, each light casting a soft, golden shimmer over the polished streets.
Ribbons of every color swayed with the wind, adorning balconies, lamp posts, and grand archways.
Despite the festive appearance, an undercurrent of tension rippled through the air.
Guards, clad in their finest uniforms, patrolled in pairs, their eyes scanning every alley and rooftop with measured wariness.
Merchants whispered anxiously, tightening their grips on their wares. Nobles adjusted their robes, stealing glances toward the sky.
Something was coming.
"Little brother, walk a little faster or we will be left behind."
Lucas stopped to look at Dawn and said.
A slow, creeping heat spread through Dawn’s palm.
Not the warmth of fire, but something deeper—something unnatural.
His fingers twitched. A phantom sensation pulsed beneath the white glove, as if something alive was trying to crawl out from his skin.
Dawn stiffened, his instincts screaming at him.
His eyes darted around. The festive city, the cheerful voices, the shimmering magicka bulbs—everything looked the same.
And yet... something was wrong.
A presence. Something unseen. Watching.
Lucas’s voice snapped him out of it.
"What’s wrong?"
Dawn inhaled sharply. He forced a grin, rubbing his stomach.
"Nothing, big bro! I just smelled something tasty."
Lucas chuckled, easily fooled.
But Dawn wasn’t fooled.
Something was here. And his Abyssal Mark knew it before he did.
After this short incident, the two of them resumed walking, and in no time they were in the center of the city.
The first thing that came in Dawn’s sight was a large, beautifully decorated stage.
His father Theodore and three men stood there solemnly as if waiting for someone to arrive.
Suddenly they seemed to have noticed something, and their gazes collectively turned towards the sky.
Dawn also noticed something and turned his head upwards.
Just with a single glance, his eyes widened in awe.
