Chapter 835: Chapter 845: This Is How I Killed That Woman! (Part 2)

The faces of the people around turned grim; no one expected this scene to unfold.

Looking at the bullet casings on the ground, then at Tang Zhong among the casings, their faces grew even darker.

Just moments ago, bullets had rained down—how did this guy manage to evade them?

Unbelievable!

The black gang leader scowled fiercely and immediately grabbed his gun, shouting furiously: "Die!"

In that instant, the gun barrel spewed flames again, and the other Gatling guns came alive, but this time, Tang Zhong moved faster than all of them.

He surged forward like a lightning bolt.

In an instant, the Tang Sword in his hand began to swing.

His footwork was even faster.

He seemed to transform completely into motion itself.

He weaved through the crowd.

Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh—darting rapidly; one moment he was inside the tavern, and in the next, he might be atop the roof.

Wherever he moved, not a sound was heard.

Soon, Tang Zhong returned to the spot where he had originally stood, his face adorned with a signature smile.

Looking at those around him, not a single person had moved from where they stood.

Finally, the next moment brought screams.

The man holding the handgun let it drop to the ground, and along with it, his arms— severed and bloody.

Cries of agony began to pierce the air.

Even those on the rooftop, wracked with pain, plummeted straight down.

Those who had brandished weapons, flaunting them in Tang Zhong’s face, now lay trembling on the ground, their guns discarded.

Witnessing this scene, Giger, who had been watching in the tavern all along, grew visibly pale at the sudden turn of events. He had been clutching a small remote control, but with the force of his grip, the device had shattered!

"I told you, we’re no match for him. A person like this—it has to be me handling him!" laughed Hu Gego beside him.

"Go, but do not reveal your identity!" Giger said coldly. "Eliminate him as quickly as possible; ensure he doesn’t walk out alive!"

"Don’t worry, I’ll shred him!" At this moment, Hu Gego rose to his feet.

Outside, Tang Zhong paid no attention to the fallen crowd at his feet; his gaze had long been fixed in Hu Gego’s direction. Almost time—that person inside should be coming out by now.

In the next moment, Hu Gego stepped out slowly, still wrapped in his black robe from before.

Under Tang Zhong’s eyes, something shifted—his gaze turned blood-red instantly. That black robe—it was something he would never forget for the rest of his life. Never.

The one who murdered Weiwei.

This thought tightened Tang Zhong’s fists until his knuckles turned white.

At this exact moment, Tang Zhong’s gaze burned with a crimson fury.

Hu Gego in the black robe emerged, his face twisted in a sinister grin. After halting his steps, he said coldly: "Tang Zhong, you’ve been looking for me, haven’t you? Well, here I am!"

"Indeed," Tang Zhong replied, his voice frigid.

"So, what is it you plan to do to me?" Hu Gego said, icily.

"I think I’ll kill you," Tang Zhong responded coldly.

"You... don’t forget, you killed my grandson, Adam!" Hu Gego’s voice stiffened.

"Killing is killing—do I owe you an explanation?" Tang Zhong answered icily.

The veins in his arms and forehead bulged prominently.

At this moment, he resembled a volcano ready to erupt at any second.

"Speaking of killing, when I slaughtered your Tang Family, I wonder how it felt? Was it deeply satisfying for you, perhaps?" Hu Gego sneered.

"You... courting death! Adam deserved it!" Tang Zhong roared.

Typically calm and collected, Tang Zhong now found it impossible to stay composed. The only thing on his mind was slaying Hu Gego.

In that instant, his blood surged and exploded forth, Tang Sword in hand, feet springing into motion. His entire being launched into the air, charging forward with all his might.

The searing Tang Sword came crashing down, aimed directly at Hu Gego!

"Die!"

As the Tang Sword was about to strike Hu Gego, he smirked coldly: "A fool who doesn’t know his limits!"

Immediately, Hu Gego moved backward several paces.

Tang Zhong’s blade struck the ground instead, carving out a long trench, sending dust flying everywhere.

A missed strike.

Tang Zhong once again swung his blade toward Hu Gego’s position.

A phantom blade traced its path toward Hu Gego’s form.

Hu Gego leapt into the air again.

The blade surged forward, embedding itself in the tavern ahead—a structure of aged timber collapsing with the slash.

A deafening rumble echoed.

Tang Zhong, by this point, had descended into frenzy. He had to kill Hu Gego.

With the Tang Sword in hand, he began slashing wildly.

Sword energy flashed everywhere.

Where the blows landed, explosions erupted in every direction!

Yet, he couldn’t even graze Hu Gego!

"You’re too weak!" Hu Gego said coldly, standing in midair.

Tang Zhong said nothing, continuing his relentless attacks. Now that his enemy stood before him, how could he hold back?

The Tang Sword swung forcefully.

This place seemed like the end of the world.

"Still too weak!" Hu Gego sneered.

At this moment, Hu Gego began to counterattack, sweeping his sleeve to collide with Tang Zhong’s Tang Sword.

The clash sent both men staggering backward.

"First on the Black List—your reputation is well-deserved!" Hu Gego said, retreating before stopping in his tracks, smiling coldly. "But you still must die!"

Instantly, he sprang forward again, his fists glowing.

The power of his punches amplified several times over as they barreled straight toward Tang Zhong.

Tang Zhong’s eyebrow furrowed sharply as he dodged with sudden movement.

With a boom, Hu Gego’s punch hit the ground, leaving a massive crater, dust billowing.

Hu Gego’s strength was undeniable.

Missing his strike, Hu Gego straightened himself, then looked at Tang Zhong and sneered coldly: "Impressive agility, I must say. In my years dominating both World Wars, no one has ever dodged my punches. Tang Zhong, you’re here for revenge, aren’t you? In coming to Yun Country, though, you’ve only signed your death warrant!"

As his words finished, Hu Gego raised his arm directly facing Tang Zhong.

"I killed your Tang Family—you look furious, don’t you? But what does rage accomplish? I recall, perfectly, killing that woman. Tsk tsk, she was noble, sacrificing herself for you. She pled for your safety, saying, ’Kill me, then never trouble him again.’ I mean, really, how can someone be so foolish?"

Tang Zhong’s eyes burned crimson at these words—there was no doubt now; that woman was Weiwei.

"What’s wrong? Feeling angry?" Hu Gego teased with a laugh. "That woman must’ve meant a lot to you, huh? Ha! And when I killed her, she looked just like this!"

As his words landed, glowing beams began to condense in Hu Gego’s hand, forming into a laser that shot explosively toward Tang Zhong.

(It’s getting late—time for three self-imposed drinks!)
