Su Chengyu saw a pleasure boat coming straight at him, about to collide. He paddled and used his Mana from the soles of his feet, shifting the boat swiftly to the left, just passing by the Shalong Gang’s luxury cruise ship.

The group of people on the deck of the luxury boat saw both Su Chengyu and Yu Yanshu.

Su Chengyu couldn’t be bothered with these people, he moved away from them with a stroke of his paddle.

"Indeed a beauty, what a pity she already has a master." The man at the front said with regret.

"If Captain Shao likes her, invite her up, regardless of whether she has a master." A man beside him flattered.

Yu Yanshu naturally had no interest in this invitation and refused without hesitation: "I’m sorry, I don’t know you and I have no interest in boarding."

Su Chengyu remained by Yu Yanshu’s side, letting her deal with the situation herself.

Qin Shian proudly stated, "Seems like you are foreigners since you don’t even recognize Shalong Gang’s flag. The owner of that boat is the leader of Shalong Gang; he is fond of music, and your voice moved him. More so, being invited up there to perform, if you do well, Captain Shao will lavish you with gifts."

Despite having no feelings for Qin Shian, Yu Yanshu managed to control her emotions, and in a soft voice asked, "Master, is Shalong Gang very powerful?"

Su Chengyu responded casually, "It’s a prominent faction in Yun Province, quite formidable. But fear not, nobody can force you to do anything against your will."

After hearing Su Chengyu’s words, Yu Yanshu felt more comfortable and turned to Qin Shian, "In that case, it seems the captain is from Shalong Gang. However, I am not a professional singer and was just indulging myself by singing randomly earlier. It definitely won’t do well on stage. I am flattered and appreciate Captain Shao’s admiration."

Being a smart girl, Yu Yanshu knew to stay low-profile in Yun Province. Unlike Jiangdong, Yun Province was teeming with experts and many are simply itching for a fight. Hence, one shouldn’t casually offend local forces, lest it causes trouble for her master. To avoid conflict, she replied in a polite and non-committal fashion.

However, Qin Shian had lost his patience, his expression darkened, "Young lady, you better not refuse when you are offered politely. If you don’t cooperate, then I will know to forcibly drag you there."

With that, Qin Shian reached out with his claw-like hand, trying to grab onto Yu Yanshu.

Yu Yanshu was no delicate damsel, though. With the strength comparable to a Ninth Grade Grandmaster, she was capable of standing her ground against Qin Shian. She twisted her body to avoid his grab, then attacked back with a palm strike.

Standing there with his oar, Su Chengyu stepped up beside Yu Yanshu and shielded her. He then said to Qin Shian, "Are you deaf? She told you she is not willing."

"Kid, this isn’t your business. You better keep your mouth shut and go back to rowing your boat. Otherwise, I will throw you into this Yan Gui Lake to feed the fishes." Qin Shian had not regarded Su Chengyu as a threat from the beginning, thus his casual threats.

"Good idea." Su Chengyu responded nonchalantly.

"Why are you still here then?" Qin Shian bellowed.

Suddenly, with a swipe of the oar, Su Chengyu splashed water from the lake towards Qin Shian- the water transforming into countless little water swords.

Upon seeing this, Qin Shian’s complexion turned grim. He gathered his energy and balled it into his fist, aiming to shatter the water swords with a charge of his fist.

The water swords knocked down Qin Shian and sent him flying tens of meters away from the boat, into the lake. He swam to the surface coughing and spluttering, like a dog stuck in the water.

Su Chengyu didn’t want to make unnecessary enemies. He controlled the strength of his attack to only knock down Qin Shian into the lake, without inflicting serious harm.

Seeing Qin Shian being thrown into the lake, one of the men on the luxury ship exclaimed, "Shian actually fell into the lake. Seems like we’ve got a special one here."

Sha Tianyang simply responded, "It’s normal though- with the exchange meeting of The League of Loyalty just around the corner, many experts have gathered in Yun City."

"Even so, they shouldn’t be so arrogant. After all, we run Yun Province now. And they even hurt our people. Captain Shao, let me go and show them we aren’t to be messed with. Or they’ll think Yun Province is a place without people, and this will damage our reputation as Shalong Gang."

"No rash actions," Sha Tianyang responded. "I’ll go take a look myself."
