Chapter 531: Chapter 531: Feng Shui Big Master Wei Jingyi_1

"Shu Yu Ge is going to perform in Suifeng, do you want to go?" Lin Chuxue asked with a hint of jealousy.

"No interest, I’m not a star-chaser." Su Chengyu spoke up righteously.

"If you guys want to go, I can arrange it." The talent scout quickly offered.

"Didn’t you hear what my husband said? He doesn’t chase stars, and we’re not interested in becoming celebrities, so stop following us!"

With a cold expression, Lin Chuxue quickly took Su Chengyu and Yu Yanshu by the arms and left Dongchen University.

Watching the three of them leave, the talent scout looked disgruntled. His eyes flickered with anger and a hint of malicious intent.

"Hmph! Ungrateful! Once I’ve set my sights on you, you don’t get a say in the matter."

The scout quietly followed Su Chengyu and the others out of Dongchen University.

"Chu Xue, do you guys know Shu Yu Ge?" Yu Yanshu was a fan of Shu Yu Ge and had bought her albums.

"I’m not close to her, but your master is. She’s an old flame of his." Lin Chuxue revealed.

"What?!"

Yu Yanshu looked surprised, having no idea that her favorite star once had a fling with her master.

"Don’t listen to her nonsense, I barely know Shu Yu Ge, we aren’t even friends." Su Chengyu quickly denied.

Typical Lin Chuxue, always the jealous type.

"If Shu Yu Ge heard what you just said, she would be heartbroken. Last time she sent someone to warn you when she found out you might be in danger." Lin Chuxue mumbled.

She wouldn’t actually get mad at Su Chengyu, but she couldn’t help feeling a bit jealous.

"Master, you’re a real charmer. I think Shu Yu Ge is not as pretty as Chu Xue, she just has a nice voice." Yu Yanshu commented.

"If I were to become a singer, I might not sing worse than her." Lin Chuxue said, full of arrogance.

"Should we go sing tonight?" Yu Yanshu suggested.

"Alright." Lin Chuxue agreed.

Upon leaving Dongchen University, the trio hailed a taxi back to their hotel, with the scout following behind in another car.

"ChengYu, that scout is following us." Lin Chuxue pointed out.

Su Chengyu gave a faint nod, a cold smirk appearing on his face. Then he spread out his Divine Sense. The scout driving felt a sudden piercing headache, his vision blurring. His car swerved, jumped the curb, and crashed into a shop’s wall, making it impossible for him to continue following Su Chengyu’s party.

Back at the hotel, Su Chengyu told Lin Chuxue, "I’m heading out to meet someone."

"Who are you meeting?" Lin Chuxue inquired.

Chuckling as he pinched Lin Chuxue’s nose, Su Chengyu reassured, "Don’t worry, it’s not Shu Yu Ge. I’m not that bored."

"I didn’t say it was Shu Yu Ge. Isn’t this like ’a guilty person gives himself away by feeling overly anxious’?" Lin Chuxue covered her mouth and chuckled.

"It’s someone from Golden Holy Door. I want to learn more about the big tomb and maybe gather some news about the trade meeting." Su Chengyu explained.

"Come back soon." Lin Chuxue nodded.

Su Chengyu leaves the hotel, walks into an alley and changes his appearance to Su Cheng, then calls Zhou Li, Chen Yuanheng’s elder martial brother.

"You’re Mr. Su Cheng, right? Have you arrived in Suifeng?"

Zhou Li is a disciple of the Golden Holy Door’s Inner Sect. He once explored a tomb with Chen Yuanheng and was saved by Chen. Later, when Chen Yuanheng retired from the Holy Door, Zhou Li became an inner disciple. The two of them have maintained a relationship since then.

Chen Yuanheng told Zhou Li that Su Chengyu is a very powerful person, proficient in the areas of Feng Shui and Kanyu, and has a Cultivator’s support, so Zhou Li should handle him with due respect.

"I’ve arrived. Let’s meet up." Su Chengyu suggested.

"Mr. Su, where are you? I’ll send a car." Zhou Li offered.

"No need. Just give me the address, I’ll come on my own."

Zhou Li owns a fairly large antique store on Wenmiao Street in Suifeng, so Su Chengyu heads over by taxi.

The antique street is very bustling, with a lot of customers going in and out. Apart from shops at both sides of the streets, many vendors are selling antiques and vintage items on pavement stalls. However, among these items, nine out ten are fakes.

Upon entering Zhou Li’s antique store, Su Chengyu notes the old-fashioned decorations and the spacious interior. It’s two-storeyed, and it also has a large yard out the back.

The store is filled with a myriad of items, including antique porcelain, various famous paintings and jade artifacts.

"Sir, welcome! If there are any antiques you are interested in, I can provide recommendations. Our store guarantees that all items are genuine, if any are found to be fake, we will compensate ten times its price."

A friendly store assistant greets him.

"I’m not here to buy anything, I’m looking for your boss." said Su Chengyu nonchalantly.

"Are you Mr. Su Cheng?" the assistant asked.

Su Chengyu nodded and the assistant continued, "Our boss is entertaining a guest in the backyard. He said when you arrive, to have you rest and have some tea first. Please, follow me."

The assistant leads Su Chengyu into the backyard where he runs into Zhou Li who has just stepped out from an adjacent room.

"Boss, Mr. Su Cheng is here." the assistant announced.

"No need to be formal. You continue with your meeting, we can chat later." Su Chengyu replied with a slight nod.

"Let’s meet them together. This guest has a big reputation. We might have to rely on him when venturing into the tomb again." Zhou Li seriously suggested.

Su Chengyu followed Zhou Li into the room where an old man and a young woman were seated. The old man appeared distinguished with his white hair and beard, while the attractive young woman sitting next to him radiated a sense of pride.

"Let me introduce you. This is Mr. Wei Jingyi, also known as Old Wei, the most reputable Fengshui master in Danyang and part of our eight gates as part of the profound doors. Miss Wei Ying is Old Wei’s granddaughter. This gentleman is Mr. Su Cheng from Jiangdong."

"Nice to meet you." Su Chengyu said, giving a small smile.

Wei Jingyi glanced at Su Chengyu, took a sip from his tea cup, and continued to ignore him. His granddaughter Wei Ying on the other hand did pay attention to Su Chengyu, looking slightly surprised.

"A Jiangdong fellow, rather handsome. But I wonder what skills he has? Is he also looking to join the tomb expedition?" Wei Ying questioned.

"Mr. Su is also proficient in Feng Shui and Kanyu and is very powerful. Having him with us provides an extra safety net." Zhou Li explained.

"What are you implying? Isn’t my grandfather’s presence sufficient? Look at his age, he can’t be more than twenty, and yet he dares proclaim himself adept at Feng Shui and Kanyu? This is really like showing off one’s slight skills in the presence of an expert! As to his power, how strong can he really be? A Martial Arts Master? This tomb is dangerous. If a Martial Arts Master goes down there, it’ll be suicide. He won’t be of any help, and would only become a burden."

Wei Ying spoke very rudely, a sneer playing on her lips.

Su Chengyu raised the corner of his mouth slightly, not bothering to refute her.

Zhou Li looked embarrassed. He didn’t want to offend either party. The purpose of this meeting was supposed to be for everyone to get to know each other and form an expeditions’ team to the tomb, but it seemed it was off to a bad start.
