“Great, we can’t wait for them to fight us now, but these guys know they can’t beat us, so they can only keep hiding,” the Silver Moon Fox was also not having an easy time but he persevered.

The Silver Moon Fox continued, “Once we’ve killed them and if the people from the Dragon Slaying Clan don’t give us the antidote, we’ll wipe them out too.”

Behind him, Little Four said, “I think we’re good to go.”

Little Four listened and chuckled softly, “We’re all going to pray for you.”

“None of us want anything bad to happen to you. Without you, who’ll help us fight the Dragon Slaying Clan? Who else can match the Dragon Soul? World peace is still up to you.”

“Haha, you sure know how to flatter.”

He mumbled to himself.

Little Four said, “Good luck.”

“Enough, if I don’t make it across in one hour, you’ll have to figure something out on your own.”

Ye Chen shouted and the White Eagle took flight. Laying on its back and facing the wind, he rushed forward as it whistled past his ears.

This creature wasn’t half bad.

It was almost like he had grown wings himself, aside from some trembling, everything else felt fine.

Now hanging mid-air, his fear of heights made him quite afraid.

Suddenly, several large monsters appeared from the other side, their roars resounding through the air.

You’ve got to be kidding me, he thought, this must be hitting the jackpot.

The several dark monsters, their nature unknown with dark eyes as well, seemed to have locked onto their prey and were rushing over as if they were males that had never seen a female before.

Ye Chen glanced at them, cursed under his breath, wondering why he ended up with a female which obviously attracted those monsters!

He quickly yelled out, “Run! To that forest, hurry!”

The Big White Eagle also sensed the threat, intending to circle in the air for a while more, but at that moment, over a dozen black-headed beasts, howling, zoomed over like arrows.

Ye Chen gripped the rope around the Big White Eagle’s neck tightly, not daring to look down, feeling as if he were falling, while Fireballs “swooshed…” continuously flying past, some even overhead.

The once quiet sky suddenly thundered.

“Am I really this lucky?” Ye Chen could hardly believe it was happening.

Several creatures, as if hiding in the forest below, were awakened by the roar overhead and flew out directly. Ye Chen had been planning to take refuge in the forest, but the black monsters were blocking the path straight ahead, ready to encircle him.

Ye Chen quickly released two palms, knocking down two of the creatures in front, but others were still arriving from behind. With one arm firmly around the White Eagle to ensure he would not be thrown off, he quickly drew the Moonlight Sword from his back with his other hand.

As two monsters tried to catch the White Eagle, Ye Chen dispatched sword shadows that cut down the two fearless creatures. Facing a whole group coming for them, Ye Chen summoned a rain of swords to shake off those that got too close.

But that seemed to attract every creature in the sky.

Seeing the trouble, Ye Chen pointed downwards, knowing he needed to make it to the ground. Falling might offer a slight chance of survival. He could only wield his sword with one hand, which limited his power, while swarms of black-headed monsters charged at them.

“Damned Red Demonic Spirit, come out and help already. Are you waiting to see how I’m going to crash to the ground?”

The Red Demonic Spirit leisurely extended two long arms, like gaining another set of limbs, helping Ye Chen fend off the black-headed monsters that rushed toward the White Eagle from behind.

Ye Chen shifted his focus forward, leaving the rear to the Red Demonic Spirit while he cleared the way for the White Eagle.

However, the incoming Fireballs were no trivial matter, especially not in the sky.
