A thunder strike loomed overhead, sparking a lightning bolt.

Ye Chen struck out with his palm, creating a half-light wave on contact with the hammer. With a boom, a powerful blast was triggered, nearly forcing Ye Chen to his knees. Lightning scattered in all directions, causing the ground around Ye Chen to look battle-scarred.

Ye Chen was shocked. He had underestimated the power of this brute’s hammer. He quickly elevated his martial strength, withstood the blast and stabilized the situation.

Shen Shang was equally surprised. He never expected this little brat to withstand his hammer strike. He had underestimated him.

With a leap and a stomp on the ground, Shen Shang was airborne, soaring about 30 feet high before swooping down. In the open sky, he held his hammer in both hands, releasing red lightning bolts.

Before the hammer could reach Ye Chen, a tornado was already upon him.
