We can’t give up the present beauty because of something that might happen in a hundred years,” Ye Chen continued, “There are things beyond our control. Once we accept that, we should carry on with life.”

Ling’er answered with a cold smile.

“Do you think what I said makes no sense?”

Mu Wanlan quickly responded, “It does make sense, I didn’t know you understood this.”

“I heard it from a gossip,” Ye Chen said.

“We’ve arrived. We’ve walked for quite a while, let’s rest in the pavilion ahead. The environment there seems good, let’s have something to eat.”

Li Mo said, “Then I’ll go get some food.”
