Ye Chen quickly said, “You’ve nearly wrecked his Breeze Ship, and now what else do you want? If he doesn’t throw you into the sea and drown you, you should be thankful.”

“So, I should be grateful that he, the generous, overlooked my faults and spared my life?”

Ye Chen looked at the furious Nangong Yan and smiled again, “Shouldn’t you be? After all you’ve done, if it were my ship, I wouldn’t let you off so easily either. Girl, you need to learn gratitude.”

Nangong Yan murmured, “I won’t thank him. Let him kill or carve me up as he pleases; I won’t beg him.”

Ye Chen shook his head upon hearing this, wondering how to deal with this foolish girl. Truly, like father, like daughter.

Having heard this, Nangong Yan was stunned, then blurted out, “Why should I get to know Shao Hengjiang again? Speaking of prejudice, I say you’re the one who’s been brainwashed, dazzled by his kindness, an utter fool, deceived by a few words.”
