The smile on Richard’s face turned stiff. He had already mentioned the Head Master of the Lin family, but it still didn’t work?
Bei Sangyun’s stubbornness and her cold rejection had mutilated his pride many times.
Richard’s eyes glinted. He was also losing patience. But outwardly, he still maintained his gentle facade. "But you are our host. Isn’t it right to ask you than to burden the others? Besides, I am more inclined to be led by you."
"I’ve already served my purpose as a host. I welcomed you, arranged your servants, and sent you the things you needed. Do you expect me to babysit the two of you at every moment? I am not your servant." She’s done babysitting them.
Richard’s gentle facade was slowly breaking. Bei Sangyun’s arrogant attitude and her obvious disdain toward him had constantly provoked him. His clenched hand under the table betrayed the temper he was trying to hold in.
"A servant? You must be misunderstanding something. I have never considered you a servant. Our families are friends, so I also wanted to be your friend. I am sincere about making friends with you. But I never expected that you would look at us in this way." Richard lowered his head to appear sad.
The onlookers who had been watching them couldn’t help but wonder why this handsome blonde man appeared to be hurt while conversing with the tyrant. Could it be he was also being bullied by the tyrant?
Those who understood a bit of French helped their friends who were asking what was happening. They translate what Richard said. They empathized with Richard. He was facing the tyrant, of course, he would be crushed.
The tyrant was really cruel even towards a foreigner.
Fei Chuan was sensitive to his surroundings. With how people gazed at Bei Sangyun as if she were a villain and how they looked at Richard pitifully, he could summarize what was happening.
He frowned. "She said she doesn’t have time to bother with you, so screw off." Fei Chuan interrupted and glared at Richard. He spoke in fluent French so this bastard could understand.
Richard gazed at Fei Chuan. The sad look in his eyes disappeared. "I wasn’t talking to you. It’s rude to interrupt when people are conversing."
"Conversing? As if. You are bothering her. She said she doesn’t want to, yet you are forcing her to do what you want. You are way ruder than someone interrupting a conversation."
The more Richard interacted with Fei Chuan, the more he disliked him. This skinny, cowardly bastard was acting high and mighty just because Bei Sangyun was on his side.
Richard narrowed his eyes. He leaned forward and lowered his tone so only the three of them at the table could hear what he said. "You’re acting tough because you licked her shoes? She indeed trained you to become her obedient dog. You’re nothing but her toy."
That crossed the line.
Anger flashed in Bei Sangyun’s eyes. She took the bowl of soup she hadn’t finished eating and poured it on Richard’s head.
Splash.
Everyone was stunned by the sudden change of events.
Even Fei Chuan and Richard were surprised by Bei Sangyun’s action.
Bei Sangyun forcefully placed the bowl on the table. In the quiet cafeteria, the sound of a loud thud echoed.
She squinted at him, "You dare run your mouth in front of me? If he is my dog or toy, it’s none of your business. But since you dare mock him in front of me, would I just let you be? Don’t test my patience, Richard."
Bei Sangyun turned to the stunned Fei Chuan, "Are you done, right? Let’s go. Someone just ruined my appetite."
Fei Chuan took his container and gave one glance at the silent Richard. His eyes squinted when he caught him smiling under his drenched blonde hair.
Fei Chuan frowned as he left, deep in thought.

"Oh my goodness! Are you alright?" Lin Sunji ran to Richard’s side and passed him a clean towel.
Everyone in the cafeteria hadn’t moved on from the sudden drama. Their attention was still on Richard. Those who knew some French were assisting him and comforting him.
When Lin Sunji arrived, they stepped back a bit to give her space, but they still surrounded the two.
Richard smiled, "This is nothing. I must have made her angry. Although I am not sure why she got angry. It must have been my fault."
One of the onlookers who understood French and served as a translator earlier commented helplessly, "The tyrant is like that. She is like a bomb ready to erupt at any moment. It’s unfortunate that you picked the wrong time and place to approach her."
Another translator also gave an explanation while trying to comfort Richard, "The tyrant has been always that harsh. It’s not your fault. Whoever it is, she acts the way she wants. She’s a tyrant for a reason."
"Yeah...."
Once someone started, many people also commented about Bei Sangyun’s tyranny. They explained to him that it was just her tyrant way and advised him to avoid her as much as possible so he won’t be targeted by her.
Richard lowered his eyes as he continued to listen. Although everyone seemed to be condemning Bei Sangyun for her tyranny, everyone had accepted it and did not harbor any resentment toward her. They normalized her actions and even gave out explanations.
It was obvious that Bei Sangyun’s image in these people was so high that even if he ruined her reputation even more, her image wouldn’t be much affected.
But...
Richard’s eyes glinted. In this exchange, he discovered a very interesting thing.
When he attacked Fei Chuan earlier, Bei Sangyun acted swiftly, like a mother hen protecting its chick. She got angry and even made a move on him, which she hadn’t done before.
It wasn’t her father nor Head Master Lin that was her weakness; it was that skinny Fei Chuan.
Richard smiled evilly. Interesting.
Now, he knew how to go forward.
