SSS Class Awakening: Start With A God-Level Choice System
Chapter 102: S-rank World Origin Fragment

Chapter 102: S-rank World Origin Fragment

Ainsworth knew that with his current power, he could already be considered a powerhouse of the human race.

Although his Awakener rank was only at Three-Star A-rank, his true base power was already at Three-Star S-rank. He even had multiple buffs and transformation abilities that allowed him to increase that base power and a conservative estimate would reach SS-rank Awakener power.

Even the most powerful organizations in Terra had only SS-rank Awakeners, while weaker forces had S-rank Awakeners. After all, only thirteen SSS-rank Awakeners were publicized to exist so even if there were SSS-rank Awakeners who had hidden themselves from public view, it still wouldn’t be much.

Moreover, the current principal of Edenbridge High School was only at the peak of SS-rank while some had speculated he had already stepped half a foot into SSS-rank power.

An SS-rank Awakener’s power was already enough to make the demon race and monster race who kept invading Earth a run for their money.

Furthermore, even with his current power, he might not be able to compete with his sister Kyla’s attack power but defeating her still shouldn’t be a problem. For him to achieve this much in just one Otherworld Mission, even if he had worked hard and didn’t slack off, the God-Level Choice System’s influence was still indispensable.

After he had used up all the rewards relevant to improving his strength, Ainsworth checked the remaining relevant reward he had, which was the S-rank World Origin Fragment.

’From what I have known, a world origin fragment is lesser than a world origin core. A world origin fragment depending on its size can be as small as less than 1% of the world’s total world origin or can be as high as 49%.’

’Its rank of S-rank meant that it came from roughly an S-rank world, a world where the power level limit was S-rank. So, I am certain that this world origin didn’t come from the Zombie Apocalypse World.’

When Ainsworth checked the size of the world origin fragment and asked the Voice of The World, he soon received the answer of the S-rank world origin fragment being as big as 30% of an S-rank world’s world origin.

Moreover, Ainsworth could see that even among S-rank worlds, this S-rank World Origin Fragment came from a powerful S-rank world as its quality was top-notch.

’Even with the world origin that the Earth Will had plundered from the Zombie Apocalypse World, it shouldn’t be equivalent to 30% of an S-rank world’s world origin.’

’If I’m not mistaken, it’s likely that despite being a newly promoted A-rank world, the Zombie Apocalypse World valued its potential as well as the uniqueness of the sun in its solar system. After all, it’s very rare for a sun to produce sun crystals or have any weird effects that are positive.’

’Even the moon is valuable as it succeeded in transforming the weird sun energy into the lunar equivalent of it. The Earth Will has likely taken that into account when calculating its value and had deemed that keeping the Zombie Apocalypse World is far more valuable in comparison to destroying it for world origin.’

’Even if the Earth Will doesn’t have ownership of the Zombie Apocalypse World, it still could trade with me for the unique resources of the Zombie Apocalypse World. The S-rank World Origin Fragment is likely what it had given me as a sign of goodwill and sincerity.’

Seeing through the intentions of the Earth Will, Ainsworth no longer cared about the cause for receiving an S-rank World Origin Fragment but instead, he pondered, ’How am I going to use this?’

’As far as I remember, certain skills or techniques are needed to use world origin. Most awakeners who aren’t even S-rank Awakeners wouldn’t have access to those skills so even if they received an S-rank world origin fragment, they’ll likely sell it or exchange it for resources that are relevant to them at their current awakener rank.’

’World origin fragments are also dependent on the world they came from. Some world origins haven’t been purified or removed from their attributes. For example, the world origin of a Magical Fantasy World would be more biased toward improving magic-related skills or power.’

’Fortunately, the S-rank world origin fragment given by the Earth Will is a purified one so it contains attribute-less world origin that can be used by anyone as long as they have the method to use it.’

Grateful for the Earth Will’s thoughtfulness, Ainsworth speculated, ’Although I don’t have a specialized method for a world origin fragment’s usage, I still am not lacking in terms of the freedom to do anything I want.’

’In other words, if I use my SSS-rank class exclusive skill Ultimate Freedom, or even use its Override version, absorbing the attribute-less world origin contained within the S-rank world origin fragment is within the possibilities.’

When Ainsworth thought of that, he now wondered, ’In which way should I use it?’

’Although it’s very valuable, its rank isn’t high enough to upgrade either of my classes. It also doesn’t seem to be wise to use it on upgrading my skills as my current skill set is more than enough as I haven’t even used most of them.’

’And besides, my God-Level Choice System already has a precedent of giving out skill upgrade rewards but it has yet to give out a stat crystal reward.’

He figured, ’For most awakeners, they’ll need a lot of stat crystals just to equalize their attributes. Instead, they’d chosen to specialize in a set of attributes due to the cost of purchasing the corresponding stat crystal rank for each stat attribute.’

’Only awakeners who are stuck in a certain rank would focus on increasing the rest of their stat attributes just to at least have some form of improvement on their power. Moreover, most awakeners couldn’t even control their power if they suddenly increased their stat attributes multiple times.’

’However, I have no problems in regards to that due to my God-Level Cooking talent’s proficiency being at the God-Level. So unless I reach a power level above its proficiency level, it’s unlikely for me to not be able to control the surge of stat attributes.’

Shifting his thoughts to the usage of stat crystals, Ainsworth pondered, ’From what I had read before, an SSS-rank stat crystal would usually cost approximately 1% of an SSS-rank world’s total world origin. In other words, it would cost less than 10% of an SSS-rank world’s total world origin to let an Awakener have the ’divine body’ of a god.’

The divine body of a god would refer to just the physical or stat attribute prowess of an average god. After all, an SSS-rank Awakener was already comparable to a god who could destroy moons and planets.

Although classes between Awakeners vary so even among the same power level, a certain "god" awakener might be stronger in terms of destructive power but weaker in another field.

In Ainsworth’s case, he was an all-rounder and due to the millions of superpowers his biological internal archive had saved due to his SSS-rank Virus Evolution Sovereign class, Ainsworth could use almost all superpowers except for those unusual ones like fate manipulation.

Besides, with Ultimate Freedom (SSS), he could do almost everything he wanted as long as he could pay for the energy cost of what he wanted to do.

’With Override: Ultimate Freedom, I should be able to absorb the world origin inside the S-rank world origin fragment and then let it mimic the properties of a stat attribute crystal. If I use it that way, then I should be able to increase one stat attribute to SS+.’

When Ainsworth examined the feasibility of his plan, he believed it was plausible. Although it carried the risk of using up the daily usage of Override: Ultimate Freedom today, he wasn’t worried much since when he returned to Earth, he already had enough trump cards to ensure his safety.

His Override: Ultimate Freedom form was no longer than only transformation or buff state he had as he also had Futureborne Adaptation (SSS) as well as Evolution Override (SSS). And if he were to ever get seriously injured, Miracle Cell Reconstruction (SSS) could be used to even regenerate limbs and organs as long as it wasn’t his heart or brain that was destroyed.

With all those trump cards left, Ainsworth’s cautious personality finally deemed it a worthwhile exchange for daily usage of his Override: Ultimate Freedom state just to increase one of his stat attributes.

Taking out the S-rank world origin fragment, Ainsworth looked at it for a while before decisively activating his Override: Ultimate Freedom state.

As soon as he used it, he felt like he was detached from the world as if everything he could think of could be achieved just because he had the freedom to do so.

Perhaps, the state of someone with omnipotence would have thoughts and feelings like that. As if the world around them was clay they could mold at will.

Ainsworth didn’t let it get to him as it was only a temporary power as it only had a 10-second duration.

With a single thought, Ainsworth gripped the S-rank world origin fragment and absorbed it!
