Yang Yi smiled and said, "I am also a client and collaborator of the janitors."

Elvin let out a breath and then said gravely, "I have to admit, with the resources you’ve mentioned, you have indeed become a force that cannot be ignored in the underworld. First of all, with the janitors, you can upgrade your client level by one or two tiers. And I congratulate you on achieving so much in such a short time; you’ve done quite well."

Smiling, Elvin continued, "But it’s still not enough, at least not enough to make the janitors make significant sacrifices for you. With the capital you have, you are already very powerful. The janitors, as well as the Grey-cloaked People, will pay attention to you, but just paying attention is not enough, do you understand? Because you are not irreplaceable. That is our goal, and as I see it, this goal is achievable."

Elvin finally put down his spoon, and his expression turned serious.

After a long silence, Elvin said gravely, "You mean, you plan to launder money."

"Yes, and we will become the biggest money laundering organization. We have the capital, we have the experience, and most importantly, we have Boer."

Yang Yi leaned forward, looking intently at Elvin, and said, "What do you think are our chances of success? I mean, in monopolizing the underworld’s money laundering channels?"

Elvin said gravely, "With Boer, I believe you can solidify your position. It’s unlikely to monopolize the underworld’s money laundering completely, but it’s plausible to seize a major share. It won’t take too long, five years should be enough for you to become the biggest underground bank."

Yang Yi spread his hands and smiled, "Money does make things easier, doesn’t it?"

"Having money is very important, but it’s not enough on its own; what’s crucial are your other capabilities."

Elvin extended one finger and said solemnly, "Money laundering, arms trade, intelligence capability."

Yang Yi was stunned and whispered, "That’s true?"

Elvin continued, "Your father was our most successful spy among the janitors, but he never accessed the Grey-cloaked People’s core secrets. Yet, he came the closest and was the only one willing to try to convey the secrets out. Unfortunately, he ultimately failed, but it must be said he was the closest to success."

Yang Yi nodded.

After thinking, Elvin continued, "Now, tell me about your detailed plan."

Finally having the opportunity to discuss his plan in detail, Yang Yi did so.

Elvin listened intently to Yang Yi’s explanation and then said gravely, "This plan, actually has many uncontrollable factors, but we are willing to bet on you in a way we haven’t tried before, by letting you try using an almost public double agent status."

Yang Yi finally breathed a sigh of relief, smiled, and said, "That’s great. I assure you that you won’t regret this."

Elvin raised a hand and said solemnly, "Wait a second, the question is how can we believe you won’t be turned by the Grey-cloaked People? As I said before, we consider some to be absolutely loyal, individuals who would never be turned, yet they ultimately did pledge their loyalty to the Grey-cloaked People. I want to know, how can you assure us that you won’t end up like that?"
