Feeling somewhat downcast, Yang Yi didn’t feel much like talking and sat in the airplane seat, his mind elsewhere.

"Boss, boss."

Yang Yi’s thoughts were interrupted by Rodriguez. He looked at Rodriguez and said, "What is it?"

Rodriguez smiled and said, "We’re about to land."

"Okay, what is it?"

"Nothing, just, uh, isn’t private flying great?"

"Yes, private flying is certainly great."

Rodriguez hesitated for a moment but eventually asked, "When are we going to the United States?"

"I don’t know, maybe today, maybe not at all, it’s hard to say right now. Why, missing home?"

Rodriguez gave a dry laugh and said, "Yeah, it’s been a long time since I’ve been home, I really do miss it. Um, I won’t bother you anymore."

Yang Yi’s gaze turned to the window; the plane had already begun its descent. At that moment, he had nothing else to think about.

The plane landed at Carthage Airport, and Yang Yi and Rodriguez left the terminal. He still didn’t know where to go, so he planned to call Elvin after leaving the airport to ask where to meet.

But as soon as Yang Yi stepped out of the terminal, a local-looking middle-aged man approached him and said with a smile, "Please follow me."

With such an abrupt request, Yang Yi looked at the man and asked, "What?"

"Mr. Elvin is waiting for you, please come with me."

The restaurant looked plain, exactly as it seemed from the outside, and since it wasn’t mealtime, there was no one else there except for Elvin, who was sitting at a dining table.

Yang Yi directly sat down across from Elvin, while Rodriguez looked around and eventually chose to sit at the farthest table from them.

After Yang Yi was seated, Elvin smiled and asked, "Have you ever been to Tunisia before?"

Yang Yi shook his head and replied, "No, this is my first time."

"Good. Have you eaten yet? You must try the couscous, deemed to be Tunisia’s national dish, and this restaurant serves excellent couscous. You will surely like it."

After saying that, Elvin gestured to a waiter, "Bring the food now."

The food was already prepared, and soon after Elvin summoned, it was served at Yang Yi’s table, while Rodriguez at his separate table received the same.

Waiting for all the dishes to arrive, Elvin smiled and suggested, "Let’s talk while eating; taste how it is."

Yang Yi took a bite. The so-called couscous was steamed flour turned into a millet-like texture, served with chickpeas, meat, and vegetables, functioning both as a dish and as a staple.

After tasting it, Yang Yi nodded and commented, "The flavor is good."

Elvin smiled and asked, "I’m glad you like it. Why were you in such a hurry to see me, and it had to be in person?"

Yang Yi calmly stated, "I’m going to join the CIA using the identity you provided."

Elvin nodded and asked, "Is that the only reason?"

"Of course not."

Yang Yi put down his spoon, his face serious, "I want to infiltrate the Grey-cloaked People, but I need your cooperation."

Elvin nodded, then said with less formality, "There’s no need to be so serious; let’s talk as we eat. So, you already have a plan, right?"

"Of course."

Yang Yi picked up his spoon again and said sternly, "I want to claim Deyo Mather’s inheritance. Right now, Steve is in our hands, but when I wanted to take over Deyo’s assets, I found out that the Grey-cloaked People were also eyeing his inheritance. However, the Grey-cloaked People suddenly stopped their actions, and I suspect that might be because you were planning to make a move as well, thus causing them to halt temporarily."

Elvin chuckled and responded, "Yes, Deyo’s inheritance is quite tempting, and we indeed want it. But more than that, we’re aiming to prevent the Grey-cloaked People from acquiring that wealth, so we held our ground."

"If I go ahead and take it, would you oppose me?"

Elvin waved his fork and answered, "No opposition, as long as it’s not the Grey-cloaked People who get it. Besides, I must congratulate you; Deyo’s inheritance is quite substantial, isn’t it?"

Yang Yi smiled, "Yes, a very large piece of fat, and we swallowed it whole."

Elvin continued, "Go on, you didn’t call this meeting just for that."

Yang Yi softly said, "I’m entering the CIA to disclose some matters, then I plan to expose myself as a collaborator with the janitor. I think, the Grey-cloaked People should be interested in me, right?"

Elvin thought for a moment and replied, "A double agent? The Grey-cloaked People would definitely be interested, but the question is whether they will give you the chance, I mean the chance to turn you. Generally, in such cases, we simply eliminate the threat, as we don’t believe the Grey-cloaked People can be turned, and similarly, the Grey-cloaked People don’t quite believe that a janitor can be turned by them. Yang Yi said gravely, "I want to know if the janitors are willing to make enough sacrifices to make the Grey-cloaked People trust me."

Yang Yi sighed lightly and said, "I can’t promise anything right now, but I hope you can cooperate with me and see what I can achieve. Once you decide it’s worth investing in me, it won’t be too late to make a decision. What do you think?"

Elvin finally put down his spoon and after a long consideration, he said, "Okay! But if that’s the case, we have a lot to do."

Yang Yi smiled and said, "I understand. At the very least, you need to place absolutely trustworthy people by my side at all times to monitor me, right?"

Elvin did not answer Yang Yi’s question, but said gravely, "The CIA is the Grey-cloaked People’s territory. They have better penetration into the CIA than we do.
