Chapter 518: Chapter 506: Get Started

After firing two shots into the sky, Anton finally achieved the effect he wanted.

Everyone was running outside, including the security personnel; at this moment, if someone moved against the tide, there was no need to think twice, just shoot.

Seeing someone not running but instead coming toward him, Anton raised his hand and fired a shot, regardless of the approaching person’s identity or their intentions for staying behind.

Indiscriminate killing? Nonexistent, such a term did not exist in Anton’s dictionary.

Watching the chaotic crowd swarm out of the nightclub, Yang Yi shouted, "Let’s go in!"

Had the Grey-cloaked People arranged many gunmen in the nightclub? No one knew, but Yang Yi felt that since it was one of the Grey-cloaked People’s strongholds and Gold was inside, there must be some people nearby to guard it.

To prevent being surrounded from the outside and trapped in the nightclub, Yang Yi and his team chose their positions carefully. First, Zhang Yong took three people and occupied a nearby intersection; they did not approach nor enter the nightclub.

Zhang Yong’s job was to block the enemy outside if he spotted the Grey-cloaked People’s reinforcements.

Xiao Ran, of course, remained near the entrance of the nightclub to provide support, while Kate, Chris, and Rodriguez stayed by her side for cover.

The actual number of people entering the nightclub was the smallest, apart from Anton who was already inside, it was only Yang Yi, Brian, Paul, Mike McDonald who was in charge of the explosives, and Hank who was waiting to pick the locks.

As the panicking crowd almost finished running out, Yang Yi and his team each shouldered a bag and leaped from their vehicles, running toward the nightclub entrance.

Of course, Anton was waiting inside.

With a handgun in hand, Anton approached the nightclub’s entrance, and he finally encountered his first truly threatening opponent.

Two people, both armed with submachine guns, charged out from the staff passage. Anton’s first shot hit the person in the lead, but it wasn’t fatal, and the second person also opened fire while on the run as Anton shot.

Anton could only dodge while firing, so he failed to kill his opponent.

Anton quickly took cover behind a wall and then started to rapidly retreat along the wall’s edge.

Seeing a gun flash, Anton didn’t shoot, but then the area he was focusing on saw a gun suddenly thrust out and fire.

Extending the hand with the gun to shoot, then quickly moving out for a more accurate shot with both hands on the weapon, the enemy’s movements were unconventional but effective.

Anton shrunk back and hid behind the corner of the wall.

Rolling, jumping, or using any other kind of flashy action to dodge bullets was just deceiving oneself, no one except in movies would do that.

Finding good cover and hiding before the enemy could shoot at you was the correct approach.

The enemies weren’t particularly formidable, but they were above average. If Anton allowed two enemies with submachine guns to pin him down and let them advance to his position with mutual cover, his situation would become dangerous.

Don’t always think you can handle all enemies by yourself; it’s very risky. Anton could take the risk of being hit to forcefully take down the two enemies, but knowing reinforcements were on the way, why take the risk?

Anton hid behind the corner, and then, hearing the urgent gunfire and footsteps, suddenly darted out from behind the corner and fired three shots into the back of the enemies who were forced to turn around.

"Clear!"

Anton shouted, and then Paul was the first to charge in, followed by Brian and Yang Yi.

Paul extended three fingers and then suddenly clenched his fist. Anton looked puzzled and asked, "What does that mean?"

Paul muttered gloomily, "Found three armed people, all taken care of."

Anton shrugged and said, "I only saw two, I think there’s no one else."

Just then, Kate’s voice came loudly over the radio, "Enemies! A lot of enemies!"

Indeed, the main force of the Grey-cloaked People was outside the nightclub, not inside.

Brian threw the big bag he was carrying onto the ground, and then he shouted, "Hurry up and get to work, Holy Water and I will cover!"

McDonald strode to a wall behind the DJ’s booth, a spot he had previously scoped out.

He took out a can of white spray paint and shook it, then began to spray the wall with one dot after another, totaling twenty dots.

"Red-marked tubes, peel off the double-sided tape and stick them on! Make it quick."

After speaking, McDonald opened the big bag Brian had dropped, took out the tubes, peeled off the protective film on top, and stuck the tubes onto the wall.

Yang Yi and Anton also helped out, attaching plastic tubes to the wall, and in less than a minute, the wall was adorned with twenty white tubes.

"All set! Move back, find a safe place, the blast will be powerful."

Everyone quickly exited, with twenty bombs exploding at the same time, it was no joke.

McDonald held a red detonator, beckoned to Yang Yi; when Yang Yi came close, he grabbed Yang Yi’s hand and pressed it to his own ear, shouting, "Press hard!"

Yang Yi was too embarrassed to curse; he just hurriedly stuffed earplugs into his ears.

With the remote detonator in his right hand and his left hand covering his ear, McDonald yelled, "Detonate!"

With a loud boom, all the lights went out, and smoke and dust billowed out from the biggest space in the nightclub.

McDonald lowered his hand and said, "That was thrilling!"

Yang Yi threw a glow stick inside to supplement the micro-light night vision device; the effect was better, but the smoke was too thick to see anything inside with the night vision device.

Yang Yi stumbled quickly towards the blasted wall.

The metal jet had successfully made a hole in the wall but had not penetrated the entire wall, and the hole seemed quite small.

McDonald probed the hole made by the shaped charge with a stick and said, "Perfect! Next, you green, you blue, I red; make sure to put the corresponding colors into the holes I’ve assigned."

The holes created by the metal jet were also small, with a diameter of just about two centimeters, but the cement around the small holes had crumbled, so the three-centimeter tubes could be easily inserted.

Quickly putting the plastic tubes filled with Octogen into the holes, McDonald urged, "This time, stay back further."

The group ran out again, and McDonald took out two detonators, then shouted loudly, "Detonate!"

Eight explosive points detonated simultaneously, but there was only one explosion sound, and then McDonald pressed two buttons in quick succession, followed by two very shortly spaced blasts.

"Let’s check it out!"

McDonald, unable to contain his impatience, ran over; the choking dust made him cough continuously, but upon reaching the wall where the blasting had just been carried out, McDonald was shocked to say, "How come it didn’t fall?"
