Yang Yi could sense that everyone’s gaze upon him had changed.

The money still required some time to reach everyone’s hands, but this period wouldn’t be long, so it didn’t affect Yang Yi’s rising status in the eyes of Trident’s members.

After confirming the evening’s agenda, Yang Yi checked his watch and then said in a deep voice, "I need to rest for a bit, I am extremely tired right now. Everyone should take a break as well, get your weapons and gear in order, we might need to leave at any moment."

Yang Yi was already very exhausted. He didn’t plan to inform everyone about the cleaner organization just yet. Moreover, he urgently needed a good sleep, so certain matters could be discussed with Brian and Zhang Yong alone, but now was not the right time.

Raising his hand to greet everyone, Yang Yi left on his own.

He went back to his room for a good sleep, and then Yang Yi woke up promptly at five in the afternoon.

He had a meeting with Justin at seven, and before meeting Justin, Yang Yi had something to discuss with Brian.

"I have become a D-level client and C-level collaborator for the cleaner organization, while Organization of Water has become a D-level collaborator. Do you know what this means?"

Yang Yi got straight to the point, while Brian, after pondering for a moment, shook his head and said, "I don’t know, sit."

Brian immediately said, "Then the status of a client is more important than that of a collaborator."

Yang Yi let out a breath, then waved his hand and said, "Alright, we won’t talk about this now. Discussing this will take too long, and we will soon be heading out. We’ll talk about these issues later; now let me talk about something that’s more important for you."

Pausing a moment, Yang Yi spoke gravely, "I think, since we have become clients of the cleaners, we could commission them to find Kate’s whereabouts."

Brian’s face changed slightly, then he nodded and said, "Yes, but I want to remind you of something. You are a client to the cleaners, not us. It’s only you, not me, nor Organization of Water."

Yang Yi spread his hands and said, "That’s not the same thing."

Brian slowly shook his head and said, "It is different. An organization like the cleaners has no need to treat an entire organization as their client, they won’t handle it that way. So if you issue a commission to the cleaners, they might accept, but if I were to represent Organization of Water to issue a commission, the cleaners definitely would not accept it."

"Even if it is that way, I can still request the cleaners to help find Kate, don’t you think?"

After contemplating for a moment, Brian spoke in a low voice, "If the cleaners are willing, you don’t need to give me my five million US Dollars; you can pay it directly to the cleaners. But this is a difficult task, very difficult. I don’t think the cleaners will take it on. Besides, such a task would be very expensive for the cleaners to handle, very expensive indeed, so five million might not be enough. Finally, I doubt whether the cleaners have the capability."

Brian nodded, thought for a moment, then said in a low voice, "If the cleaners ask for too much, then forget it. I think for the matter of finding people, the Grey-cloaked People might be more skilled. Even the Cicero Family might be a better choice than the cleaners."

Brian definitely wouldn’t stand on ceremony with Yang Yi, and Brian’s points were valid.

Yang Yi stood up, then said in a deep voice, "I will talk to the cleaners about this when I see them. Besides, we can proceed with the Cicero Family at the same time. We’re going to see Justin in a bit, and after meeting him, I’ll bring this up. Originally we lacked money, but now we have it."

Brian smiled, then nodded at Yang Yi and said quietly, "Thank you."

The phone rang, and Yang Yi looked at the number, laughing, "It’s Justin’s call."

Answering the call, Yang Yi said with a smile, "Hello, buddy."

"Hey, buddy, I’ve found a restaurant. It’s not necessarily the best, and definitely not the most expensive, but I’ve set up the meeting for seven o’clock there. Plus, there’s another person who will be joining us for dinner."

"Got it, understood. Seven o’clock, where?"

Having noted down the location Justin mentioned, Yang Yi said to Brian, "We should head off; it’s a fair distance."

Yang Yi stepped out of the room, shouting, "Brother Yong, let’s go."

Zhang Yong came out from his room, calling out urgently, "Coming, coming."

The three of them took a car, and after boarding, Zhang Yong took the driver’s seat voluntarily, saying languidly, "You’re the boss, it wouldn’t do to have you drive and diminish your status in front of others. But couldn’t you have brought Rodriguez along? That guy’s perfect as a driver."

"Too many people would be inconvenient."

Zhang Yong still had a lazy demeanor as he said, "I understand taking Brian for backup, but why bring me along? What are you planning to make me do?"

"Scouting. Picking out individuals with combat ability who are suited to be mercenaries. Those approved by both of you will be kept."

Brian frowned and said, "Selecting people with combat ability? Shouldn’t we be picking some professional spies instead? That’s the kind of talent we desperately need right now, like specialized intelligence analysts."

Yang Yi sighed and said, "I would like that, but those are the talents Justin is targeting. We can’t compete with him, so we’ll see how it goes. The ones left over by Justin, I reckon they won’t be very impressive."

Brian exhaled and said quietly, "Justin is quite eager to build his own power, alright, we’ll just have to see how things go."

Zhang Yong said loudly, "I’ve seen lots of mercenaries from Ukraine, but I’ve never really dealt with Ukrainian spies. Brian, how are Ukrainian spies?"

After some thought, Brian said, "During the Soviet Union era, the KGB was really powerful, but now I don’t know. However, I suspect they’re not very impressive. If they were that good, Ukraine wouldn’t have become what it is now."
