Chapter 331: Water molecule squad, assemble!
The Qidian APP is holding an event where you can join a fan squad to earn a fan title and then share in the prize pool.
For fans of military fiction, unity and loyalty have become labels. I think the reason is simple; most readers of military novels are military enthusiasts, and such enthusiasts naturally understand the significance of unity, cooperation, and loyalty to an army.
Even if you are not a military enthusiast, as long as you read military novels, you would definitely grasp the importance of unity and cooperation.
Whether it’s a large army or a small team, as long as they can stand united to face any challenge, there is simply no reason for failure.
Military fiction is a niche category, and our fan base can’t compare with those of the super popular authors, but even though we are small, we’ve managed to create miracles time and again. We might be few, but we fight a beautiful fight. The reason is our unity.
I’m now earnestly requesting each one of you to take a moment from your busy lives to join the fan squad. I won’t demand contributions; just joining in is support for me, and I want to express my thanks.
Now that I’ve opened a single Chapter, let me also talk about the issue of updating. I owe the Alliance Hierarch 11 additional Chapters, and with the new year approaching, the pressure is really on to clear my debts before then.
In truth, 11 Chapters isn’t that many, and with a bit of effort, I could pay off that debt, but it’s not that I’m lazy; it’s just that I’m really willing but physically drained.
I won’t complain about the usual aches in my waist or neck, but my biggest problem is severe sleep issues. I go to bed at four or five in the morning and wake up at nine or ten, groggy all day long yet unable to sleep. I’ve been taking sleeping pills on and off for almost two months. At first, they worked, but now, taking one doesn’t seem to help, and I still can’t sleep. According to the doctor’s advice, I can’t take more either. It’s troublesome, truly very troublesome.
Poor sleep leads to lack of energy, so my writing has been in terrible shape lately. It takes two to three hours to write a single Chapter. So, unless my condition suddenly improves, the idea of adding more Chapters is quite difficult.
Now that I’ve finished my sleeping pills and the doctor won’t prescribe anymore, saying I can’t continue to take them, I’ve found that going to the gym isn’t helping either. I went for two days and lost interest. So, I’ve decided for the next few days, I’ll go hiking daily. If I tire myself out enough, maybe I’ll be able to sleep.
Well, the update schedule for the next few days might be affected, but just might be. I will still try to ensure that I’ve written the two Chapters for the next day each night.
Finally, I’m asking for your monthly votes. The more votes I get, the more additional Chapters I will add. Given my recent condition, I cannot promise how many more I’ll manage, but I’ll try my best. However, I assure you, there will be no compromise on quality—that you can trust.
I can’t do much about the falling rank in the military sales chart, but I do not want to be second in the military monthly ticket rank. Please, I count on you for that.
Thank you all for your support and love. I bow in gratitude.
Ru Shui Yi.
