Danny and his men were merely delivering the weapons; the Dark Night Knight wouldn’t be involved in the conflicts between the Organization of Water and the Destroyer, for in the underworld, credibility must be valued. Without credibility, although no one would enforce any justice, one essentially couldn’t keep operating in that world.

After handing over everything, Danny said seriously, "These weapons are from our inventory and haven’t raised any suspicion on the streets. If you use them, you are responsible for destroying them. If not, return them to me. Getting these things in London isn’t easy."

Yang Yi expressed his gratitude, "I understand, Captain."

Danny looked at Zhang Yong, nodded again, and said in a grave voice, "Let’s sit down for a good drink once this is over. For now, I won’t take up any more of your time. Good luck."

After hugging Yang Yi and Zhang Yong once more, Danny waved his hand, and then the four of them got into two cars and left, leaving Yang Yi and his group with two vehicles.

Once Danny and his men had left, Yang Yi turned to Brian and asked loudly, "How is it?"

Brian replied solemnly, "One AWM sniper rifle, one SCAR-H sniper variant, one SCAR-L standard assault rifle, two MP5 submachine guns, four Glock 17 pistols, one FNP-9 pistol, two Beretta M92 pistols, six RGO grenades, four M18 red smoke grenades, ten M7290 flashbangs. Ammunition for the guns is plentiful, plus there are four low-light night-vision devices, two thermal imagers—I don’t quite recognize the model—seven sets of wireless communication equipment, and two laser rangefinders."

Standing by, Xiao Ran commented, "The low-light night-vision devices are good, the thermal imagers are somewhat lacking but still quite decent. They’re all quality gear. The radio is very good; it’s the best you can buy. The Dark Night Knight’s equipment standards are high. I haven’t tested the guns yet, so I’m not too sure, but I’d like to use the SCAR-H rifle. I want to test if the scope needs adjusting."

Zhang Yong interjected suddenly, "This isn’t the United States; testing guns here isn’t easy. Rest assured though, the Dark Night Knight makes their living on the edge of a knife; they value their weapons no less than you do. Since the Captain has said that these weapons are fine, then there will definitely be no issues with them."

Xiao Ran shrugged, "Alright then, let’s not test them."

The weapons provided by Danny were of excellent quality without a doubt, and it was very possible there wouldn’t even be a fight in London, so all these weapons were just precautionary.

Yang Yi nodded and continued, "Now that we’ve got the weapons sorted, let’s go near the fancy restaurant and take care of the most important preparatory work. Schultz."

Schultz ran up to Yang Yi, then envyingly asked, "Can I have a gun? Can I?"

Yang Yi shook his head, "No, you won’t need it. Now tell me, how close do we need to be to the target?"

Schultz, looking disappointed, mumbled, "It doesn’t matter how close we are to the target, as long as we’re within the same signal tower’s coverage area. However, if we’re going to use the eavesdropping device you’re talking about, the closer, the better."

Yang Yi turned to Mike and said, "It’s your responsibility to lead the entire operation now. You take command."

Although Yang Yi also wanted to be able to stand on his own as soon as possible, he knew he still had much to learn. Experience had to be accumulated, knowledge had to be studied. As the leader of the Organization of Water, Yang Yi was still a bit too green. It would be foolish not to utilize a group of seasoned old hands available to him.

As the most experienced spy, direct action might not be Mike’s strong point, but commanding this straightforward operation was definitely within his qualifications. Therefore, it was only natural that Mike would be the overall commander of this operation.

Mike picked up a set of radios, looked at it, and then smilingly said, "This is a radio set for combat troops, reliable indeed, but not suitable for a spy – too big and too conspicuous. However, it’s fortunate that this isn’t purely a covert operation, so we’ll make do with it."

After speaking, Mike gestured with his hand and instructed, "Let’s put on the communication equipment now and test it."

Yang Yi took a walkie-talkie and clipped it to his waist, then inserted an earpiece into his ear. As he was just arranging the throat mic around his neck, Mike frowned and stated, "Sea God shouldn’t use this set of communication equipment; it’s too big."

Mike took out a small box from his pocket, opened it, and took out something the size of a soybean, saying, "Stick this in your ear, careful not to push it too deep, and then place this on your body."

The size of a soybean, the device was an earpiece, the other thing Mike held in his hand was a small square box resembling a business card holder, which was the signal reception and transmission device—relying solely on a soybean-sized earpiece wasn’t enough to transmit wireless signals very far.

After setting the frequency, Mike personally put the earpiece into Yang Yi’s ear, then immediately took a walkie-talkie and said in a deep voice, "Testing, testing."

The voice that sounded in Yang Yi’s ear canal was not loud but was exceptionally clear. Yang Yi nodded at Mike and said, "Very clear."

Mike shook his head and said, "Walk further and then talk."

Yang Yi took a dozen steps and whispered, "Testing."

Although Yang Yi’s voice was soft, it was heard very clearly by the others through their walkie-talkies. Mike nodded his head then, picking up his walkie-talkie, he said, "Test for all."

"Owl received, communications normal, over."

"Holy Water received, communications normal, over,"

In a low voice, Xiao Ran said, "Blade Queen received, normal, over."

Zhang Yong was startled, then he suddenly said, "What code name should I use?"

Curiously, Yang Yi said, "Aren’t you called Landmine? Or do you want to be called Earthworm?"

Zhang Yong shook his head and said, "No, I don’t want to use the nicknames I’ve used before, what now... Just pick a random one, call me God of Gamblers."

Yang Yi almost spat out a mouthful of blood, but Zhang Yong didn’t give him the chance to ridicule, immediately saying, "God of Gamblers received, over."

Schultz said excitedly, "Black Lightning received, uh, very clear, oh, over."

Mike looked at Schultz and said, "Are you sure you want to be called Black Lightning?"

Schultz was taken aback and said, "Can’t I?"

"You can, but you’re going to have a whole new identity, and I don’t recommend using your old online nickname, especially if you’re famous. Otherwise, you might have trouble later on."

After a moment of hesitation, Schultz nodded and said, "Then I won’t go by Black Lightning, call me... just Lightning. Black Lightning is my online name, and my real-life code name will be Lightning, okay?"

Mike nodded, then he looked at Yang Yi with an obvious dissatisfaction.

Yang Yi suddenly realized, and quickly said, "Sea God received, normal, over."

The responses to the communication test varied among the team members, but that was to be expected since they hadn’t been trained within a unified system. As long as the message was clear, that was what mattered.

Mike took a deep breath and said softly, "Communications normal, test complete, fellas, let’s move out."
