Chapter 284: Chapter 283 Black Lightning

Yang Yi hurriedly followed Brian and Paul. When Brian noticed Yang Yi keeping up, he just frowned, but instead of stopping Yang Yi, he whispered, "Make it quick, don’t slow us down."

They soon arrived underneath a window that was lit up. Brian looked up, assessed the situation, then signaled with his hand. Paul immediately crouched down and stretched out his hands. Brian took a few steps back, sprinted forward, stepped on Paul’s outstretched hands, and then leapt up, grabbing the lower edge of the second-floor window.

However, after grabbing the edge, Brian tried to push up with his arms to secure his feet on the windowsill, but his hands slipped, and he fell down.

He landed on the ground, but fortunately, Brian was agile enough with his hands to avoid a nasty fall.

Rubbing his hands, Brian looked up at the window with a look of astonishment and said, "Fuck... "

Paul wanted to laugh but dared not to. He whispered, "Let me go up."

Brian, extremely annoyed, said, "No! I’m fine, oh, fuck... "

Yang Yi was climbing up a drainpipe. He had been slower than Brian, but after Brian fell, Yang Yi was quicker. As Brian and Paul were discussing who should go up next, Yang Yi had already set a foot on the windowsill.

With a leap, Yang Yi grabbed the upper edge of the window with both hands and stepped onto the windowsill with both feet.

The room was lit and the curtains drawn. Yang Yi slowly pushed the window, then carefully slid the sash without making a noise. When the window was open enough for him to enter, he hoisted his body up with his arms and, using the momentum, swung himself through the window.

First his feet, then his entire body, Yang Yi jumped into the gap between the window and the curtains, then he immediately parted the curtains and rushed inside.

There was someone lying in bed reading a book. When he noticed someone suddenly entering, he started to shout in surprise, but Yang Yi rushed over in a few strides, covering the man’s mouth with his hand, and whispered, "Don’t make a sound! It’s better for both of us this way!"

Yang Yi didn’t want to use harsh language or tone to warn the person whose mouth he was covering, but after speaking, he suddenly realized he was in Germany, and he had spoken in English.

But the person whose mouth was covered by Yang Yi nodded his head in understanding. So, with a moment of surprise, Yang Yi whispered, "You can speak English, you understand me?"

The person slowly nodded his head again.

Yang Yi whispered, "I’m going to let go of my hand, but I warn you, don’t make a sound."

Yang Yi slowly removed his hand, then noticed that the person in pajamas lying on the bed was very young, very young indeed, looking only about fourteen or fifteen, no more than a child really.

Having jumped in too quickly to see clearly at first, now that he could see clearly, the situation became very awkward.

Just then, Brian finally jumped in from the window, and he immediately whispered in German, "Don’t make a sound."

After just one warning, Brian turned to Yang Yi with a look of displeasure and asked, "Did you take care of it?"

Paul also followed right in and, after surveying the situation, frowned and said, "Why is it a kid?"

The boy who had been sitting on the bed, initially panicked but now much less so, suddenly said, "I’m not a kid, I just look young."

His English had an accent and was not particularly standard, but communication was not a problem at all.

Brian took a deep breath and waved to Yang Yi, motioning for him to step aside. He then moved closer to the child on the bed, whispering, "Listen, kid, it’s good you can speak English because I haven’t spoken German for many years. Now, tell me, there’s a hacker in this house. Tell me who he is!"

Yang Yi made a gesture, whispering, "Be gentler."

Turning, Yang Yi said to the boy on the bed, "We mean no harm, uh, not the kind you’re thinking of. We won’t hurt anyone, we just want to find a hacker to help us out. Can you tell me..."

"I am the hacker, I am the person you’re looking for."

The boy on the bed became more animated, his eyes shining. He seemed even more afraid of being discovered than Yang Yi and the others, and he spoke in a particularly low voice.

"The hacker you’re looking for is me. Who are you guys? What do you want with me? You obviously need me to do something, right? No problem! Tell me what you want to do."

All three of them, Yang Yi included, were stunned, and after exchanging blank looks, Brian suddenly said, "You? Don’t joke, how old are you even? Listen..."

The seated kid was frantic, but his voice was still particularly soft, as he said anxiously, "I’m seventeen this year, I just look young, okay? And, I’ve been hacking into websites you know and don’t know since I was twelve, fuck! I’m not a kid! My name online is ’Black Lightning,’ and if you know that name, then you should know I am the one you’re looking for!"

Once again, all three were collectively dumbfounded.

After a moment, Brian said dubiously, "You’re seventeen? When I was seventeen, I was a lot bigger than you."

Brian stretched his hands to mimic a tall stature, and Black Lightning retorted angrily, "But when you were seventeen, you definitely weren’t as smart as me!"

Paul whispered, "Black Lightning? What kind of name is that, what kind of names are kids picking these days?"

Black Lightning said with pride, "Because I’m as fast as lightning, but no one can see me!"

Yang Yi sighed, whispering, "Hmm, Black Lightning, huh? Red Flash sends his regards."

The annoyance on Black Lightning’s face vanished instantly, his eyes lit up again, and then he said in a low voice, "Red Flash? Has he really sent someone to rescue me? That’s great! That’s so brotherly! I’ll go with you, let’s hurry and leave now, can we go now?"

The three were yet again collectively petrified, as the reality seemed quite different from what they had expected.

"Wait, what do you mean by rescue you?"

Yang Yi was the first to snap back to reality, now truly confused, because things were apparently not quite as Robert had said.

The teenager held up three fingers, saying excitedly, "Black Lightning, Red Flash, White Roar, the tri-colored combo, the Tri-Color Brotherhood, an invincible existence in the world of hackers, don’t you know?"

Yang Yi shook his head, and Black Lightning said with disdain, "Too ignorant."

Flustered by this, Brian was at a loss for words, while Paul said in a low voice, "White Roar? What kind of lousy name is that? Don’t young people know how to pick nicknames anymore?"

Black Lightning said urgently, "Fine, never mind what you want to do, finding me definitely means you want me as your hacker, right? I’ll help you, now let’s get going quick!"

Yang Yi exhaled and then reached out his hand, saying, "Wait, tell us what your situation is now, what do you mean by rescue you?"

Brian whispered, "That’s right, we’re here to rescue you, now come with us."
