Chapter 1108: Chapter 1113 Between Jokes

Exposing oneself to lure out the enemy, but not actually getting killed conveniently by them, means using oneself as bait truly requires skill.

Yang Yi and Anton were walking on the road.

"Why me? Do you have any idea how dangerous this is?"

"Dude, if not you, then Kate?"

Anton shrugged helplessly, "Even an idiot knows you’re the bait."

Yang Yi smiled, "Even if they know, do you think Nicholas can resist? Since he must kill me, of course he has to try, so even if he knows it’s a trap, he still has to take the bait."

Anton sighed, stopping in his tracks, then whispered, "It gets dangerous from here on, this is the address the janitor gave us, right?"

"Yes, but I’m not sure if Nicholas is here."

"Doesn’t matter if he’s here or not, let’s do it."

"We just rush in like this? Kill on sight? That’s not good."

"What’s not good about it? At this point, are you afraid of making too much noise?"

"I’m not afraid of the noise, I’m afraid because Nicholas’s men are armed to the teeth, just the two of us rushing in? And kill on sight? More like getting killed on sight."

Anton shrugged, "You don’t know Black Devil’s strength and habits. So what if there are many of them, will you foolishly rush forward? Go in quickly, come out quickly; doesn’t matter how many we take down, if the chance is gone, we leave."

Yang Yi took a deep breath, "Sure to be chased once spotted, and once they’re on our tail, it’ll be hard to shake them off."

Anton, visibly annoyed, said, "This is your plan, now you’re scared?"

"Not scared, just feeling really helpless, obviously a suicide mission, yet I have to do it myself, this doesn’t feel like something a leader should do."

Anton laughed, "Being a leader means you have to be prepared for such things, if only any of us could be the target instead of you, you wouldn’t have to show yourself, but you are the target."

Yang Yi had a pistol in his waistband and another in hand, chatting with Anton as they walked until they reached the area where Nicholas’s men were gathered.

"Do you think we’ll find Nicholas?"

"Hard to say, probably not, I don’t think he’s likely to be here."

"Whether he’s here or not, let’s go."

Yang Yi sighed and Anton, removing the cloth around his rifle, said, "Why do you insist on using a pistol?"

During the conversation, Anton pulled the rifle bolt.

Yang Yi rubbed the Glock 17’s sights against his head, "Scalp itches, why must I use a pistol? Because I’m not good with rifles yet."

"I’ll take the lead, you follow."

"No, no, no, let me lead, if I miss, you cover me."

Anton laughed, "Looks like I’ll be busy tonight, to be honest, I’m not really confident in your shooting skills."

"Just you wait and see!"

Yang Yi confidently said, "This the place?"

"Yes, this is the spot."

"Why isn’t there anyone on watch?"

"Because they don’t need it, who would guess we’d strike back."

"Exactly, let’s go."

Yang Yi raised his gun, holding it with both hands as he moved forward, with Anton right behind him, rifle raised, on his right side.

There was a row of cars at the entrance, seven in total, giving a rough idea of how many people were inside.

Yang Yi thought he’d have to pick the lock or break through the iron gate, but found to his surprise that it wasn’t locked.

Gently pushing open the iron gate, Yang Yi entered with his gun raised, then just after passing through a short corridor, he saw a South American-faced man staring blankly at him, and Yang Yi fired without hesitation.

Another shot rang out.

Two more shots followed rapidly.

Anton couldn’t stand it anymore; he fired a bullet that killed the South American man sprinting away from behind.

The person suddenly encountered was shot in the back of the head, blowing off the entire top of his skull.

Yang Yi whispered, "This was an accident..."

"No, this was not an accident."

"This is indeed an accident!"

"It’s absolutely not an accident!"

"But damn, this is a real accident!"

"Haha, this isn’t an accident. I knew it would happen this way. No distance, enemy standing still, he’s wearing tactical gear but no gun, how could you miss under these conditions? Was it four shots?"

Yang Yi had nothing to say, not because he didn’t want to but because he couldn’t — the enemy wasn’t deaf and finally rushed over.

Yang Yi suddenly opened fire; he fired four consecutive shots.

Pop, pop, pop, pop.

Four shots and three people fell to the ground, his shooting skills were extremely remarkable.

"What did I say? Fuck!"

Yang Yi fired another shot, but after swearing out loud, Anton fired two short bursts and killed two more enemies.

"Let’s go."

"Let me shoot a few more!"

Although he said he wanted to shoot a few more, Yang Yi obediently turned around and left.

Anton fired several more shots, pressing the enemies trying to chase them back into the building, then he followed Yang Yi and backed out through the steel door.

Yang Yi and Anton retreated down the same path they had come from, gun in hand, while Yang Yi said gravely, "You saw just now, I shot three people dead with four rounds, how about that skill?"

The enemies chased outside, Yang Yi and Anton didn’t shoot, but after a gunshot, the pursuing enemies fell at the door.

The shot was fired by Xiao Ran.

"Please explain what just happened. You had two more shots, but you didn’t hit the target. If it weren’t for me, you would be dead."

"If you weren’t here, I would have hit him."

"No, you would have definitely died, I didn’t give him a chance to shoot, but you did."

"I understand, I’m saying if you weren’t there, I wouldn’t have missed, understand? It’s a matter of mindset. Because you were there, I was relaxed, and that’s why I missed the enemy."

"No no no, the more relaxed you are, the easier it is to hit, that’s common knowledge."

"But common knowledge doesn’t apply to me, I am someone who defies common sense, that’s how amazing I am."

Yang Yi seemed a bit arrogant, to the extent that even the enemies couldn’t stand it. Numerous enemies emerged from several exits simultaneously, but the continuous gunfire dropped each one that appeared to the ground.

Anton glanced at Yang Yi and said, "Shameless, being this shameless can get yourself killed. If you have to kill enemies with a gun, you better not rely on such inconsistent shooting, honestly, I’m really worried for you."

Yang Yi nonchalantly replied, "No, if it’s really dangerous, I won’t miss. The more dangerous, the better I perform, so you don’t have to worry about me. If you don’t believe me, just watch."

"Alright, let’s bet. I kill one for you, you give me one US Dollar, how about that?"

"Are you insulting me?"

"Did you just realize that?"

"Alright, one US Dollar each, it’s settled then."
