Yang Yi had to wait until noon the next day before the first person to report found him.

There was a knock on the door, Bonnie went to open it, and after the door opened, a middle-aged man in his fifties, wearing a bowler hat and carrying a suitcase slightly bowed and took off his hat, politely saying, "Hello, I am E, I’m looking for Mr. Yang."

Bonnie stepped aside, and then the middle-aged man entered the room and immediately said to Yang Yi, "Hello, Mr. Yang."

Yang Yi did not stand up. He just waved his hand and said, "Sorry, I can’t move well, so I won’t stand up. Are you the team leader?"

"I’m not, I am E. A is the team leader, and he has not yet arrived. Except for A and B, the others have already been deployed into positions."

Yang Yi shook his head and said, "No, that won’t work, I need your protection to be covert, understand? It should appear as if there’s no one protecting me. Only then will it lure Cupid into action, and your task is to take him down immediately after he makes a move."

E frowned and said, "That’s difficult."

"It’s okay, just do your best, and try not to let anyone know you exist."

"But that’s very risky for your safety."

"It’s okay, I trust your capabilities."

E frowned and pondered for a while, then he nodded, packed up his suitcase again, and said, "As you say, then, I’ll take my leave."
