Though it seemed highly unlikely, Yang Yi still promptly took out his phone and dialed Annastasia.

"Hi."

"Hey, um... is the Queen around?"

"Of course, she’s here, right next to me. Are you looking for her?"

"Has she been there all the time?"

"Certainly, she has always been here. Is there something you need?"

Yang Yi whispered, "Uh, no, nothing at all. I just wanted to ask if she’s alright. Um, that’s all."

After hanging up the phone, Yang Yi said nothing, Kate said nothing, and Bonnie clearly had no idea what Yang Yi’s call was about.

Only Yang Yi and Kate understood that, although it was improbable, the possibility that Xiao Ran could have run back and taken a shot at him was real. Therefore, Yang Yi made the call to check if Xiao Ran was still in Italy.

Yang Yi pondered for a moment, then asked, "If someone is following us, not just one person but a group of professional stalkers, would you be able to tell them apart from ordinary people?"

Bonnie said gravely, "I should be able to, unless the stalkers are all top-notch experts. But we all know that top-notch experts would never team up, because experts are a rare commodity wherever you go."

In any industry, experts are inevitably scarce, especially in the field of surveillance. To stay undetected by an equally proficient adversary is incredibly difficult.

Yang Yi’s reason for heading to a luxury store was not to flaunt his wealth. Showing off in front of Kate and Bonnie would be pointless. The main reason is that areas concentrated with luxury stores are inevitably bustling commercial districts, and in busy commercial areas, there are many people, which would provide a good environment for the stalkers.

Inside luxury stores, on the other hand, it’s certain that there won’t be many people – sometimes there might not even be anyone at all.

Lots of people outside is convenient for stalkers, few people inside the store minimizes contact with others, thus ensuring greater safety.

As for turning back and returning, it was out of the question for Yang Yi.

When buying luxury goods in Paris, the Champs-Elysées is undoubtedly the first choice.

Driving all the way to the Champs-Elysées, they randomly entered one of the top luxury stores. Yang Yi sat in his wheelchair, watching as Kate and Bonnie picked out the clothes they liked.

Yang Yi was left to the side, while Kate and Bonnie discussed every piece of clothing they were interested in as if they were sisters for years, debating whether it was suitable for each other.

Bonnie’s figure was undeniably impeccable. Since she could disguise herself as a model, she certainly had the assets. Not to mention her height of 180 cm, she would also put on a pair of high heels, turning heads everywhere she went as the center of attention.

Kate was also gorgeous but compared to Bonnie, she fell a little short. However, the aura she carried was something Bonnie couldn’t match, or perhaps, it was something Bonnie simply hadn’t revealed.

Kate went to try on some clothes, but Bonnie didn’t wait outside the fitting room; instead, she came straight over to Yang Yi, leaned down with a smile, and whispered to him: "Notice anything?"

"Nothing, kiss me."

Bonnie pecked Yang Yi on the face, then giggled and went back to wait outside Kate’s fitting room.

The sales associates were all well-trained. Under normal circumstances, no matter how outrageous things they witnessed, they would not show much surprise.

Kate came out in a dress, turned to Bonnie and asked, "Does it look good?"

"Very pretty, very suitable for you."

Here they go again, acting out their ’plastic sisterhood’. Yang Yi, utterly bored, looked elsewhere, showing his disinterest.

There were many fitting rooms, and this time Kate and Bonnie were trying on clothes together. During this time, Yang Yi scanned his surroundings, then his gaze settled on a sales associate.

The shop assistant smiled and said, "Your girlfriend is very lucky."

The shop assistant sighed softly and said, "Maybe I’m not as good as you think. My boyfriend broke up with me, so I’m single now, and have been for quite some time."

Yang Yi didn’t beat around the bush and said with a serious face, "Sorry, could you give me a pen?"
