Chapter 88: Chapter 88: A Dense Shower of Kisses Fell

Although Flat Peak Mountain was not very high, it was known for its beautiful scenery and had been rated a 5A tourist spot in Jiangcheng.

An Yan drifted her car into a parking spot at the foot of the mountain, got out, and started walking up the mountain with her backpack on.

Half an hour later, she reached the peak, only to discover that a filming crew was there.

A staff member ran over, speaking rudely, "Hey, where did you come from? Move along, move along, we’ve booked the whole mountain."

An Yan furrowed her brow, "I remember this mountain is a public resource."

Just when the staff member was about to say something, a gentle voice rang out.

"An Yan? What brings you here?"

An Yan looked towards the voice and saw, under the dim yellow lights, a tall and handsome figure approaching.

"Movie King Mu."

Mu Qianfan smiled, "Calling me Movie King Mu sounds a bit too formal, call me Brother Mu."

An Yan felt a bit awkward, given she wasn’t very familiar with him.

Assistant Xu Shuo came over, "We usually call him that too, Brother Mu is very kind and friendly."

An Yan nodded, "Brother Mu."

Mu Qianfan asked, "What brings you here so late?"

"I wanted to watch the sunrise, I heard that the sunrise on Flat Peak Mountain is especially beautiful."

Mu Qianfan hummed lightly, "It is quite beautiful, I saw it myself this morning. Did you bring a tent?"

"I did. I was planning to stay overnight here. It seems you folks aren’t allowing outsiders though."

Mu Qianfan took her backpack and led her forward, "Follow me, and no one will stop you."

An Yan stepped forward and followed him.

Suddenly a cold male voice came from behind.

"An Yan."

An Yan’s steps faltered, and she turned to see Fu Shiyan’s tall figure.

There was a flame of anger, confusion, and disappointment in his dark eyes, which cooled into a simple, indifferent statement, "I’ll take you home."

An Yan could clearly see that Fu Shiyan was angry, but she had her own temper, and right now she didn’t want to see him or deal with his authoritarian behavior.

"Younger Uncle, thank you, but I want to stay here tonight."

The term ’Younger Uncle’, at that moment, sounded particularly harsh, as though eager to delineate their roles.

Fu Shiyan clenched his teeth, his jaw muscles bulging from the strain, he licked his back teeth and scoffed, "So you had made an appointment with him before this?"

An Yan frowned, not immediately understanding his implication.

To Fu Shiyan, her silence was an admission, and he chuckled lowly, "It seems I’ve interrupted something between you two," then turned and walked down the mountain.

Mu Qianfan clicked his tongue, "An accidental meeting turned into something indecent, has he been provoked in some way?" He looked meaningfully at An Yan, "You and him?"

An Yan pressed her lips together and spoke softly, "I am just his niece’s martial arts instructor, nothing more."

Mu Qianfan said no more, merely curving his lips slightly.

An Yan, worried about any rumors involving her and Mu Qianfan, set up her tent thirty meters away from his.

Mu Qianfan brought over two small stools and four cans of beer, inviting An Yan to have a drink.

The two of them sat down, looking off into the distance.

Mu Qianfan pointed towards the distant lights, "Flat Peak Mountain is one of the most beautiful sceneries in Jiangcheng, a place to appreciate the quiet beauty far from the madding crowd."

An Yan was quite tired today, but now, feeling the cool night breeze, her mood was somewhat more relaxed.

"It is very beautiful."

"I thought I wouldn’t see you until next weekend, but here we are after just sending a text tonight."

An Yan nodded, "It is quite a coincidence."

Mu Qianfan took a sip of beer, "I’ve heard about your experiences, you were previously in Xiangcheng?"

An Yan lightly hummed, "I guess I grew up in Xiangcheng. I was adopted by my grandparents, who treated me as if I were their own granddaughter."

"Then you’re quite fortunate."

"Yes, the affection my grandparents gave me replaced the parental love I lost."

Mu Qianfan looked at her, "Your eyes greatly resemble my mother’s eyes, but they are even clearer."

"I’m honored." An Yan said with a smile.

"Her eyes were very clear before, like a spring of clear water."

An Yan caught the sensitive word, before.

She asked, "What happened?"

Mu Qianfan sighed lightly from his nose, "Two years ago, she fell overboard from the deck and hit her head, after she was rescued, we discovered there was a blood clot in her brain that still persists, leaving her in a coma. We’ve hired many renowned doctors, but the clot’s location makes surgery impossible. We’ve been searching all over the world for Divine Doctor Y, but can’t find her anywhere."

An Yan pondered for a moment, "My friend Fang Zhou, he’s very familiar with Y. I can help, send me your aunt’s films and medical records when you have time."

Mu Qianfan’s brown pupils flickered, "Then I really must thank you."

"You’re welcome."

"If you ever need my help in the future, I’ll do my utmost."

An Yan looked at the man’s warm smile, feeling especially close.

After drinking, An Yan stretched, "I’m a bit tired today, I’m going to rest."

"Alright, get some sleep early, I’ll ask my second brother for my mother’s medical records and will send them to you tomorrow."

Second brother?

An Yan knew that Mu Family’s second son was the medical tycoon Mu Boyan, a giant in the field of organology, and they had even collaborated on a surgery two and a half years ago.

She nodded, was just about to stoop to clean up the trash, but Mu Qianfan stopped her.

"Leave these kinds of tasks to me. Goodnight."

"Goodnight." An Yan didn’t insist further and turned into the tent.

She changed into comfortable pajamas and lay down.

Since the top of the tent was mesh, she could see the night sky while lying down.

With no city lights to interfere, the stars here were numerous and bright.

Perhaps it was because she loved her bed, but at this moment, she couldn’t feel sleepy.

She picked up her cellphone and flipped through it; Fu Shiyan hadn’t sent another message or made another call.

An Yan put her hand over her eyes, maybe she and he had reached their ends, but she didn’t regret her moth-to-the-flame behavior.

Gradually, the noise outside the tent quieted down, leaving only the sounds of summer cicadas and the wind.

Half dozing, An Yan suddenly heard the sound of the tent zipper being pulled open.

She instantly opened her eyes, quickly getting up.

A tall figure pressed down on her aggressively, the man pinned her hands above her head and spread her legs with his knees as kisses rained down densely.

A familiar scent enveloped her, and An Yan knew who he was the moment he pounced.

At first, she struggled, then she stopped resisting.

The man’s kisses changed from fierce to gentle, stopping when he heard the girl cry.

An Yan turned her head, tears of grievance falling, "Fu Shiyan, you’ve gone too far!"

Fu Shiyan sat up beside her, scooped her up onto his lap, "Stop crying, Yanyan, I was wrong, alright?"

The tears on the girl’s face burned his fingertips, Fu Shiyan greatly regretted being so rough with her.

An Yan cried even harder, though the sound was soft, the degree of her distress was intense.

"Yanyan, tell me, what exactly did I do wrong to make you so angry?"

An Yan sniffed, looking at the man’s puzzled eyes, "Why did you have to kiss her?"
