Spoiled By My Ex-Fiance's Uncle
Chapter 67 I Like Ayan the Most

Chapter 67: Chapter 67 I Like Ayan the Most

An Yan woke up at five in the afternoon.

She yawned, sitting up and rubbing her temples. She seemed to have answered a phone call and had vaguely agreed to something.

She picked up the phone beside her pillow to check; it was from Fu Jinqiao.

She called back, and the other end was bustling with excitement, "Tomorrow morning you don’t need to bring anything, I’ve got the food covered..."

"What’s going on? What are we doing tomorrow morning?"

Jinqiao looked at her newly-done, sparkling nails, blinking, "Did you blackout from drinking?"

An Yan wanted to say that she was so tired she might as well have blacked out?

"Why is your voice hoarse? Do you have a cold? Should I come and see you?"

An Yan bit her lip; it was all that uncontrollable old man’s fault!

She cleared her throat, still a bit hoarse, "No, it’s just laryngitis flaring up. What are we doing tomorrow?"

"Amusement park! We’ll have a picnic there at lunch, and I’ll pick you up at eight tomorrow morning."

Without thinking much, An Yan just responded with an "Oh."

After the other party hung up, she fidgeted for a while.

She noticed a brand new dress identical to the one on the floor placed at the foot of the bed.

After changing, she walked out of the rest room and saw the man, sitting at his desk reviewing documents.

Hearing footsteps, Fu Shiyan glanced over, his thin lips curving into a tender smile, "Awake?"

An Yan hummed softly, her mood slightly petulant as she headed towards the opposite couch.

The man stood up and walked over to block her path, wrapping his long arms around her slender frame, "Are you mad, hmm?"

"My throat’s all hoarse!"

"My fault, next time you say stop, I’ll stop, okay?"

"Men’s words, deceiving ghosts, I don’t believe it."

"What do you want for dinner? I’ll make it for you."

"Curry rice?"

Fu Shiyan leaned forward and kissed her lips, "Okay, Yanyan decides."

Seeing her dazed cute expression, Shiyan chuckled, "Don’t like me calling you that?"

An Yan smiled and pursed her lips, "It’s okay, I guess."

Fu Shiyan gazed at her slightly haughty yet shy demeanor, unable to resist pinching her cheek.

"Wait for me a moment." He took his jacket off the coat rack and put it on, taking her hand, "Let’s go,"

An Yan quickly broke free, "There are too many people outside."

"What do you think they would think after you’ve stayed here all afternoon?"

"Guessing and seeing are not the same." An Yan walked out the door first, followed by Shiyan shaking his head with a laugh.

Fu Shiyan took a day off for Han Yang, driving An Yan himself to the supermarket.

Before getting out of the car, An Yan took two masks out of her bag, "Quick, cover up your handsome face, or tonight you’re definitely going to get lectured back at the old house."

"Am I afraid of that?"

"Not afraid, not afraid, consider it me begging you. We’re having a sweet time, don’t want anything unpleasant to ruin it."

Fu Shiyan frowned, "This is a cartoon one, I’m not wearing it."

"Please, just wear it, I’m begging you."

Making the tall and handsome Fu Shiyan wear a cute cartoon-patterned mask was almost harder than killing him.

He firmly refused, "Not wearing it!"

An Yan’s eyes curved as she planted a gentle kiss on the man’s cheek.

"Bribing me won’t work either."

An Yan leaned in and kissed the other cheek of the man, "I love Ayan the most."

Fu Shiyan clicked his tongue, "You should have the right attitude when asking for a favor."

Eventually, An Yan agreed to some things she usually wouldn’t, and in the end, Fu Shiyan compromised.

The two of them wore masks as they got out of the car. Despite covering their faces, many people were still attracted to their striking appearance.

Fu Shiyan pushed the shopping cart forward as they headed to the meat section, picking out a couple of chicken legs and some pork, beef, and lamb for later. Then they moved on to the fresh produce section for vegetables and fruits.

Turning to the chilled goods section, Fu Shiyan watched as An Yan filled the cart with various flavors of ice cream, furrowing his eyebrows, "Isn’t that a bit too much ice cream? I heard that it can cause stomach aches if girls eat too much cold stuff."

An Yan held up three fingers, "I swear, it absolutely won’t cause me a stomach ache."

Fu Shiyan pressed her fingers down, "Don’t these three fingers look like incense sticks for the dead? Specifically to fool the dead?"

An Yan’s mouth twitched slightly, and she coughed lightly, "Nonsense, I definitely won’t have a stomach ache."

Fu Shiyan hummed and ignored her, putting back five boxes of ice cream.

An Yan twitched the corners of her mouth, reluctantly glanced at the freezer, her shoulders sank, and the man enveloped her whole body, leading her away.

"How about some chips? We can eat them while watching a movie," Fu Shiyan coaxed her, "how does that sound?"

An Yan knew he was concerned about her getting a stomachache and meant well, so she didn’t act coy.

The pair went to the snack aisle and started filling the cart with various flavors of chips.

At that moment, An Yan grabbed Fu Shiyan’s arm and ran toward another shelf.

Fu Shiyan frowned, "What’s up?"

An Yan peeked out like a thief, swiftly turning her eyes and pushing the face Fu Shiyan leaned in with to one side.

Turning her head, she saw that Fu Shiyan’s mask was almost pulled off by her, and she hurriedly fixed it for him.

"It’s Jinqiao!" An Yan hushed, "Hide well."

Fu Shiyan pressed his brow bone. He was of a considerable age, and it was not easy to be in a relationship, yet he had to keep hiding.

An Yan hurried around the corner and saw Fu Jinqiao excitedly jogging over with a shopping cart.

"An Yan, you’re here to buy groceries, huh!"

"Yeah, aren’t we going on a picnic tomorrow?"

Fu Jinqiao clicked her tongue, "I said I’d take care of it."

An Yan smiled, "It’s okay."

"Wow, you even bought vegetables and meat, what are you planning to cook tonight?"

"Curry rice."

Fu Jinqiao, with a look of admiration, "An Yan, your cooking must be really good, can I come over to eat?"

Seeing the girl’s eager face, An Yan really couldn’t refuse, she gritted her teeth, "Alright."

Behind the shelves, Fu Shiyan, although wearing a mask, had eyes as somber as indelible dense ink.

The two girls passed by and timidly asked, "Can we add you on WeChat?"

Fu Shiyan didn’t even glance at them, "No."

The girls pouted and left reluctantly.

A message notification sounded, and Fu Shiyan looked down.

"You go back first, pack your things into the suitcase, and put it in the cloakroom. You can pretend to bump into us or whatever, then I’ll invite you upstairs for dinner."

Fu Shiyan was amused with irritation; not only did he have to sneak around in his relationship, but he also had to be ready to pack up and leave on a whim.

He took a deep breath and left.

Meanwhile, An Yan hadn’t received a reply from Fu Shiyan and wasn’t sure if he would do as she said. She felt anxious as she and Fu Jinqiao walked past the shelves, and upon not seeing Fu Shiyan there, she finally breathed a sigh of relief.

After paying, they drove back to Bishui Bay.

An Yan entered the password, walked inside, and noticed the man’s slippers were gone, suggesting Fu Shiyan must have already packed up all his belongings.

Fu Jinqiao followed inside, "I didn’t expect the owner to have changed to you. My younger uncle has countless properties, but he stays here the most."

She sniffed, "Am I losing it, or does it smell like my younger uncle here?"

An Yan chuckled inwardly, your nose is as good as a police dog’s.

An Yan interrupted her suspicions, "Go watch a movie; the curry rice will be ready in a bit."

Fu Jinqiao, whose hands never touched spring water, naturally was thrilled and settled into the sofa to watch a movie.

At that moment, Fu Jinqiao’s phone rang.

She answered, "Younger uncle, guess where I am? Haha, I’m at Bishui Bay. Have you eaten yet? Come over too!"

After hanging up, Fu Jinqiao ran to the kitchen door, "An Yan, my younger uncle hasn’t eaten either, can you make some extra rice? I invited him over."

"Sure," An Yan replied with a smile and closed the rice cooker, there was more than enough for three.

Soon, Fu Jinqiao ushered Fu Shiyan in, poking her head into the kitchen, "My younger uncle is here."

An Yan turned off the gas, stepped out, and smiled at Fu Shiyan, "Hello, Younger Uncle."

Fu Shiyan politely said, "Sorry for the disturbance."

"No worries, go wash your hands, the curry rice is ready," An Yan said with a grin.

Fu Shiyan looked at Fu Jinqiao, "You just eat?"

Fu Jinqiao stuck out her tongue, "Then I’ll go serve the rice and set the plates."

Watching her enter the kitchen, Fu Shiyan scooped An Yan into his arms and bit her ear, "Letting me pack up and leave?"

An Yan felt uneasy as the kitchen was separated by glass, and anyone turning their head inside could see the couple embracing outside.

An Yan pushed him away, whispering, "Go wash your hands."

Fu Shiyan, holding her waist, went into the bathroom and pushed her against the vanity, "Let me think, how should I punish you?"
