Mo Chou was sleeping rather peacefully. She did not have any idea how chaotic it was online due to things happening one after another.

Even if she did know, Mo Chou wouldn’t really care about such things. She felt that since she had no enmity with Liu Dai and hadn’t really offended anyone, she should be out of the danger zone now right?

As for ’An Daiyu’, Mo Chou wouldn’t even need to extend any efforts to deal with her as she was not the ’blessed female lead’.

Since the plot had already changed drastically, Mo Chou decided to just enjoy life. She even had her big brother with her now.

To be honest Mo Chou was very happy with this new life. She could ’work’ without being controlled by any organisation and she had family and friends who cared about her which was more than she ever wished for.

As for the annoying people who kept picking fights with her, she would just consider them clowns and free entertainment as she quite loved ’face slapping’ after all.

Now all she had to do was keep earning more money. She wanted to live a leisurely life and spoil her family and friends after all.

Huo Jichen and Huo Zhai were about to be frozen due to the frosty aura that Lu Jinhai was emitting.

Lu Jichen had been fine before. Although he was extra strict regarding work as he wanted to get work done in order to free up time to accompany Mo Chou, it was nothing new for the employees.

It was after Huo Jichen informed Lu Jinhai about a post which had blown up online regarding Mo Chou. After that, Lu Jinhai looked as if he was planning murder. Others might think that Lu Jinhai’s blank expressionless face was normal, but Huo Jichen and Huo Zhai had been with him for a long time and knew that someone or something had gotten on Lu Jinhai’s nerves.

Huo Jichen always kept tabs on anything regarding Mo Chou online but he only got to know about the new scandal after Mo Chou had already dealt with it.

Although it hadn’t affected Mo Chou much, Huo Jichen still reported about it to Lu Jinhai.

Lu Jinhai was a little frustrated. Trouble seemed to love clinging onto Mo Chou no matter what.

"Deal with it. Find out the people behind the whole matter and deal with everyone. Make sure to ’deal’ with them properly".

After instructing them, he seemed to remember something, "Oh, and don’t stop updating me regarding the activities of that girl, Liu Dai’s ex fiance. If she tries anything funny again..." Lu Jinhai didn’t need to finish the sentence as the Huo brothers knew him too well.

They would only feel sorry for those who dared to anger him whether knowingly or unknowingly.

When Mo Chou woke up in the morning, she was greeted by Mo Li who was trying to act normal but Mo Chou could see the concern in her eyes. It was probably due to the matters online.

Mo Chou gave her a sweet smile and immediately took her arms. Acting spoiled, she said, "Mommy dear, can I please skip classes today? I wanna go play with big brother".

Mo Li was relieved to see that Mo Chou seemed cheerful, she thought that perhaps Mo Chou had not seen anything as the post had already been removed now.

"Of course, but you should ask big brother if he is okay with you tagging along. He said that he has work today that he can’t delay" Mo Li replied. Her tone was a little sulky.

Mo Chou smiled. "Don’t worry mom, I’ll convince big brother to stay here for the weekend" she said mischievously with a wink.

Mo Li looked appeased. "Let’s go have breakfast now. I already called everyone before coming to get you".

Mo Chou and Mo Li walked to the dining room hand in hand.

After breakfast Liu Dai and Liu Qiang headed to the office. Mo Li had plans with some of her friends so she went out after breakfast as well.

It was only Reaper and Mo Chou left in the dining room now.

"Big brother, What’s up with the black serpent gang? Aren’t you 001?" Mo Chou asked casually.

Reaper wasn’t surprised with her questions as he already knew about her top notch hacking skills.

"I guess it can be said that I’m undercover, but not really. I accidentally happened to save the previous gang leader. I had no intention of taking over the gang but the old man insisted after I started working with him. The higher ups at the Assassin organisation wanted me to supply weapons to the organisation through him. I guess he became fond of me. I took over the gang after his death because it was his last wish. I mean it’s not a big deal. Assassin Organization is helping me manage the gang and all".

"Ohh, got it"

Mo Chou wasn’t really asking for the full details but it was still nice to hear him talk so much.

"Oh and mom said that you have to go to work today? Where exactly are you going?" asked Mo Chou.

"You know about the traitor that I killed right?"

Mo Chou nodded. She had not earned any money from that mission because he had killed her target after all.

"Well, the rival gang whom he was working with is getting out of line nowadays. You said you saw me kill the traitor. Well the one of the people who were in the room with me that day is the leader of a mysterious gang that we had been supplying weapons to recently, the masked one".

Mo Chou listened intently as she was quite curious about the masked man after all.

"Due to that traitor the weapons we were supposed to supply to them were delayed. That’s why I killed the traitor in the meeting. It’s profitable doing business with them and they are powerful, so I have another meeting with them today regarding damage control and all ’’ Reaper explained patiently.

"Can I tag along?" Mo Chou asked excitedly. It had been a long time since she had done something fun and all.

Reaper thought for a moment and agreed. He really couldn’t say no to her at all and he knew that she was capable of protecting herself. It wouldn’t really be dangerous as it was a business meeting after all.

"Sure but put on a good disguise".

Mo Chou immediately jumped up and started bouncing to her room. "I doubt that even you will be able to recognize me once I’m done" she shouted back at him.

Reaper shook his head with a smile. He was already dressed for the meeting so all he had to do was inform the business partner that he was bringing a ’bodyguard’ with him.

He quickly got a reply back saying that it was fine. The masked man was also bringing his bodyguard with him after all.

Huo Zhai informed Lu Jinhai that their business partner was going to bring a bodyguard along this time.

Lu Jinhai just nodded as he didn’t really care.

He had no idea that the ’bodyguard’ was going to give him a surprise.
