Reaper hurriedly got out of his chair. He hovered over Mo Chou but didn’t have any idea on what to do in this situation.

Mo Chou hadn’t ever cried in front of him, let alone full on loud sobbing like this. No matter how she was wronged or how hurt she was, she would stubbornly hold back her tears.

Reaper patted Mo Chou’s head and asked her why she was crying.

"Hey, it’s ok. It’s alright little one. Don’t cry. Why are you crying? Do you not want me as your brother"?

Mo Chou listened with rapt attention. She felt sad for her mother and Reaper. She even felt a little sad for her biological father.

"Hey, it’s ok, I can skip classes but where exactly do you want to meet her? Do you want to meet her at the Liu mansion?" She asked him.

"Umm, no. I don’t really want to meet her there. Can you make an excuse and bring her here tomorrow? This restaurant is a safe place so I don’t have to worry about anything" said Reaper.

"Ohh, but can you not mention anything that you learned today before I meet her though" he quickly added in a little pleading tone.

"Sure" Mo Chou agreed and said, "then I’ll inform you the exact time to meet up after I fix it with mom".

Reaper naturally agreed. He really hoped that everything would go smoothly when they finally met.

Reaper and Mo Chou talked for a little longer and then finally bade goodbye when Mo Chou said that it was time to leave as classes would end shortly and she had come here sneakily without informing her bodyguards after all.

On the way home, Mo Chou’s mind was occupied with thoughts about the novel. None of this was ever mentioned in the novel. She realized that even though she knew some events that might occur in the future, she didn’t really have any advantage at all.

But this was fine with her as she kept encountering people from her previous life and those who had read the novel wouldn’t really have any advantages against her either.

When Mo Chou arrived home, there wasn’t anyone to greet her this time, only the butler was there to inform her that everyone was out. Mo Li was out attending a gathering she had been invited to.

The butler also mentioned that everyone had called and said that they would definitely be home by dinner time in order to have dinner together.

She thought about what to do, she could work out but she didn’t want to exhaust herself today.

She realized that she was smiling while looking at the pictures and quickly scolded herself.

’Ohh, they have a new post up’. Mo Chou looked at the new post and saw that it was actually photos of her and Lu Jinhai from today.

She hadn’t really paid attention to the students passing by so she had missed it. Mo Chou took a close look at the photos and silently saved them too.

There were even some people commenting about how their new wallpaper was Mo Chou and Lu Jinhai’s photo.

The photos had been posted not long ago but there the post was already very popular. Mo Chou was a little amazed at the rate the comments and likes were growing.

All of a sudden Mo Chou noticed that most of the new comments were hostile. They didn’t really mention Lu Jinhai but were insulting her. Even the villainess’s old behavior and actions had been dug up and mentioned.

Mo Chou ignored the comments as most of what they had said were true regarding ’Mo Chou’s’ old actions but she quickly noticed something concerning.

The commentators were claiming that Mo Chou was an impure person and had sexual relations with multiple people even when she was underage.

This was simply infuriating as Mo Chou didn’t even have a boyfriend, even the previous Mo Chou had never been in a relationship but the comments were claiming it with confidence.

’Do they really think I’m so easy to mess with?’ Mo Chou scoffed. She knew that this was probably a work of someone who hated her but who? Mo Chou was really going to get a headache, she didn’t offend or anger anyone but people kept trying to cause trouble for her.
