Mo Chou woke up bright and early the next day. She felt a little anxious, it was going to be her first proper meeting with big brother after a long time.

Her big brother must have changed right? She was not the same as when she was small too, especially after becoming an actual assassin.

Mo Chou was a little scared to meet her big brother as she was afraid of getting the cold shoulder from him again.

She would not be able to take it if her big brother started to hate her, when he was the only one she ever cared about in her previous life and the only person she had ever missed after arriving here.

’I hope whatever misunderstanding that big brother had regarding me will be resolved today’.

While having breakfast with her family, Mo Chou was a little distracted. Mo Li noticed it and asked her if she was alright. Mo Chou made an excuse that she was just concerned about an upcoming exam.

Liu Qiang and Liu Dai heard her words and both of them told her not to worry about the test, Liu Qiang even mentioned that he would help her graduate even if she didn’t study for the tests, his exact words were,"what is the use of me earning all this money if I can’t spoil my daughter"?

After saying goodbye to everyone, Mo Chou headed to the university. When she got out of the car, Mo Chou looked around like usual subconsciously searching for Lu Jinhai.

"Ohh, he is not going to be here today", she let out a sigh and started walking towards her and her friend’s meeting spot.

Li Chen and Huang Chunhua were already waiting for Mo Chou when she arrived at the meeting spot.

Both Li Chen and Huang Chunhua took a hold of each of Mo Chou’s arms and started walking. "Don’t worry girl, we won’t let you feel lonely just because Lu Jinhai is not here" Li Chen said when Mo Chou was about to ask why they were holding her arms.

Mo Chou gave them both a big smile and said, "and how do you know that I will be lonely without Lu Jinhai"?

"You seemed sad when Lu Jinhai said that he would not be able to make it today, so we are going to accompany you the whole day" Huang Chunhua replied with a shy expression.

"Aww guys, I really appreciate it but I have plans to go out after our break is over today, so you don’t have to miss classes" said Mo Chou, although she would really like to spend the whole day with them, she had already made plans and she couldn’t really miss the meeting.

"Ohh, are you not going to attend classes?" asked Li Chen.

"No, I will only be staying till break is over" replied Mo Chou.

"Phew, I actually have a test today that is worth a lot of marks", Li Chen said sheepishly.

Mo Chou laughed at Li Chen’s words, her friends were really silly, trying to accompany her even though they had things to do themselves but it made them even more precious in her eyes.

"Ohh, it’s time for class, I better get going". Huang Chunhua went to her own class while Li Chen and Mo Chou entered theirs.

"Should I sit with you for now though?" Li Chen was still a little concerned and asked Mo Chou.

"No need, don’t leave your desk mate alone for my sake, it’s just a single class, I’ll be fine don’t worry" Mo Chou reassured her.

Li Chen went to her own desk while Mo Chou sat down in hers.

Mo Chou took out a notebook and started doodling lost in thought. She was shocked when Li Chen called her after class was over to get her attention, Mo Chou had not even felt the time passing.

Li Chen and Mo Chou walked to the cafeteria and sat in their usual seats, ever since Mo Chou had talked to the girl who wanted her to introduce her to Liu Dai, the girl was nowhere to be seen during break.

The other girls at the table seemed clueless about the interaction that had happened between them though and acted like how they normally did.

Li Chen talked like a non-stop chatterbox constantly pulling Mo Chou into conversations which made her amused. ’I really do have the best friends’.

After the break was over, Mo Chou stood from her seat and informed Li Chen and Huang Chunhua that she would be going now.

She took a different exit and walked towards the area where the restaurant was located. The restaurant was a slightly hidden one near her restaurant. At this time of day, it was usually pretty empty.

Mo Chou had told her big brother to reserve a private room as the restaurant had small private rooms on the second floor.

On the way to the restaurant, Mo Chou took a few deep breaths to calm herself down.

After finally arriving at the restaurant, she informed the staff that her friend had made a reservation for them. After stating her name, the staff immediately took her to the second floor and told her the room number.

Mo Chou stood in front of the door of the room. ’Just act like the old times’ she told herself before opening the door.

001 or Reaper who was sitting on a chair immediately stood up when he heard the door open. He had known that Mo Chou was standing outside the door but hadn’t tried to open it, giving them both time to prepare themselves.

When Mo Chou finally opened the door, he stood up immediately and looked at her. He was obviously shocked to see someone with a completely different appearance than he had expected.

"Big brother?" He heard her ask in a slightly nervous tone. When he heard her, Reaper knew that this was really his ’little one’. No, he didn’t have the right to call her that anymore, after everything that had happened.

"It’s me" he choked out with difficulty as he was so overcome with emotions.

Mo Chou entered the room and closed the door behind her. Reaper immediately got to work and offered her the chair opposite him.

Mo Chou sat down and both of them looked at each other at a loss regarding what to say.

Finally, Reaper said, "Your appearance, it has changed".

"Yeah, I woke up in this body a few months ago after my death" Mo Chou replied truthfully.

"What? You woke up in that body after your death?" Reaper asked with a stunned expression.

Mo Chou frowned and asked, "Isn’t it the same for you? Didn’t you die and transmigrate into this world?"

Reaper seemed to be in deep thought, "I did die but I didn’t transmigrate into this body, I was born in this body and only got the memories of our previous life later".

"Now that I think about it, I only remembered my previous life a few months ago after falling unconscious all of a sudden" added Reaper.

Mo Chou was absolutely shocked hearing Reaper’s words, he was born into this world? "When exactly did you fall unconscious"?

Reaper told her the date and it matched the date that Mo Chou had arrived in this world.

Both Mo Chou and Reaper thought about it and found it really strange but they couldn’t really do anything about it.

"So if you were born here, do you have a family?" asked Mo Chou. She herself had gotten a precious family and would be very happy for her big brother if he had a family too.

"No, I am still an orphan, just like in our previous life I grew up training to be an assassin but this time, I was lucky as the assassin organisation is not cruel like the training compound we grew up in".

Mo Chou didn’t know how to feel about Reaper’s words, no matter how nice the assassin organisation was, she knew that training to be an assassin was hard.

"Don’t worry about my past, tell me about yourself, how have you been since you arrived here?" asked Reaper.

Reaper heard her words and seemed a little dumbfounded, "what villainess are you talking about?"

As for the family part, he was a little sad but also happy for Mo Chou, her eyes were sparkling while talking about them and in Reaper’s opinion, Mo Chou deserved happiness.

Reaper heard Mo Chou’s words and felt his world turning upside down,
